Mercyhurst University is a private Roman Catholic university in Erie, Pennsylvania.

The Mary D'Angelo Performing Arts Center is part of Mercyhurst University.

The Mercyhurst Athletic Center (often nicknamed The MAC) is a multi-purpose arena in Erie, Pennsylvania, USA. It is home to the Mercyhurst Lakers men's and women's basketball, volleyball and wrestling teams. Originally opened in 1977, the MAC received a major renovation in 2021, rotating the court, 90 degrees, adding new seats, video scoreboards and a new playing surface. Said surface was named the Owen McCormick Court after a major contributor to the capital campaign, and said renovations were instrumental to the Lakers athletic program's impending move up to NCAA Division I.

Saxon Stadium (formerly Tullio Stadium) is a 2,300-seat multi-purpose stadium located on the campus of Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania. A part of the William J. Vorscheck Athletic Complex, it is the home of the Mercyhurst Lakers field hockey, football, lacrosse and marching band programs. It also serves as home to the Erie Express semi-professional football team and the Erie Commodores FC soccer team in the National Premier Soccer League and United Women's Soccer.

Mercyhurst Ice Center is a 35,280 square foot, 1,500-seat hockey rink in Erie, Pennsylvania, United States. It is home to the Mercyhurst University Lakers Men's and Women's ice hockey teams. The center was the first privately funded ice rink in Erie when it opened on 8 December 1991. The school expects to retire its 30-year construction bond through the assessment of a student fee, which produces $80,000 annually.

Mercyhurst Preparatory School, commonly called Mercyhurst Prep or MPS, is a Catholic, coeducational secondary school located in Erie, Pennsylvania. In the Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie, the school is located behind Mercyhurst University on East Grandview Boulevard. It is a member of the International Baccalaureate program. Mercyhurst Preparatory School is accredited by the Middle States Association under the Accreditation for Growth protocol. In 2010 Mercyhurst Prep was reaccredited until November 2017.The U.S. Department of Education awarded MPS the Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Award in 1993 and again in 1998.

The Ridge College of Intelligence Studies and Applied Sciences at Mercyhurst University (RIAP), located on the campus of Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania, offers undergraduate and graduate studies programs in intelligence analysis. The program also offers graduate certificates in Applied Intelligence, Counterintelligence, and Law Enforcement Intelligence. The Intelligence Studies program "promotes the study of Intelligence in higher academic settings, while seeking to identify, promote, and employ best practices in the study and application of intelligence studies throughout its various disciplines (national security, law enforcement, business intelligence and academia)."

St. Mark Seminary is a diocesan minor seminary operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie and located on a campus in the southeast corner of the city of Erie, Pennsylvania. Seminarians in residence at the seminary pursue philosophy and liberal arts studies at Gannon University. The seminary houses seminarians from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie and other dioceses in the region.

Downtown Erie, is the central business, cultural and government center for the city of Erie, Pennsylvania. Erie’s Central Business District includes Gannon University, UPMC Hamot hospital, Erie Insurance, and city and county government offices, as well as other non-government related commercial retail and office development. Nearly 20,000 people work in downtown Erie. As of 2000, 2,690 people lived downtown.

The Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy (abbreviated NPCA), or just Collegiate Academy or Academy High School, is located in midtown Erie, Pennsylvania. The school is housed in the former Academy High School building, which reopened in September 1997 as Collegiate Academy. The school boasts a 100% college acceptance rate among recent graduates.

Erie Veterans Memorial Stadium is a football and soccer stadium located in Erie, Pennsylvania, United States. It was built in 1924 with the 1920 Academy High School building (the current Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy) overlooking it along its south side, and it was most recently renovated in 2019. The venue, the largest of its kind in the city of Erie with 10,000 seats, hosts high school-level American football games, soccer matches, and marching band invitationals. Additionally, Erie Veterans Memorial Stadium features an artificial turf surface that can be played on during inclement weather.The stadium has hosted 35 high-school playoff games throughout its history, making it the third-busiest playoff venue in Pennsylvania. Only Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey and Altoona's Mansion Park have hosted more games (98 and 88, respectively).Erie Veterans Memorial Stadium hosted an NFL Preseason game on August 31, 1940, between the Chicago Bears and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Jackson Koehler Eagle Brewery was an historic American brewery complex which was located in Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
