The Havens

Broad Haven (Welsh: Aberllydan) is a village and seaside resort in the south east corner of St Bride's Bay at the western terminus of the B4341 road in south Pembrokeshire, Wales. Broad Haven and Little Haven together form the Havens community and division of Pembrokeshire County Council. The 2001 census records a population of 1,328 for the Havens. The only church in Broad Haven is the Baptist church, although there are Anglican churches in nearby Little Haven. It is a seaside resort with a large west-facing Blue Flag beach offering safe bathing for families and good surfing, windsurfing and sailing opportunities. The north end of Broad Haven beach has a number of interesting geological features including folding, a stack (locally known as Lion Rock) and natural arches. The town has a number of restaurants and pubs. Broad Haven should not be confused with the Broad Haven South beach near Bosherston in south Pembrokeshire.

Haroldston West is a rural coastal parish in west Pembrokeshire, Wales, 5.5 miles (8.9 km) west of Haverfordwest. It is in the community of Merlin's Bridge.

Walwyn's Castle (Welsh: Castell Gwalchmai) is a village, parish and community in the county of Pembrokeshire, Wales, and is 84 miles (135 km) from Cardiff and 213 miles (343 km) from London. In 2011 the community's population was 361.

Druidston is a hamlet within the community of Nolton and Roch on the St Brides Bay coast of Pembrokeshire, Wales. Druidston Cross is an eastern outlier of the hamlet. The coast is 1/2 mile to the west where cliffs up to 80m in height overlook a rocky shore platform and the sandy beach of Druidston Haven which is popular with swimmers and surfers. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path which has since 2012 formed a part of the longer Wales Coast Path passes north - south along the cliff tops. Malator is an innovative earth house which is built into the hillside overlooking the bay.

Hasguard is a parish northwest of the town of Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The name applies to several other locations: Upper and Middle Hasguard, Hasguard Hall (at SM850100), Little Hasguard (SM845108) and Hasguard Cross (SM849107), this last on the B4327 Haverfordwest to Dale road, and is a recorded historic place name by the Royal Commission.

Nolton and Roch (Welsh: Nolton a'r Garn) is a community in the Hundred of Roose, Pembrokeshire, Wales. The community consists essentially of the villages of Nolton and Roch and a number of hamlets including Cuffern and Druidston. The western part of the community is in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Its population (2001) was 746, increasing to 825 at the 2011 census.

Herbrandston is a village, parish and community on the north side of the River Cleddau, in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is located to the west of Milford Haven and Hakin and east of St Ishmael's. Before 1960 and the building of the ESSO oil refinery, the village only had a population of 200; as infrastructure grew, so did the population. The size of the village increased within a matter of years, as housing estates associated with the refinery were built. The village has a population of 397, 15 per cent of which is Welsh-speaking.

Milford Haven Refinery was an oil refinery situated on the Pembrokeshire coast in Wales, United Kingdom. The refinery began operating in 1973 under Amoco's ownership, but in its final years it was owned by Murco Petroleum. The closure of the refinery was announced in November 2014. The site was sold to Puma Energy in 2015 for use as a petroleum storage and distribution terminal.

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park (Welsh: Parc Cenedlaethol Arfordir Penfro) is a national park along the Pembrokeshire coast in west Wales. It was established as a National Park in 1952. It is one of the three National parks of Wales, the others being the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) and Snowdonia (Eryri). It is the only national park in the United Kingdom to consist largely of coastal landscapes.

Tiers Cross is a village, community and electoral ward containing the community in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. It includes the areas of Thornton and Dreenhill, and falls within Steynton parish.

South Hook LNG terminal is an LNG regasification terminal near Milford Haven and is the largest LNG terminal in Europe. Together with the smaller Dragon LNG terminal nearby, it can handle up to 25% of the UK's gas requirement. The first tanker docked on 20 March 2009.

The Pembrokeshire Motor Museum used to exhibit a range of restored vintage cars. It was located at Simpson Cross, in Pembrokeshire, West Wales on the A487 road, about 4 miles (6.4 km) from Haverfordwest. The museum displayed over 40 vehicles covering the history of the motor car. The privately owned museum included displays of model vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, signs and other ephemera, a dining area and bar, video and magazine lounge and a play area for young people.
