Taymouth Township is a civil township of Saginaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,520 at the 2010 Census.

Burt is a census-designated place (CDP) and Unincorporated community for statistical purposes in Taymouth Township, Saginaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The CDP's population was 1,122 at the 2000 census. Burt is also the name of a post office with ZIP code 48417, which includes the area of the CDP as well as portions of Taymouth Township to the north of the CDP and the eastern part of Albee Township and a small area of southeastern Spaulding Township. The town is named for Wellington R. Burt.

Birch Run High School is a public high school located at 12450 Church Street in Birch Run, Michigan and part of the Birch Run Area Schools district. Birch Run's mascot is the panther, and its colors are blue and gold. The school is a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) and the Mid-Michigan Activities Conference (MMAC). Birch Run entered the MMAC at the start of the 2024-25 school year after spending decades in the Tri-Valley Conference as an original, founding member. Its team sports include baseball, basketball, bowling, cheerleading, cross country running, football, golf, powerlifting, soccer, softball, track and field, volleyball, wrestling.

Birch Run Area Schools is a school district headquartered in Birch Run, Michigan. It is a part of the Saginaw Intermediate School District and serves the Birch Run area, including the village of Birch Run, Taymouth Township, part of Vienna Township and all but the northeastern sections of Birch Run Township.

The Frankenmuth Credit Union Event Center (formerly Birch Run Expo Center) was a 2,500 seat multi-purpose arena in Birch Run, Michigan. However, it was sold to Camping World in November 2020 and is now one of their largest showrooms. Prior to 2002, it was the first NHL Skate center. Due to lack of interest, it was converted into an events center. It was also the home of the Great Lakes Storm from 2002 to 2005. Prior to being sold in 2020, it was operated by Oak View Group Facilities and used for trade shows, conventions and other events, such as gun and knife shows and music festivals.

The Fosters Site, designated 20SA74, is an archaeological site located near Bridgeport, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.Fosters Site, located beside the Flint River, is the site of a village dating from the Late Woodland period. The village was likely seasonally occupied in the fall and winter. It was excavated in 1967 by researchers from the University of Michigan Museum of Archaeology, who found ceramic shards, triangular weapon points, and fish and plant remains.

Birch Run Premium Outlets is an outlet mall in Birch Run, Michigan. The largest outlet mall in the Midwestern United States, it opened in 1986. It is managed by Premium Outlets, a division of Simon Property Group. The Birch Run Premium Outlets are located approximately halfway between Saginaw and Flint.

Birch Run Speedway and Event Center, until 2017 known as Dixie Motor Speedway, is a 4/10 (.400) mile, progressively banked, D-shaped oval short track, with an adjoining 1/3 (.333) mile as well as a Figure 8 course located near Birch Run, Michigan. The speedway changed its name from Dixie Speedway to Birch Run Speedway in 2017.

The Bugai Site, designated 20SA215, is an archaeological site located near Bridgeport, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.The site was a burial location dating from the Middle Woodland period.In 1970, workers encountered human remains while excavating sand from private property at this site. Amateur archaeologists Leo Purple and Arthur Graves conducted a salvage excavation at the site later that year, and recovered remains of at least 20 individuals. The majority of the burials were bundle burials, containing multiple objects. Purple and Graves donated some of the items to the University of Michigan Museum of Anthropological Archaeology (UMMAA) in 1976, and some to the Chippewa Nature Center in Midland, MI in 1974. In 2006, the Nature Center donated human remains and objects from the Bugai site to the UMMAA.

Birch Run Township is a civil township of Saginaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 Census, the township population was 5,888. The village of Birch Run is located within the township.

West Vienna United Methodist Church was a historic church located at 5461 Wilson Road in Clio, Michigan, USA. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and has apparently been demolished.
