St. Mary's Catholic Church is a Catholic parish in Boise, Idaho, in the West Central Deanery of the Diocese of Boise. It was erected by Bishop Edward Kelly in 1937 as Boise's second Catholic parish; the city's Catholic population had grown too large to be served solely by the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. Its North End location was criticized at the time for being too far from the city center. A Catholic school, St. Mary's School, was established in 1948.The historic Gothic church building, located at State and 26th Streets, was designed bt Frank Hummel of Tourtellotte & Hummel. It was significantly enlarged in 2009 with a design by ZGA Architects and Planners intended to respect the original structure, which won the Idaho Historic Preservation Council's Orchid Award for cultural heritage preservation. The renovated building combines Gothic and neo-classical styles with some modern elements.The church is richly decorated with religious artwork. Notable pieces include a statue of Mary seated in a pew, carved by John Taye; ten roof beams chainsaw-carved into statues of angels carrying various musical instruments by J. Chester Armstrong; large doors of Honduran mahogany also chainsaw-carved by Armstrong depicting Biblical scenes; and a Biblical altar triptych painted by Tom Browning. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Guernsey Dairy Milk Depot is a historic building in Boise, Idaho. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The Depot was built in 1937 by L. S. Mallory to designs by architects Tourtellotte & Hummel. It is a rare example of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture in their portfolio. It was built to house both commercial and light industrial operations. It has been occupied as offices since at least the 1980s.

The Louis Stephan House is a 1-story Bungalow in Boise, Idaho, designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel and constructed in 1915. The house features a modest, rectangular design with a ridgebeam running perpendicular to the street, front and back gables, and an enclosed porch behind "four blocky battered posts with plain battered capitals." The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.Louis Stephan and his sons owned Boise's Imperial Bakery, and Stephan was president of the Stephan Baking Co. During World War I and at the time of his death in 1933, he was known as Ludwig Stephan.

The Harrison Boulevard Historic District in Boise, Idaho, includes 427 residences, an elementary school, and a church. The district is centered on Harrison Boulevard, a wide, tree lined thoroughfare with a grassy median separating north and south traffic. Harrison Boulevard extends approximately one mile from its southern beginning at West Hays Street to its northern boundary at Hill Road. The east boundary extends to Washington School at 15th and Ridenbaugh Streets, and it includes three residential properties at 15th Street, but the district narrows around Harrison Boulevard as it proceeds north. The west boundary extends as far as 20th Street at the south end of the district, and it narrows to Harrison Boulevard as the district proceeds north.Many architectural styles are represented in the district, including Bungalow, Queen Anne, Tudor Revival, Colonial Revival, and Classical Revival. Many residences were designed by Boise's prominent architectural firms, including Tourtellotte & Co., Tourtellotte & Hummel, Wayland & Fennell, and Nisbet & Paradice. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Zurcher Apartments in Boise, Idaho, is a 2-story, Neoclassical building designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel and completed in 1912. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.When it opened, the building featured four apartments, each with three rooms, a bathroom, and a Murphy bed.Oscar Zurcher was a partner in a marble and granite company located near the Zurcher Apartments, and with his brother Otto Zurcher owned the Zurcher Brothers Grocery.

Surel's Place is an artist in residency program located in Garden City, Idaho, in a home studio designed by local artist Surel Lee Mitchell, who died of lung cancer on October 10, 2011, twenty years after she quit smoking (only non-smokers are accepted). Established in 2011, it is Idaho's only live-in artist-in-residency program. The studio serves as the anchor of the eponymous neighborhood The Surel Mitchell Live/Work/Create District. Surel's Place is steps away from the Boise Greenbelt, blocks away from the Visual Arts Collective, and minutes via bicycle to downtown Boise itself. Each residency (submissions are by open application) is typically for one month; twenty-four artists have resided there as of October 2015 (including tap dancer Andrew Nemr). “You forget to eat,” Kansas City-based painter David Titterington, who stayed at Surel’s in July of that year. “I got so much done. Way more than at other residencies." Since its inception, glass artist Zion Warne, mixed media painter Sam Paden, architect and furniture craftsman Derek Hurd, and illustrator Julia Green have also come to Garden City, and Surel's Place has become an integral part of the city's revival.

Veterans Memorial Park is a 38-acre (15 ha) urban park along the Boise River in Boise, Idaho, USA. The park is managed by the Boise Parks and Recreation Department and includes picnic facilities, play areas, and memorials to veterans and fallen soldiers. Although managed by Boise Parks and Recreation, Veterans Memorial Park is not a city park but an Idaho state park.

The Emerson and Lucretia Sensenig House, also known as the Marjorie Vogel House, is a 2+1⁄2-story Foursquare house in Boise, Idaho, designed by Watson Vernon and constructed in 1905. The house features a hip roof with centered dormers and a half hip roof over a prominent, wraparound porch. Porch and first-floor walls are brick, and second-floor walls are covered with square shingle veneer. A second-story shadow box with four posts is inset to the left of a Palladian style window, emphasized by three curved rows of shingles. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Camel's Back Park is an 11-acre (4.5 ha) urban park in Boise, Idaho, managed by the Boise Parks and Recreation Department. The park includes picnic tables, play areas, an outdoor gym, practice fields, and facilities for tennis and volleyball. The park is adjacent to the 63-acre (25 ha) Camel's Back Reserve and the 292-acre (118 ha) Hulls Gulch Reserve.

Rhodes Park, also known as Rhodes Skatepark, is a 1.28-acre (0.52 ha) skatepark between 15th and 16th Streets under Interstate 184 in Boise, Idaho, USA. The park is managed by the Boise Parks and Recreation Department and includes skateboarding and parkour challenges.

Baldwin is a former mining town from the late 19th century located about 8.5 miles southwest of Crested Butte, Colorado. While Baldwin is not commonly known as a ghost town, many of the original structures still exist. Much of the land that the few structures are on is now privately owned. The town of Baldwin came to be because of the coalfields that were discovered at the base of Mount Carbon, now called Carbon Peak. Baldwin became a ghost town due to the departure and subsequent abandonment of The Denver and South Park railroad that served Baldwin.
