Rho (Italian: [ˈrɔ]; Lombard: Rò; Latin: Rhaudum) is a town and comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 14 kilometres (9 miles) northwest of Milan. The language spoken in Rho is Italian.

Rho railway station is a railway station in Italy, that serves the town of Rho. It is a junction of the Turin–Milan railway with the lines to Domodossola, to Luino and to Porto Ceresio. The train services are operated by Trenord.

Villa Burba, also known as Villa Burba Cornaggia Medici, is a 17th-century villa and garden complex located in the town of Rho, within the Metropolitan City of Milan, Lombardy, in Northern Italy. The villa's date of completion (1665) is inscribed on a fireplace in its main hall. It was originally built as a rural residence for local nobility and was later acquired by the Cornaggia Medici family in 1873. The villa features elements of Lombard Baroque architecture, including a U-shaped layout with a central portico supported by three arches and paired columns, as well as decorative wrought-iron balconies, gates and railings. The complex also includes ancillary buildings such as a chapel, barns and stables, all of which have been restored. Adjacent to the villa is a historic garden designed in the Baroque tradition, featuring formal pathways and a variety of rare and centuries-old plant species. The garden, which is seasonally open to the public, is recognized for its landscape and botanical value and was included in the ReGIS (Rete dei Giardini Storici) network in 2019. Today, Villa Burba is owned and managed by the Municipality of Rho. Its right wing houses the public library, while the central and left wings, along with the restored rustico buildings, are used for exhibitions, cultural programming, and community events.

Museo Storico Alfa Romeo (Alfa Romeo Historical Museum; subsequently called Museo Alfa Romeo - La macchina del tempo, literally Alfa Romeo Museum - The time machine) is Alfa Romeo's official museum, located in Arese (Milan), and displaying a permanent collection of Alfa Romeo cars and engines. After being closed down in 2011, the museum reopened in June 2015.

The Alfa Romeo Arese Plant was a plant area where Alfa Romeo had its head office for more than two decades prior to 1986. After Fiat Group purchased Alfa Romeo in 1986, Arese became one of the assembly plants of Fiat Group. The factory is in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) northwest of Milan. The Arese plant replaced the old Alfa Romeo Portello factory and its construction was started in 1960 and took three years and until the end of the 1990s it was the biggest plant of Alfa Romeo covering a very wide area, partly in the territories of Lainate and Garbagnate Milanese. The factory became known as the Arese plant only because the main entrance is in the municipality of Arese. Today the factory is almost totally closed and abandoned, since the Alfa Romeo owners (Fiat S.p.A.) have almost completely moved design and production to other factories inside and outside Italy. The company's final manufacturing activities at Arese ended in 2005 when the Alfa Romeo V6 engine production stopped in Arese.The few remaining employees (about 500) have often demonstrated against their dismissal. At the moment, most of the factory buildings are abandoned and the local administrations are looking for projects to use the huge area in a proper way, given its location. Arese and the factory are in fact very close to the newest services of Milan town, such as the high speed railway and the new exhibition centre FieraMilano. Several Italian highways pass very close to Arese as well: the A8, the A9, the A4, and the west Milan bypass highway which links to A1 and A7. The Centro Stile Alfa Romeo (design department) created in 1990 was one of the last company activities in Arese, but was moved in summer 2009 to Turin. The last designs made in Arese being the MiTo and Giulietta.In 2016, the Centro shopping center opened, it is considered among the largest retail stores in Europe as it occupies an area of 135,000 square meters and extends over a GLA (Gross leasable area) of 93,000 square meters for which the commercial gallery was defined the greatest of Italy. In addition to the shopping center, as 2019, is active the Customer Services Center of the FCA Group (call center with about 400 employees). In June 2015 has been reopened the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum and was delivered the renovation of the former test runway. In the past this short track was used to test new car built in the factory, now the small automotive circuit is used by customers of the adjacent motor village dealer.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,615 and an area of 6.2 square kilometres (2.4 sq mi).The municipality of Vanzago contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Mantegazza, Valdarenne, and Tre Campane. Vanzago borders the following municipalities: Pogliano Milanese, Pregnana Milanese, Arluno, Sedriano.

Pero (Milanese: Per [ˈpeːr]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 9 kilometres (6 mi) northwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 10,378 and an area of 5.0 square kilometres (1.9 sq mi).The municipality of Pero contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cerchiate and Cerchiarello. Pero borders the following municipalities: Rho, Milan. Pero is linked to Milan and Rho by the underground line M1 (a.k.a. "red line").

Rho Fiera is a station on Line 1 of the Milan Metro in Rho, Lombardy, Italy. It was opened on 14 September 2005 as a one-station extension from Molino Dorino; Pero station was only added on 19 December 2005. The station provides service to the FieraMilano exhibitition centre and is the current western terminus of the line. It is the westernmost station on the network. The station is outside the urban area of Milan. There is a special ticket, single or return, available for people travelling from Milan in order to visit the exhibitition centre by way of Rho Fiera station.
