Dommeldange railway station (Luxembourgish: Gare Dummeldeng, French: Gare de Dommeldange, German: Bahnhof Dommeldingen) is a railway station serving Dommeldange, a quarter in the north-east of Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is situated on Line 10, which connects Luxembourg City to the centre and north of the country. It is the second stop north out of Luxembourg station, which is located 4.5 kilometres (2.8 mi) to the south, on the other side of Ville Haute.

The Chinese Ambassador to Luxembourg is the official representative of the People's Republic of China to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Dommeldange Castle (French: Château de Dommeldange; Luxembourgish: Schlass Dummeldeng) is located in Dommeldange, the most northerly quarter of Luxembourg City in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Initially a private residence built for the owner of the local iron works, it is now the Embassy of the People's Republic of China.

Eich (Luxembourgish: Eech, pronounced [eːɕ] ) is a quarter in northern Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. As of 31 December 2022, the quarter has a population of 2,913 inhabitants.

The Embassy of Russia in Luxembourg is the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The mission is located in the historic Château de Beggen.

Beggen (Luxembourgish pronunciation: [ˈbæɡən] ) is a quarter in northern Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. As of 31 December 2022, the quarter has a population of 3,800 inhabitants.The quarter is the location of the 19th century Château de Beggen, built on the ruins of a former 18th century paper mill. In the 20th century, the château has served, successively, as the home of the director general of Luxembourg's notable steel company, ARBED, a base for both occupying Wehrmacht forces and, later, the liberating US troops during the Second World War, a hotel, an embassy of the Soviet Union, and currently, the embassy of the Russian Federation in Luxembourg.Beggen is home to FC Avenir Beggen, a historically successful football club that has struggled in the last years and now plays at level 3 in the Luxembourg football league.

Stade rue Henri Dunant is a football stadium in Beggen, a quarter of Luxembourg City, in northern Luxembourg. It is currently the home stadium of FC Avenir Beggen. The stadium has a capacity of 4,830.

The Jean Monnet 2 building (also known as JMO2) is a future office complex for the European Commission under construction on Boulevard Konrad Adenauer in the European district of the Luxembourg City quarter of Kirchberg, Luxembourg. The complex is to be composed of a welcome pavilion and two office buildings to be completed in two phases respectively; an 8 storey 180 metre (m) long block and a 24 storey tower, connected at the basement and second storey levels. The first phase was expected to be completed by late February 2023, and the second phase by late February 2024. This timetable has been pushed back due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The first Jean Monnet building, opened in 1975, was demolished between 2016 and 2019, after exceeding its lifespan, and following the discovery of airborne traces of asbestos. The construction site combines some of the plot of the previous building with an adjacent former open air car park. Upon completion, the Jean Monnet 2 building will enable the European Commission to consolidate the majority of its Luxembourg-based staff on one site. Like its predecessor, the building's namesake is European Union (EU) founding father Jean Monnet.

The European Court of Justice (ECJ), formally just the Court of Justice (French: Cour de Justice), is the supreme court of the European Union in matters of European Union law. As a part of the Court of Justice of the European Union, it is tasked with interpreting EU law and ensuring its uniform application across all EU member states under Article 263 of the Treaty of the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU).The Court was established in 1952, and is based in Luxembourg. It is composed of one judge per member state – currently 27 – although it normally hears cases in panels of three, five or fifteen judges. The Court has been led by president Koen Lenaerts since 2015.The ECJ is the highest court of the European Union in matters of Union law, but not national law. It is not possible to appeal against the decisions of national courts in the ECJ, but rather national courts refer questions of EU law to the ECJ. However, it is ultimately for the national court to apply the resulting interpretation to the facts of any given case, although only courts of final appeal are bound to refer a question of EU law when one is addressed. The treaties give the ECJ the power for consistent application of EU law across the EU as a whole. The court also acts as an administrative and constitutional court between the other EU institutions and the Member States and can annul or invalidate unlawful acts of EU institutions, bodies, offices and agencies.

The Palais de la Cour de Justice is a building complex acting as the seat of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), located in the European district of the Luxembourg City quarter of Kirchberg. Today the Palais complex encompasses the original 1973 building, now known as the Ancien Palais, which houses the court rooms of the CJEU's Court of Justice, the Anneau building, encircling the Ancien Palais, which contains the judges chambers and deliberative rooms, the three tower buildings containing the CJEU's translation services, and the Gallery building, containing the CJEU's legal library and linking all the structures of the Palais complex with the renovated three annexes (Erasmus, Thomas More and Themis) originally constructed between 1978 and 1994 that now host the court rooms of the CJEU's General Court. The Palais' third tower, and latest extension to the complex, is the tallest building in Luxembourg, and, according to the CJEU, boasts the only skyscraper observation deck in the world with a view over four countries: Belgium, France, Germany and Luxembourg.

The General Court, informally known as the European General Court (EGC), is a constituent court of the Court of Justice of the European Union. It hears actions taken against the institutions of the European Union by individuals and member states, although certain matters are reserved for the European Court of Justice. Decisions of the General Court can be appealed to the Court of Justice, but only on a point of law. Prior to the coming into force of the Lisbon Treaty on 1 December 2009, it was known as the Court of First Instance.

The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) (French: Cour de justice de l'Union européenne or "CJUE"; Latin: Curia) is the judicial branch of the European Union (EU). Seated in the Kirchberg quarter of Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, this EU institution consists of two separate courts: the Court of Justice and the General Court. From 2005 to 2016, it also contained the Civil Service Tribunal. It has a sui generis court system, meaning 'of its own kind', and is a supranational institution.The CJEU is the chief judicial authority of the European Union and oversees the uniform application and interpretation of European Union law, in co-operation with the national judiciary of the member states. The CJEU also resolves legal disputes between national governments and EU institutions, and may take action against EU institutions on behalf of individuals, companies or organisations whose rights have been infringed.
