Ziegelstein station is a Nuremberg U-Bahn station, located on the U2. As the track between Ziegelstein and the terminus of U2, Flughafen is single track without passing loops about two thirds of all U2 trains terminate here during the day. Prior to 2017, these early terminating U2 trains were signalled "U21". The word "Ziegelstein" refers to the neighborhood the station serves, but is also the German word for brick.

Rathenauplatz station is a Nuremberg U-Bahn station, located on the U2 and U3. The station is named for the nearby square which was in turn named for the assassinated industrial leader and foreign minister of Germany Walter Rathenau. A portrait of Rathenau adorns the walls of the station and there is also a portrait of the father of Zionism, Theodor Herzl. When traveling in a northerly direction, Rathenauplatz is the last station served by both U2 and U3 and it is therefore a busy interchange station.

The Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm (shortened TH Nürnberg; English name Nuremberg Institute of Technology Georg Simon Ohm) is a public Technische Hochschule in Nuremberg, Bavaria. With its 12,200 students and 1,800 faculty members, it is the second biggest Technische Hochschule in Bavaria. The university got its name in honor of Georg Simon Ohm who was a professor and headmaster of the predecessor of the Hochschule, the Polytechnische Schule, between 1839 and 1849. The logo of the Technische Hochschule is the Ω as a reference to Ohm the SI derived unit for electric resistance named after Georg Simon Ohm. The main campus is located around the Wöhrder Wiese city park close to Nuremberg's downtown area. There are more facilities distributed around the city. They also contain a cafeteria and a university owned kindergarten called Milliohm.

The Kunstverein Nürnberg (art association Nuremberg, official name "Kunstverein Nürnberg - Albrecht Dürer Gesellschaft e.V.") is a venue for exhibitions of contemporary art. The association was founded in 1792 and is Germany's oldest arts association.The association's exhibition space is situated in a building designed 1930 by architect Otto Ernst Schweizer, well known for buildings such as the Ernst-Happel-Stadion. Nürnberg-Ostring station is a Nuremberg S-Bahn railway station on the Nuremberg–Schwandorf railway at the intersection with the B 4 ring road ("B 4 R", this section named Cheruskerstraße) in the Tullnau neighbourhood of Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. The station has a 120-metre (390 ft) long and 85-centimetre (33 in) high island platform elevated above the roadway, accessed by stairs on either side. It is served by the S1 line and has stops for city bus lines 43 and 65 on the north of the station on either side of the B 4 R; there is also a stop for tram line 5 at the intersection of the B 4 R and Ostendstraße 200 metres (660 ft) north of the station. Nürnberg–Ostring opened on 26 September 1987 with the start of the first Nuremberg S-Bahn service by the Deutsche Bundesbahn. The Business Tower Nürnberg office complex, the headquarters of the Nürnberger Versicherung insurance company, is adjacent to the station. The Business Tower also gives the name to the Straßenbahn Nürnberg stop some 150 m (490 ft) away.
