Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath (Kannada: ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಪರಿಷತ್) is a visual art complex located in Bangalore. The complex has 18 galleries. 13 of these galleries carry a permanent collection of paintings, sculptures and folk art. The other galleries are rented out for exhibitions of works by artists of repute. The folk art collection showcases Mysore paintings and leather puppets. The Parishat runs the College of Fine Arts, a visual arts college. Each January, the Parishath organizes Chitra Santhe, a cultural event showcasing affordable art to the public. The motto of the event is "Art for All".

Popular Sankey Tank lake is situated very near to the area.

New Krishna Bhavan (abbreviated as NKB) was a vegetarian restaurant in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. Founded in 1954 by Ramakrishna Prabhu, it ran for seven decades as a family business and primarily served Udupi-style cuisine, as well as dishes from interior Karnataka and from North India.

Sampige Road, officially named Mantri Square Sampige Road, is a metro station on the Green Line of the Namma Metro serving the Malleswaram area of Bangalore, India. It was opened to the public on 1 March 2014. The station was constructed by Mantri Developers and consists of two basements, one ground and one upper floor. The station was named Mantri Square Sampige Road due to a PPP agreement between the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) and Mantri. Mantri Square is a shopping mall located near the station.The station area covers around 80,000 sq feet. A bridge connecting the station to the first floor of the mall was inaugurated on 20 August 2014. This was the first bridge in India directly linking a metro station with a mall.

Mount Carmel College (MCC) is an autonomous college located in Bangalore, India, affiliated to Bengaluru City University. It is one of the first women’s colleges established in 1944 in Trichur as 'Carmel College' under the Madras University and shifted to Bengaluru in 1948. Bangalore Cantonment (station code: BNC) is one of the three important railway stations serving the city of Bangalore and it is located in the locality of Vasanth Nagar and nearby to Shivajinagar. The Station started operations in 1864, with the launch of the Bangalore Cantonment – Jolarpettai train services by the Madras Railway. The train line was broad-gauge and 149 km long, connecting the Bangalore Cantonment with Vellore district. A total of 119 passenger trains start/end/pass through Bangalore Cantonment railway station. National Military Memorial Park (NMM Park) is a tribute by people and the government, designed by Nisha Mathew Ghosh and Soumitro Ghosh to honor the men and families of martyrs who have died in the service of the nation. National Military Memorial is located adjacent to Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park in Bangalore.Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Member of Parliament is chairman of National Military Memorial Committee. The memorial was created after long legal battle that reached Supreme Court.
