Intervale Street-Columbia Road Historic District

The Lawrence Avenue Historic District is a historic district encompassing a small residential area in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Centered on Lawrence Avenue, the area was developed in the late 19th and early 20th century during a major Jewish migration, and includes a fine sample of Colonial Revival and Queen Anne architecture. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.

The Columbia Road–Devon Street Historic District encompasses a collection of brick residential apartment houses on Columbia Road in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Arrayed on the southeast side of the road near its junction with Devon Street are seven multistory buildings, constructed in the first two decades of the 20th century, when the area was developed as a streetcar suburb. An eighth building from the same period is located on the northwest side at the junction with Stanwood Street. These apartment blocks are typical of the speculative housing built at the time, with most of them built out of red brick laid in Flemish bond, with cast stone trim.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

Mosque No. 11, also known as Masjid Al-Quran, was a mosque in Boston, Massachusetts. The building came to prominence in the late 1950s when it was leased by the Nation of Islam and placed under the direction of Malcolm X, who was a minister there and at Mosques No. 7 and No. 12 until he left the religion for Sunni Islam in 1964.

The Benedict Fenwick School (or Sister Clara Muhammad School) is a 1912 historic school building at 150 Magnolia Street in Boston, Massachusetts. The Classical Revival brick school building was designed by Boston architect James E. McLaughlin, who also designed Fenway Park, the Commonwealth Armory in Boston, and the Hudson Armory in Hudson, Massachusetts. It was named for Benedict Fenwick, the second bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. The city used it as a school until 1981. It was purchased by the American Muslim Mission and opened the following year as the Sister Clara Muhammad School, named for Clara Muhammad, the first wife of Nation of Islam founder Elijah Muhammad. In 1999, it was acquired by a developer and converted to housing.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. It is listed on the Massachusetts State Register of Historic Places.

The Columbia Road–Strathcona Road Historic District encompasses a collection of brick residential apartment houses on Columbia and Strathcona Roads in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Arrayed on the southeast side of Columbia Road between Washington and Brinsley Streets are several multistory buildings with well-preserved Colonial Revival features. They were constructed in the first two decades of the 20th century, when the area was developed as a streetcar suburb. These were built mainly by Jewish developers Saul E. Moffie and Samuel Levy to serve a growing Jewish population in the area.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

Congregation Adath Jeshurun is a historic synagogue, now serving as a church, at 397 Blue Hill Avenue in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. As the Jewish community of Roxbury gradually moved away, its congregation dwindled and in 1967 it was sold to Ecclesia Apostolic Church. It was purchased by its present owner, the First Haitian Baptist Church, in 1978. The church has restored it to its present condition.The Romanesque style building was designed in 1906 by Frederick Norcross and David Krokyn and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Four Corners/Geneva is an MBTA Commuter Rail station in Boston, Massachusetts. It serves the Fairmount Line. It is located in the Mount Bowdoin section of the Dorchester neighborhood. The new station was being built as part of the Fairmount Line Improvement Project, which included four new stations as well as infrastructure upgrades. It has two full-length high-level platforms with walkways connecting them to Washington Street and Geneva Avenue. Four Corners/Geneva Ave opened on July 1, 2013, along with Newmarket.

It encompasses a residential development created in the early 20th century, including fine examples of Colonial Revival and Queen Anne wood-frame construction, as well as a series of brick Romanesque apartment houses. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.

The Columbia Road–Bellevue Street Historic District encompasses a collection of brick residential apartment houses on Columbia Road and Bellevue Street in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Arrayed mainly on Columbia Road between Wheelock Avenue and Bodwell Street, south of the Uphams Corner commercial area, area collection of primarily late 19th and early 20th-century multiunit residential buildings, built when the area was developed as a streetcar suburb. Most of these are Colonial Revival masonry or frame buildings three and four stories in height, although some exhibit Queen Anne features. There are a few older Greek Revival buildings in the district, and a number of apartment blocks built in the 1920s during a second phase of development.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

St. Mark's Episcopal Church is a historic church complex at 73 Columbia Road in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The complex consists of three buildings: a chapel, rectory, and parish hall. All three were built between 1904 and 1909, with the last significant alteration to the exterior of the church occurring in 1916. All three buildings were designed by Edmund O. Sylvester, and present a unified architectural statement of Craftsman styling with some English Gothic (Tudor Revival) detailing. The church complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.The congregation was established as a mission in 1887 after fire destroyed the St. Mary's Church on Bowdoin Street on June 15, and a portion of its congregation began to meet in the Grove Hall area of Dorchester. St. Mary's Mission carried on until October 31, 1897. An independent mission was organized a week later, which adopted the name "St. Mark's" on March 13, 1898, and which acquired land on Columbia Road to build a church in early October. The cornerstone for the new church was laid April 25, 1904, and the first service held on September 18. The congregation was formally incorporated as a parish on January 15, 1906.

Freedom House is a nonprofit community-based organization in Roxbury, Massachusetts (a neighborhood of Boston). Freedom House is located in an area sometimes referred to as Grove Hall that lies along Blue Hill Ave. at the border between the Roxbury and Dorchester neighborhoods of Boston. Although it was historically identified with Roxbury, Freedom House currently refers to itself as being located either in Dorchester or in Grove Hall.
