Attleboro is a city in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. It was once known as "The Jewelry Capital of the World" for its many jewelry manufacturers. According to the 2020 census, Attleboro had a population of 46,461.

The Bungay River is a short river in southeastern Massachusetts that is a tributary of the Ten Mile River. The Bungay River begins in Witch Pond in Foxborough, Massachusetts at an altitude of about 157 feet (48 m) above sea level. It flows south through Greenwood Lake and through North Attleboro and Attleboro. It enters the Ten Mile River in Attleboro and ultimately empties into Narragansett Bay. It is 7.2 miles (11.6 km) long.According to published judgments by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Environmental Affairs, the river flows through the best red maple swamp in Massachusetts and provides some of the best canoeing across the state. It and surrounding wetlands are under study as wildlife preservation areas.

The Lawrence O. Poncin is a United States Army Reserve facility located in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

The Capron Park Zoo is a small 8-acre (3.2 ha) zoo that opened in 1937 in Attleboro, Massachusetts, United States. It is home to about 100 animals representing 44 species, Capron Park Zoo is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and Association of Zoo and Aquarium Docents (AZAD). It participates in the Species Survival Plan program.

Attleboro High School is a public high school located in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The school is located at 1 Blue Pride Way. The school has an approximate student enrollment of 1,750 students in grades 9–12. The school's mascot is the Bombardiers known formally as (The Blue Bombardiers) and the school colors are Royal Blue, Silver, and White. The district recently completed construction on a new $259.9 million, 475,000-square-foot building to replace the former building previously located at 100 Rathbun Willard Drive. As of November 17th, 2022, the "Blue Bombardiers" has been redesigned.

Peter Thacher Junior High School was a middle school located in Attleboro, Massachusetts originally serving grades 7 through 9. It was designed by The Architects' Collaborative with Walter Gropius, and it opened in 1948. The building itself is considered to be one of Gropius' notable works. It was also a school for grades 5–8. In the late 1990s it was converted to an elementary school, and remains as one currently, with grades pre-K through 4.

The Watson, Newell & Company Factory is a historic industrial complex at 67 Mechanic Street in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Built between 1889 and 1947, it is located on the site of the city's first textile mill, and was home to a prominent jewelry manufacturer for many years. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.

Attleboro station is a commuter rail station on the MBTA's Providence/Stoughton Line located in Attleboro, Massachusetts. By a 2018 count, Attleboro had 1,547 daily riders, making it the fourth busiest station on the system outside Boston.Attleboro has had railroad service to its downtown area continuously since 1835. The two-story northbound and southbound station buildings, now private businesses, were built during a grade crossing elimination project in 1906-1908 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. MBTA trains stop at platforms located slightly south of the historic buildings. Attleboro is an important transfer station for the Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority, with bus platforms at the adjacent Attleboro Intermodal Transportation Center.

The First Parsonage for Second East Parish Church was an historic church parsonage at 41 S. Main Street in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Built in 1822, it was a good local example of Federal period architecture. At the time of its listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, it was the oldest documented building in the town center. It was demolished in 1998.

The D. E. Makepeace Company is a historic industrial building at 46 Pine Street in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Built in 1899-1900, it is one of the city's best examples of a jewelry factory building of the period. The Makepeace Company was a major contributor to the city's reputation at the turn of the 20th century as America's jewelry capital. The building, now converted to residences, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Old Attleboro Post Office is a historic post office building at 75 Park Street in Attleboro, Massachusetts. It is a Classical Revival two story stone structure, faced in Indiana limestone, with granite steps leading to a monumental multi-column facade. The interior lobby features a patterned marble floor. The building was constructed in 1916 at a cost of $85,000. Today it is no longer a post office. Instead it is divided between the city of Attleboro and Bristol County, which use it as office space. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The East Attleborough Academy is an historic former school building at 28 Sanford Street in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Built in 1843, it is the town's only example of a Greek Revival temple front building. It originally served as a private academy, and has since served as the town's first high school, and as an office building. It is now home to the town's historical society. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
