St George College is the first Orthodox school in Adelaide, South Australia. The co-educational college, established in 1983, operates under the auspices of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia and is sponsored by the Orthodox community. The original school, now the junior school, is on the corner of Rose Street and Dew Street in the suburb of Mile End. The senior school is located close by, on the corner of Henley Beach Road and South Road, on the site of the former Thebarton Primary School.

The Thebarton Theatre (also known as Thebbie Theatre, Thebbie or Thebby) is an entertainment venue located in the inner-western Adelaide suburb of Torrensville, South Australia. Its capacity is 2,000 people, with customisable seating, enabling to be arranged from "in the round", or with the seating partially or fully removed to make room for a dance floor. It is known as a music venue for both big international names and newly-established artists, as well as a range of other types of performance. Thebarton Theatre is in partnership with Holden Street Theatres, and houses its office headquarters. Built in 1926 and opened in 1928, the theatre is listed on the South Australian Heritage Register on 23 September 1982.

The Ice Arena (stylised as IceArenA) is an ice sports and public skate centre, opened on 17 September 1981 and located in Thebarton, Adelaide, South Australia. The Ice Arena is South Australia's premier ice skating facility located just minutes from the Adelaide CBD. The centre is the home of the Ice Factor Foundation Inc and the ice sports associations (SAISA, IHSA and BASA), and their respective clubs including Adelaide Adrenaline (AIHL), Adelaide Rush (AWIHL) and Adelaide Generals (AJIHL).

The Town of Thebarton was a local government area of South Australia from 1883 until 1997. It was seated at the village of Thebarton, now an inner west suburb of Adelaide.

Sunrise Christian School is a Pentecostal school located across five campuses in South Australia. It is a member of the Adelaide Christian Schools group of schools. The group comprises Sunrise, Temple Christian College, Sunrise Christian School, Whyalla and Sunrise Bethel Christian School in Port Moresby, PNG. The original campus is located in Fullarton and this location still hosts a campus which serves as the emotional "home" of the Sunrise network. The school was started in 1978 with approximately 30 students. In the years since it has grown to five campuses comprising 1000+ students. The Marion Campus is the only current Sunrise campus which goes through to year 12.

Mile End railway station is located on the Belair, Seaford and Flinders lines adjacent to the inner western Adelaide suburb of Mile End. It is located 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from the Adelaide station. There is easy access from Ellis Park, Adelaide Park Lands, but access from Mile End is limited.

Thebarton Oval (currently Guardall Security Stadium) is a sports ground in Adelaide, South Australia currently used for a variety of sports including Australian rules football. It was the home ground of South Australian National Football League (SANFL) club West Torrens between 1922 and 1989, and since 2008 has been the home of the South Australian Amateur Football League (SAAFL) now called the Adelaide Footy League.

Radio 5RPH (1197 kHz) is a volunteer manned AM band community radio station in Adelaide, South Australia Australia for the blind.Radio 5RPH is a member of the Radio Print Handicapped Network. Its stated mission is to "provide a quality reading and information service to those within its broadcast area who are unable (for whatever reason) to access daily printed material".Newspapers, magazines, books, and other printed material are read to air. The station also hosts a morning sports show weekday mornings and broadcasts matches from the South Australian National Football League.

Hilton, on Kaurna land, is an inner western suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of West Torrens, for which it is the council seat.

SA Athletics Stadium is a comprehensive, modern athletics facility. Located only a few minutes drive from the Adelaide CBD, the athletics facility offers a national standard nine lane running track and field complex including training and warm-up areas, lighting, photo finish and modern timing equipment. The infield converts to a FIFA regulation sized quality turf pitch for soccer and other turf related sports. The stadium was formerly known as Santos Stadium under a sponsorship arrangement with Santos Limited. SA Athletics Stadium is owned and operated by the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing, an agency of the Government of South Australia. Opened on Australia Day, 1998, it replaced the Olympic Sports Field in Kensington as Adelaide's premier athletics venue, and has seating for 1,200 and a maximum capacity of 6,000. The track surface is Rekortan M99.The stadium is located on the edge of the CBD, in the Adelaide Parklands adjacent to Priceline Stadium, Adelaide's largest netball complex. The Stadium is home to Athletics South Australia, the South Australia Athletics League, City Bay Fun Run, the South Australian Little Athletics Association, and is regularly used by schools for sporting carnivals.

Bonython Park is a 17-hectare park in the north-west Park Lands of the South Australian capital of Adelaide. The park was opened in 1962 and named in honour of prominent South Australian politician and journalist, Sir John Langdon Bonython. It is situated on north-western side of the River Torrens, bordered by Port Road. It is on the opposite side of the river to a golf course, and adjacent to the old Adelaide Gaol and the Police Barracks. Bonython Park forms part of what is known as Park 27, and since the dual naming initiative by Adelaide City Council in the early 2000s, Park 27 is also known as Tulya Wardli. There are sites straddling this park and Park 1/ Pirltawardli of some significance to the Kaurna people, since various "native locations" were established on the sites dating from 1837, when the first settlers arrived and the establishment of a Christian mission in the following year.

Thebarton Senior College is a public senior secondary school located in Torrensville in Adelaide, South Australia. The school was established on the site in 1919 as Thebarton Boys Technical High School, with adult re-entry students accepted in 1988 and then formally becoming an adult re-entry college in 1990. From 2012, it is providing senior students with the opportunity of completing their South Australian Certificate of Education, either alone or in conjunction with a nationally accredited vocational certificate. The College grounds and facilities were upgraded in 2005. It has a gymnasium, cafeteria, library, study centre and up-to-date technology for use by staff and students. In 2010 a new Language Centre and Technology facilities were completed. During 2013, new library extensions are being built which will provide state-of-the-art study facilities.
