Po Heung Estate

The Hong Kong Railway Museum is a railway museum in Tai Po, Hong Kong. It is now under the management of the Leisure and Cultural Service Department. Opened on 20 December 1985, it is located at the site where the old Tai Po Market railway station was built in 1913. Admission to the museum is free.

The Tai Po District Council (Chinese: 大埔區議會) is the district council for the Tai Po District in Hong Kong. It is one of 18 such councils. The Tai Po District Council currently consists of 22 members, of which the district is divided into two constituencies, electing a total of 4 members, 8 district committee members, 8 appointed members, and 2 ex officio members who are the Tai Po and Sai Kung North rural committee chairmen. The latest election was held on 10 December 2023.

Elegance Garden (Chinese: 富雅花園) is a Home Ownership Scheme and Private Sector Participation Scheme court in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong near Uptown Plaza, Wan Tau Tong Estate and MTR Tai Po Market station. It was jointly developed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority and Chevalier Group and has a total of four residential blocks built in 1990.

Tai Po District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. The suburban district covers the areas of Tai Po New Town (including areas such as Tai Po Market, Tai Po Old Market, Tai Po Industrial Estate, Tai Wo Estate), Tai Po Tau, Tai Po Kau, Hong Lok Yuen, Ting Kok, Plover Cove, Lam Tsuen Valley, Tai Mei Tuk and other surrounding areas, and its exclaves Sai Kung North, in the northern part of the Sai Kung Peninsula and including islands such as Grass Island (Tap Mun), and Ping Chau (Tung Ping Chau). Tai Po proper and Sai Kung North are divided by the Tolo Channel and the Tolo Harbour (Tai Po Hoi). The district is located in the Eastern New Territories. The de facto administrative centre of the district is Tai Po New Town. Like Yuen Long, the area of Tai Po used to be a traditional market town. Tai Po New Town, a satellite town, developed around the area of Tai Po and on reclaimed land on the estuaries of Lam Tsuen and Tai Po rivers. It had a population of 310,879 in 2001. The district has the third lowest population density in Hong Kong.

Law Ting Pong Secondary School (LTPSS) (Chinese: 羅定邦中學) is a co-educational EMI school located in Tai Po, Hong Kong. The school was founded in 1991 by Law's Foundation Limited and it actively promotes its aims and educational philosophy. The school successfully gained support and recognition from parents, as reflected by the number of elite students enrolled in the school. In order to further pursue the school's educational ideals, LTPSS will be operated under the Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) from the academic year 2008/09 onwards.

The Old Tai Po Police Station is a former Hong Kong police station at the top of Tai Po Wan Tau Tong Hill. It is located at No. 11 Wan Tau Kok Lane, Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong, near the Old District Office North.

American School Hong Kong (ASHK) is a co-educational American international school located at 6 Ma Chung Road, in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is owned and operated by Esol Education and enrolled its first students in August 2016. It offers classes in elementary, middle school and high school, through to Grade 12. Its Grade 9 class opens in August 2019, grade 10 opened in 2020 and grade 11 opened in 2021 with a new fifth floor.ASHK delivers an American education program, adapted for the local and international student body in Hong Kong.

SKH Bishop Mok Sau Tseng Secondary School (Traditional Chinese: 聖公會莫壽增會督中學) is a co-educational secondary school in Hong Kong, founded by a group of Christians in 1975, named after the Bishop Mok Sau Tseng of Anglican Church in China (Chung Hua Sheng Kung Hui). The school campus is located on Wan Tau Kok Hill in Tai Po, near Tai Po Market station.

Wan Tau Tong Estate (Chinese: 運頭塘邨) is a public housing estate in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is the second last public housing estate in Tai Po, but it is not built on the reclaimed land. The estate consists of 3 residential buildings completed in 1991. Some of the flats were sold to tenants through Phase 1 of the Tenants Purchase Scheme in 1998.Yat Nga Court (逸雅苑), Tak Nga Court (德雅苑) and King Nga Court (景雅苑) are Home Ownership Scheme housing courts in Tai Po near Wan Tau Tong Estate, built between 1991 and 1992.

Tai Po is an area in the New Territories of Hong Kong. It refers to the vicinity of the traditional market towns in the area presently known as Tai Po Old Market or Tai Po Kau Hui (大埔舊墟) (the original "Tai Po Market") on the north of Lam Tsuen River and the Tai Po Hui (the current Tai Po Market; historically Tai Wo Shi, literally Tai Wo market) on Fu Shin Street on the south of the Lam Tsuen River, near the old Tai Po Market railway station of the Kowloon-Canton Railway (British Section). Both market towns became part of the Tai Po New Town in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In present-day usage, "Tai Po" may refer to the area around the original market towns, the Tai Po New Town (Chinese: 大埔市), or the entire Tai Po District.

It is one of the public housing estates in Tai Po that is not built on the reclaimed land. The estate consists of nine residential buildings completed in 1989. Some of the flats were sold to tenants through Tenants Purchase Scheme Phase 3 in 2000.Po Nga Court (寶雅苑) is a Home Ownership Scheme court in Tai Po, near Tai Wo Estate. It consists of three residential buildings built in 1989.
