Al Safliya Island

Zone 61 is a zone of the municipality of Ad Dawhah in the state of Qatar. The main districts recorded in the 2015 population census were Al Dafna and Al Qassar.

The Pearl Island (Arabic: جزيرة اللؤلؤة, romanized: jazirat alluwlua) in Doha, Qatar, is an artificial island with an area of nearly four square kilometers. It is the first land in Qatar to be available for freehold ownership by foreign nationals. As of 2018, there were 27,000 residents. Once fully completed, The Pearl was expected to create over 32 kilometers of new coastline, for use as a residential estate with an expected 18,831 dwellings and 45,000 residents by 2018.In 2004, when the project was first revealed, the initial cost of constructing the island stood at $2.5 billion. It is now believed the project will cost $15 billion upon completion.

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Doha is the diplomatic mission of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the State of Qatar. It is located in the Diplomatic Area of West Bay, Doha. His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa bin Sultan Al Nahyan is the current ambassador, a post held since September 2023.

Qatar Motor Show is an annual international motor show held in Doha, Qatar. It is held each January at the Doha Exhibitions Centre. The debut motor show was in 2011 which had 90,000 attendees. The 2012 show grew to 120,000 visitors from around the Persian Gulf region. It features new models as well as supercars, concept cars, custom cars from style centers and automotive designers. Outdoor demonstrations of motocross and drifting are featured as well as test driving.

The Doha Convention Center Tower is an on-hold 570 m (1,870 ft) tall skyscraper project which was planned to be constructed in Doha, Qatar. The structure, shaped like a tapering obelisk, would have housed offices on the lower levels, apartments, a hotel and penthouse residences on the upper floors. At the very top, a private club was to occupy a 60 m (200 ft) high glass cylinder surrounded by extensions of tower's façade and supported by a structural helix.Construction was suspended following the discovery that the building would impact flight paths to and from Doha International Airport. Construction was expected to continue when the Hamad International Airport was completed on reclaimed land approximately 3 km to the east of the current airport. The delay meant that the building's completion date was moved from 2012 to an unknown date. The Tower was redesigned with a similar shape similar to the nearby Al Quds Endowment Tower. After the completion of Hamad International Airport, the plans for the supertall skyscraper were scrapped; however, the convention center was successfully built, and opened in 2015.

The Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel is a five-star luxury hotel run by the Sheraton Hotels and Resorts overlooking the Persian Gulf in the West Bay area of Doha, Qatar. Located approximately two miles northwest of the port area, it reportedly covers an area of around 10,000 square metres. The hotel reportedly cost around $100 million to build, and although built by an American company, it was subsidized by the Qatari government.Established in 1979, it is noted for its distinct pyramid shape and is part of the conference facility for the Organization of Arab States. The Sheraton Doha has been described as having "a world of Arabian luxury and magical ambience". The hotel itself has a very important function as a conference centre in Doha and regularly hosts events including international scientific seminars and meetings. The First Conference for Expatriate Arab Scientists, QFIRST took place at the hotel in 2007 and it has hosted meetings of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The hotel reportedly has one auditorium which holds over 1000 people.The hotel has 371 rooms, 9 restaurants, and 26 conference rooms. In 2020, it was host to the Doha peace conference that negotiated the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan.

Al Fardan Residences, also known as the Barjeel Tower and the Wind Tower, is a 64-storey residential skyscraper in West Bay, Doha, Qatar. At 254 metres (830 feet), it is the second tallest completed building in Doha. Each of the storeys is 4.1 metres (13.5 feet), each built with 94 "SKE 50 automatic climbers", in a 3 to 4-day cycle. Construction began in 2006 and was completed in 2009.

Al Qassar (Arabic: القصار, romanized: Al Qaşşār; also spelled to as Al Gassar) is a seafront district on Qatar's eastern coast, located in the municipality of Ad Dawhah.In the 2015 census it formed Zone 61 with Al Dafna and Zone 66 with Onaiza and Leqtaifiya.

West Bay (Arabic: الخليج الغربي) is an area in Doha, Qatar that encompasses the city's east coast districts, namely, Al Qassar, Al Dafna, West Bay Lagoon, and Onaiza. West Bay includes many modern buildings unlike other, older districts of Doha. Some of the tallest skyscrapers in Qatar are found in this area.

Al Dafna (Arabic: الدفنة) is a seaside district of the Qatari capital Doha located on the Persian Gulf. The district is currently rapidly developing into a central business district, and since the late 1990s dozens of skyscrapers have risen in the district, with over fifty more planned. The district is also home to the City Center mall, one of the Middle East's largest malls. The district was physically created in the mid-1980s following a massive land reclamation project along Doha's coastline, and started to develop in the mid-1990s. Currently, Al Dafna is rapidly becoming Doha's new downtown district, and with the massive amount of recent development towards the north of Doha; it is also rapidly becoming the new centre of the city. Housing in the district is mainly up-scale and many foreign consuls reside here.
