Bridgeport Charter Township is a charter township of Saginaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 10,104 at the 2020 census.

Bridgeport is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Saginaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The CDP had a population of 6,571 at the 2020 census. The community is located within Bridgeport Township. As an unincorporated community, Bridgeport has no legal autonomy of its own but does have its own post office with the 48722 ZIP Code.

The Bridgeport-Spaulding Community School District is a school district headquartered in the Educational Services Center in Bridgeport, a community in Bridgeport Charter Township, Michigan.It is a part of the Saginaw Intermediate School District and serves Bridgeport and portions of Buena Vista south of Hess Avenue.In 2013 the Buena Vista School District closed. The Bridgeport-Spaulding Community School District took property of Buena Vista west of Airport and south of Hess as well as areas south of East Holland Road between Airport and Towerline. 135 ex-Buena Vista students were expected to go to Bridgeport-Spaulding. Ultimately 135 former Buena Vista students entered Bridgeport-Spaulding schools in fall 2013.

The Bugai Site, designated 20SA215, is an archaeological site located near Bridgeport, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.The site was a burial location dating from the Middle Woodland period.In 1970, workers encountered human remains while excavating sand from private property at this site. Amateur archaeologists Leo Purple and Arthur Graves conducted a salvage excavation at the site later that year, and recovered remains of at least 20 individuals. The majority of the burials were bundle burials, containing multiple objects. Purple and Graves donated some of the items to the University of Michigan Museum of Anthropological Archaeology (UMMAA) in 1976, and some to the Chippewa Nature Center in Midland, MI in 1974. In 2006, the Nature Center donated human remains and objects from the Bugai site to the UMMAA.

The Schmidt Site, also designated 20SA192, is an archaeological site located just south of the Cass River near Bridgeport, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Buena Vista High School was a public high school located at 3945 East Holland in Buena Vista Charter Township, Michigan and was part of the former Buena Vista School District. The school was closed when the Buena Vista School District was dissolved in July 2013. Buena Vista's mascot was the Knights, and its colors were blue and white. The school's athletic program competed in the Greater Thumb Conference as a Class C, and later in the Highland Conference as a Class D school.

The Saginaw County Fairgrounds Main Gate is the entry gate to the former Saginaw County Fairgrounds, located at 2701 East Genesee Avenue in Saginaw, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Fort Saginaw Mall was an enclosed shopping mall located in Buena Vista Township, just outside the city of Saginaw, Michigan, United States. Opened in 1966, the mall served as Saginaw's only enclosed mall until Fashion Square Mall opened on the other end of town in 1972. Fort Saginaw Mall had become a dead mall by the 1980s, as many of its stores had closed. By the end of the 1990s, the entire mall was closed off, except for an attached Kmart which remained open until May 2004. The vacant mall was owned by Cafaro Company of Youngstown, Ohio long after its closure. Although the community had made plans to demolish it, Cafaro initially refused to sell to the charter township. However, in April 2008, the township has claimed title to the abandoned building, and announced plans to redevelop it.

Buena Vista School District was a school district headquartered in Buena Vista Charter Township, Michigan, and part of the Saginaw Intermediate School District (Saginaw ISD). As of July 2013, the school district closed and became a tax-collecting district of the Saginaw ISD to pay the district's outstanding debts.

Buena Vista ( BEW-nə-VIS-tə) is an unincorporated community and census-designated place within Buena Vista Charter Township, Saginaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The U.S. Census Bureau has defined a census-designated place (CDP) with the same name for statistical purposes. The CDP has no official status as a municipality and the boundaries defined by the Census Bureau may not precisely correspond to local understanding of the Buena Vista area. The CDP consists of an area adjacent to the city of Saginaw on its east side and mostly east of Interstate 75. The population was 7,845 at the 2000 census.
