Conifer High School is a secondary school in Conifer, an unincorporated town located in the foothills of Jefferson County, southwest of Denver, Colorado, United States. The school is located about 20 minutes southwest of SH 470 and a short distance north of U.S. Highway 285.

The Bear Creek meteorite, formerly known as the Colorado meteorite, is an octahedrite meteorite that was found in 1866 in Jefferson County, Colorado, United States. It has a mass of 226.7 kg (500 lb) and average dimensions of 350 mm × 250 mm × 11 mm (13.78 in × 9.84 in × 0.43 in).

The Everhardt Ranch, located in southeast of Evergreen, Colorado, dates from 1867. A portion of the ranch with three of its historic buildings was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.It was deemed "significant for its associations with Johnny Everhardt and Gus and Marie Herzman, pioneer settlers in the Evergreen area, and for its architectural features which reflect the characteristic features of an early Colorado mountain ranch."It is located about .25 miles (0.40 km) southeast of the junction of Lone Peak Drive and North Mountain Park Rd., northeast of Evergreen Highlands and west of High Dr., about 4 miles (6.4 km) southeast of Evergreen.Its nomination was written in cooperation with Hiwan Homestead Museum.

University of Science, Arts and Technology (USAT) is an offshore private medical school located near Olveston, Montserrat. The university opened in 2003 with administrative headquarters in Colorado and its campus located in Montserrat. The school has graduates practicing in both the United States and worldwide and admits both domestic and foreign students.

Shaffers Crossing is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, in the U.S. state of Colorado.The community was named after Samuel Shaffer, the original owner of the site.
