The Hartley Building is a historic office building in Duluth, Minnesota, United States. It was designed by architect Bertram Goodhue of New York City and built in 1914. The Hartley Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 for having local significance in the theme of architecture. It was nominated for its exemplary Tudor Revival architecture and its status as one of four local buildings designed by Goodhue, the only nationally recognized architect to produce multiple commissions in early Duluth.Goodhue's other Duluth works are the Kitchi Gammi Club (1912), St. Paul's Episcopal Church (1912), and the Cavour Hartley House (1915).

The Bergetta Moe Bakery is a historic commercial building in Duluth, Minnesota, United States. Constructed around 1875, it is one of Duluth's oldest standing buildings. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 for its local significance in the theme of architecture. It was nominated for exemplifying the simple wood-frame, gabled style that characterized Duluth's first-generation architecture.

Fitger's Brewing Company was a beer manufacturer in Duluth, Minnesota, United States, from 1881 to 1972. The surviving brewery complex stretches for 720 feet (220 m) along the Lake Superior shoreline and East Superior Street, one of Duluth's main roads. The majority of the ten-building complex was constructed between 1886 and 1911. Fitger's, as it is now known, has undergone adaptive reuse as an indoor mall with shops, restaurants, nightclubs, a hotel, and a museum on the brewery's history.Fitger's Brewing Company grew directly out of a brewery established in 1859, making it the first commercial brewery at the head of Lake Superior and the oldest continuously operating brewery in the state of Minnesota until going out of business in 1972. Fitger's was a major local employer, producing 100,000 barrels of beer annually. It stayed open during Prohibition by diversifying into soda and candy bar production.

The Duluth Amphitheater in Duluth, Minnesota was an indoor, artificial ice rink. The venue was one of the first two artificial rinks in Minnesota (the other being the Minneapolis Arena) and hosted a variety of games in the Duluth area.

It was nominated as one of Duluth's outstanding examples of a Romanesque Revival rowhouse.Chester Terrace was built using brick and brownstone. The design features towers, turrets, gables, and finials. The building is named after Chester Creek, which flows into Lake Superior near the building.

Whole Foods Co-op is a food cooperative located in Duluth, Minnesota. Founded in 1970 by the members of a food buying club, the grocery is owned by over 10,000 active owners and is a member of the National Cooperative Grocers Association.

The Duluth Curling and Skating Club in Duluth, Minnesota was an indoor venue, with several surfaces for athletic pursuits. The building was the home of the Duluth Curling Club for over 60 years and also served as the primary ice hockey rink in the region after the demolition of the Duluth Amphitheater.

The Duluth Armory is a former armory and event venue in the East Hillside neighborhood of Duluth, Minnesota, United States. It was built in 1915 for the National Guard and naval militia, and expanded in 1941. From the beginning the National Guard also rented out the drill hall as an event venue, as it provided a larger and more flexible space than any other local venue until the construction of the Duluth Arena-Auditorium in 1966.In 1978, it was purchased by the city and its use as an armory was discontinued. Since 2000, the armory has been threatened with demolition, though efforts are ongoing to renovate the building. Since 2004 a non-profit organization called the Armory Arts and Music Center has been working to rehabilitate the building as a cultural venue.The Duluth Armory was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011 for its state-level significance in the theme of military history and local significance in the theme of entertainment/recreation. It was nominated for its role as the home base of a critical port's peacekeeping and disaster response forces, and for being Duluth's largest cultural event venue until 1966.

The NorShor Theatre is an entertainment venue in downtown Duluth, Minnesota, and was formerly a movie palace and Opera House. It occupies a prominent place along Superior Street, and underwent a massive renovation effort by the City of Duluth. The NorShor played a significant role in the artistic history of Duluth, and is generally considered a landmark.

Adas Israel Congregation (or Adath Israel Congregation, but known locally as the 3rd Street Shul) was a Modern Orthodox Jewish synagogue located in Duluth, Minnesota, established in the late 19th century. Until its destruction by arson on September 9, 2019, it was the oldest surviving Orthodox synagogue in Duluth having outlived and incorporated several Orthodox synagogues in the Twin Ports area. By 1973, it was the only Orthodox synagogue in Duluth.It could also be described as a Jewish "traditionalist" congregation because in official communal guidelines it is officially described as "an Orthodox/high Conservative congregation" meaning that its members are composed of some Orthodox Jews as well as those who practice an older form of traditional Judaism. It is described as having a membership of 75. Services are lay-led with daily minyans, Saturday morning and holiday services.On September 9, 2019, the 3rd Street synagogue was destroyed by a fire that was caused by arson.
