Liberty Avenue (Armenian: Ազատության Պողոտա) is an avenue separating the Kanaker-Zeytun District from the Arabkir District in the Armenian capital Yerevan. The avenue starts with the Yerevan Cascade and the Victory Park at the south and ends up with the Tbilisi Highway at the north, near the abandoned ErAZ automobile factory.

Officially the Physics and Mathematics Specialized School named after Artashes Shahinyan under the Yerevan State University, colloquially known as PhysMath School, is a state-owned high school located in Yerevan, Armenia. It is currently among the leading educational complexes in Yerevan. The school has a branch in Stepanakert; the capital of the unrecognized state of Artsakh.

Monument (Armenian: Մոնումենտ), is a neighbourhood in the Kanaker-Zeytun District of the Armenian capital Yerevan. The name of the neighborhood originates from the towering monument inside of Victory Park, which can be seen throughout large parts of Yerevan. The original monument at this site was a 17 meter tall Stalin, unveiled in 1950, which was replaced with a statue of Mother Armenia in 1967, which is still Yerevan's tallest monumentIn Soviet times and early post-Soviet times there were large green spaces in Monument neighborhood, even outside of the park. During the rule of presidents Kocharyan and Sargsyan however, parts of these green areas were privatized under problematic circumstances for the construction of hotels and mansions. In 2014 the city even walled off a large portion of the green space where all of the land had been privatized and mansions were in various states of construction.In late 2020 Monument neighborhood saw the installation of a large new Ferris wheel, called Satan's Wheel, which the city authorities declared was installed illegally. It has therefore still not started operation.

Victory Park (Armenian: «Հաղթանակ» զբոսայգի Haght'anak zbosaygi), is a public park located in the Kanaker-Zeytun District of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

The Cascade Memorial to the Victims of Soviet Repression, or "Cascade Memorial", for short, is a monument in Yerevan, Armenia, dedicated to the memory of the victims of Soviet-era murders and deportations. It sits atop the Yerevan Cascade, next to an obelisk that commemorates 50 years of Soviet Armenia. According to current research, the Cascade Memorial was designed by Jim Torosyan, Yerevan's chief architect between 1971 and 1981, and was constructed in the late 1980s and completed around 2008.Inside the large concrete structure, a memorial slab has the inscription of "To All Your Souls on Fire", from the "Frenzied Masses" poem by Yeghishe Charents who himself fell victim to the repressions in 1937. Jim Torosyan's father, Petik Torosyan, also was arrested and executed in the 1930s. In the 1930s and 1940s, thousands of Armenians were deported and executed.As of 2023, the formal status of the Cascade Memorial remains unclear, with no institutions claiming responsibility or ownership. Currently, a group of activists are the main caretakers. The Cascade Memorial is described as unusual, in that it is locked most days of the year, with a small memorial ceremony taking place on June 14, the formal day of remembrance for the victims of Soviet repression. There have been suggestions to create access systems that require visitors to read a name of a victim, to participate in commemoration.Until August 2023, the Cascade Memorial lacked descriptions on Google Maps and other tourist guides. Research indicated that the monument, in spite of its size and prominent location, was barely known to residents of Yerevan. The monument was opened in 2008 by the then-President of Armenia, but has received few official visits since then.

French University in Armenia (French: Université Française en Arménie, UFAR, Armenian: Հայաստանում ֆրանսիական համալսարան) is a French language higher education institution in Armenia. The university is located on Davit Anhaght street at the Kanakerr-Zeytun district of Yerevan.

Komitas Avenue (Armenian: Կոմիտասի պողոտա) is a 3 km-long avenue in the Armenian capital of Yerevan. Named after the prominent Armenian composer Komitas, the avenue is the arterial road of the Arabkir district. The avenue which was opened in 1938, starts with the Mergelyan Institute of Mathematical Machines near Komitas square and ends up with the Lambada bridge junction crossed by the Azatutyan Avenue.The avenue is mainly home to residential buildings, shopping and service centres, small shops, as well as schools and restaurants.

The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA, Armenian: Գաֆէսճեան արվեստի կենտրոն (Gafesčyan arvesti kentron), also known as the Cafesjian Museum Foundation) is an art museum in Yerevan, Armenia. It is located at the central Kentron District, in and around the Yerevan Cascade which is a complex of massive staircase with fountains, ascending up from the Tamanyan Street gardens and pedestrian zone. Inspired by the vision of its founder, Gerard L. Cafesjian, the museum offers a wide variety of exhibitions, derived from the Gerard L. Cafesjian collection of contemporary art. Opened in November 2009, besides the exhibition of unique works of modern art, the museum offers a diverse program of lectures, films, concerts, and numerous educational initiatives for adults and children. Over one million people have visited the Center annually since its opening. The museum is directed and run and the Cafesjian Museum Foundation.

Mother Armenia (Armenian: Մայր Հայաստան Mayr Hayastan) is a female personification of Armenia. Her most public visual rendering is a monumental statue in Victory Park overlooking the capital city of Yerevan, Armenia.

Rusal Armenal is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rusal which runs an aluminum foil mill in the Arabkir district of Yerevan, Armenia. The premises of the mill was formerly known as the Kanaker aluminum smelter, which was commissioned in 1950, and became one of the largest aluminum foil mills in the Soviet Union and Europe in the 1980s.

European University of Armenia (EUA) (Armenian: Հայաստանի Եվրոպական համալսարան, romanized: Hayastani Yevropakan hamalsaran) is a state-owned public university located in Yerevan, Armenia.

ErAZ or Yerevanskiy Avtomobilny Zavod (Armenian: ԵրԱԶ or Երևանի ավտոմոբիլային գործարան, Russian: ЕрАЗ or Ереванский Автомобильный Завод, lit. 'Yerevan Automobile Plant'), was an Armenian automobile manufacturer in Yerevan, Armenia, mostly known for producing the van RAF-977K (as ErAZ-762) from 1966 to 1996. Plans to establish the ErAZ factory came about on December 31, 1964, by the Council of Ministers of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic. The original staff were trained at the Riga Autobus Factory in Latvia and UAZ in Russia. ErAZ was privatized in 1995, and declared bankruptcy in 2002.
