Saint-Roch-de-Richelieu is a municipality located in the Pierre-De Saurel Regional County Municipality of Quebec (Canada), in the administrative region of Montérégie. The population as of the Canada 2021 Census was 2,573.

The Petite rivière Bellevue (in English: little Bellevue river) is a tributary of the Lemoine River. It flows entirely in the municipality of Sainte-Victoire in the Pierre-De Saurel Regional County Municipality (MRC), in the administrative region of Montérégie, on the South Shore of St. Lawrence River, in Quebec, Canada. The economic vocation of this hydrographic slope is essentially agricultural. The course of the river also crosses some forest islands.

Vignoble Carone Wines is a Canadian winery located in the region of Lanaudière in Quebec, Canada, situated immediately to the northeast of Montreal, Quebec. Carone is an estate vineyard/winery and distillery owned by Anthony Carone and Sarah Hoodspith. The winery focuses on planting vitis vinifera and European crossed red grape vines. The winery has won international medals for their red wines and most recently released the first ever 100% Quebec grown Pinot noir wine. In August 2019, the winery expanded to craft distillation focusing on spirits produced exclusively from its grapes for a farm-to-flask approach.

The Sainte-Jeanne d'Arc summer camp (initially designated "Jeanne d'Arc holiday colony inc.") was established in 1926 serving the girls of greater Montreal. It is the second oldest summer camp exclusively for young girls, still in operation in Quebec and French Canada.This family vacation colony for young girls is located on the southeast shore of the St. Lawrence River, in the First Concession, in the town of Contrecoeur, in the Marguerite-D'Youville Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Montérégie, in province of Quebec, in Canada. This girls' camp is located 0.85 kilometres (0.53 mi) southwest of Des Grèves Vacation Camp; the latter was founded in 1912 by the same founder, Father Adélard Desrosiers, and was dedicated to boys until 1967.

Saint-Bernard-de-Michaudville is a municipality in southwestern Quebec, Canada in the Regional County Municipality of Les Maskoutains. The population as of the Canada 2021 Census was 616. The community was officially renamed from the Parish of Saint-Bernard-Partie-Sud to the Municipality of Saint-Bernard-de-Michaudville on July 19, 1997.

Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ dəni syʁ ʁiʃ(ə)ljø], lit. 'Saint-Denis on Richelieu') is a municipality in the southwestern part of Quebec, Canada on the Richelieu River in the Regional County Municipality of La Vallée-du-Richelieu. The population as of the Canada 2011 Census was 2,285.

Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃t‿ɑ̃twan syʁ ʁiʃ(ə)ljø], lit. 'Saint-Antoine on Richelieu') is a municipality in southwestern Quebec, Canada, on the Richelieu River in the Regional County Municipality of La Vallée-du-Richelieu. The population as of the Canada 2021 Census was 1,738. Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu was the birthplace of one of the Fathers of Confederation, George-Étienne Cartier.

Tourbières-de-Lanoraie Ecological Reserve is an ecological reserve in Quebec, Canada. It was established in 1994.

Calixa-Lavallée, named for the composer of the same name, is an off-island suburb of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada, east of Montreal in the Marguerite-D'Youville Regional County Municipality. The population as of the Canada 2011 Census was 504. On December 6, 2014, Calixa-Lavallée changed from parish municipality to a (regular) municipality.

The Battle of Saint-Charles was fought on 25 November 1837 between the Government of Lower Canada, supported by the United Kingdom, and Patriote rebels. Following the opening Patriote victory of the Lower Canada Rebellion at the Battle of Saint-Denis, British troops under the command of Lieutenant Colonel George Wetherall advanced from the south on the Patriote stronghold of Saint-Charles in the Richelieu valley. On 25 November 1837 they engaged the Patriote forces under the command of Thomas Storrow Brown. After a two-hour battle, the Government of Lower Canada was victorious.
