The Richardson House is a historic house located at 1603 1st Avenue, West in the Point Pleasant neighborhood of Bradenton, Florida.

The Bradenton Carnegie Library is a Carnegie library in Bradenton, Florida. It was founded in 1918, served as Bradenton's main library for 60 years, and now houses the Manatee County Historical Records Library. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature (formerly the South Florida Museum), located in Bradenton, Florida, is a natural history museum specializing in the history of Florida's gulf coast. It houses exhibits highlighting Florida history from the prehistoric to the present. The Museum also features regularly changing exhibits in the East Gallery, as well as in other small galleries throughout the first and second floors of the Museum. The Bishop also includes The Planetarium and the Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat, the former home of Snooty the manatee (1948-2017, Snooty was the oldest known manatee in the world at the time of his death). The Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat is a founding member of the Manatee Rescue and Rehabilitation Partnership and has rehabilitated more than 40 manatees since 1998. The Planetarium, which was opened in the mid-1960s, has since been entirely remodeled and received a significant technical upgrading in 2020.

The Peninsular Telephone Company Building, also known as the Peninsula Telephone Company Building or the GTE Building is an historic three-story yellow brick building located at 1009 4th Avenue, West in Bradenton, Florida. Built in 1925 for Peninsular, an independent telephone operating company based in Tampa which later became part of General Telephone (GTE), it was designed by local architect J. H. Johnson in the Commercial or Chicago School of architecture. Although not as ornate as most buildings of this style, it does have some ornamental features on its ground floor as well as a cornice topping its third floor. After the phone company stopped having a local walk in customer service center, the street level windows were bricked in. Today the building is owned by Manatee County and is used for storage. It is included in a walking tour of downtown Bradenton and is included in the city's master list of historic buildings.

The Manatee County Public Library is a division of the Manatee County Community and Veterans Services Department in Manatee County, Florida, United States. It has six branches. The public library system provides patrons with books, genealogy resources, online resources, and outreach services. Patrons have access to e-books, e-audio, music, movies, and five databases through the Manatee County Public Library system. Library cards are free to those who reside, own property, attend school, or work in Manatee County.

The Iron Block Building, so named for the words Iron Block embossed high on its front facade is an historic two-story commercial building located at 530 12th Street West (Old Main Street) across from the Manatee County Courthouse in Bradenton, Manatee County, Florida. The Iron Block Building was built in 1896 in the cast iron style of architecture by Dr. Charles Ballard. It originally housed Reed's Cash Store. The building would be moved from its original location at the southwest corner of Manatee Avenue and 12th Street West to its present location in 1921. It has been restored and according to A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture features original "pressed metal facades on three sides."In 1989, the Iron Block Building was listed in A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture, published by the University of Florida Press." Today it houses professional offices and retail businesses.

The Bradenton Bank and Trust Company, built during the height of the Florida land boom and now known as the Professional Building, is a historic 7-story commercial building located at 1023 Manatee Avenue West, just east of the Manatee County Courthouse in Bradenton, Manatee County, Florida, United States.

The Manatee County Courthouse, built in 1913, is a historic courthouse building located at 1115 Manatee Avenue, West, in Bradenton, Florida. On June 11, 1998, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Bradenton Riverwalk (known locally as the Riverwalk) is a 1.5-mile-long (2.4 km) public green space located along the Manatee River in Bradenton, Florida, between Business US 41 and South Tamiami Trail (US 301 / US 41 concurrently). The five-acre (2.0 ha) park opened to the public on October 18, 2012 and features a skatepark, 400-seat amphitheater, playgrounds, and a splash pad. The area is maintained by the city of Bradenton and the nonprofit organization Realize Bradenton.

The Palmetto Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district, bounded by Twenty-first Avenue, Seventh Street, Fifth Avenue, and the Manatee River in Palmetto, Florida. It contains 208 historic buildings and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 6, 1986. The district includes Palmetto Historical Park and the various historical buildings and museums it contains.

Palmetto Historical Park is located in the heart of Palmetto Historic District in Palmetto, Florida, Manatee County, Florida. This site is the original location of Palmetto's first city hall and school building. The Park includes Palmetto's first Post Office (1880), a cottage museum, a historic one room schoolhouse, a small military museum and a reproduction chapel representative of area churches. There is also a chapel, Military Museum and the 1914 Carnegie Library. Palmetto Historical Park is operated by the Palmetto Historical Commission, Manatee County Clerk of Circuit Court, the Manatee County Board of County Commission, and the City of Palmetto. The Manatee County Agricultural Museum next door is housed in a building formerly housing Palmetto's police, fire and maintenance personnel.

The Manatee County Agricultural Museum is located at 1015 6th Street West, Palmetto, Florida 34221. It is open Tuesday–Friday 10:00–12:00 and 1:00–4:00 as well as the first and third Saturdays of the month. Agriculture has always been part of Manatee County’s history as well as a stable force and a major contributor to the county's economy. At the Manatee County Agricultural Museum, exhibits focus on the county's primary commodities including Livestock, Vegetables, Citrus, Horticulture, and Commercial Fishing. The museum features displays of tools, equipment, photographs and exhibits that reflect the area's rich heritage. The Manatee County Agricultural Museum is a joint project of the Manatee County Agricultural Museum Board, Manatee County Clerk of Circuit Court, the Manatee County Board of County Commission, and the City of Palmetto. The museum is located within the Palmetto Historical Park.
