Ganwick House

The Duke of York is a former coaching inn at Ganwick Corner on the section of the Great North Road now known as Barnet Road, between Chipping Barnet and Potters Bar in Hertfordshire, England. It is Grade II listed. The pub was licensed in 1752.

Bentley Heath is a hamlet in Hertfordshire, England, between Chipping Barnet and Potters Bar. It is on the north edge of the Wrotham Park estate with which it has traditionally been associated. Historically, it was in Middlesex. The hamlet contains a number of listed buildings: Almshouses Bentley Heath Farm House and barn Elm Farm House Holy Trinity, a private chapel for the Wrotham Park estate

Wrotham Park (pronounced , ROO-təm) is a neo-Palladian English country house in the parish of South Mimms, Hertfordshire. It lies south of the town of Potters Bar, 17 miles (27 km) from Hyde Park Corner in central London. The house was designed by Isaac Ware in 1754 for Admiral John Byng, the fourth son of Admiral George Byng, 1st Viscount Torrington, and remains in the family at the heart of a 2,500-acre (10 km2) estate. It is one of the largest private houses near London inside the M25 motorway. Its distinctive exterior has been used over 60 times as a filming location. The house is listed as a Grade II* building on the National Heritage List for England, and its landscaped park and gardens are Grade II listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

The Potters Bar Clinic is a mental health hospital in Hertfordshire, UK which has 23 acute beds. It is currently owned and run by Elysium Healthcare. The hospital had two wards, Ruby and Crystal originally for men and women respectively. Since then the hospital has been providing CAMHS Tier 4 Low Secure services for young people aged 13 to 18 on 2 mixed gender wards, Opal and Jasper. The hospital was rated an overall Good by CQC in 2019 but the CQC expressed "serious concerns" about the standard of care. There is a school on the premises called the Potters Bar Clinic School with capacity for 30 pupils. The school was last inspected in December 2020. This hospital has featured in the Mirror newspaper and, separately, in the Telegraph for poor practises and other failings. Among the numerous mental health hospitals run by Elysium Healthcare is the Rhodes Wood Hospital which is not far from the Potters Bar Clinic and patients are sometimes moved between the two locations.

The Potters Bar Old Baptist Church, as it is now known, is a former church in Hertfordshire, England. It was designed by W. Allen Dixon in 1868. Dixon specialised in church architecture and Baptist churches in particular. The church replaced an earlier Baptist Church of 1789. It was registered for worship by the Particular Baptists and extended in 1884. The church was damaged by a German V2 missile in 1945. The building is now used as a church hall and a new Baptist church has been built alongside.

Mutton Lane Cemetery, officially known as St Mary's Cemetery, is a cemetery in Mutton Lane, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, that is associated with nearby St Mary the Virgin and All Saints church. The cemetery includes a garden of remembrance for prisoners of war.

Hadley Wood railway station is in the London Borough of Enfield in north London, England. It is 10 miles 46 chains (17.0 km) down the line from London King's Cross, in Travelcard Zone 6, and serves the suburb of Hadley Wood; it is managed and served by Great Northern. The station has four platforms, but only the outer ones are in everyday use, with Great Northern services stopping there. Fast services use the central tracks and do not stop at the station. Parts of the inner platforms have recently been resurfaced, although they are only used in emergency.

Potters Bar Urban District was a local government district in England from 1894 to 1974, covering the town of Potters Bar and the village of South Mimms. The district was initially called the South Mimms Rural District, being renamed in 1934. Potters Bar Urban District was transferred from Middlesex to Hertfordshire in 1965, and abolished in 1974 to become part of Hertsmere.

The Lion is a former public house on the corner of Barnet Road and Southgate Road in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, England, and a grade II listed building with Historic England. It became Potty Pancakes some time after 2008.

Mount House School is an independent day school for pupils from 11 to 18. The school is co-educational and is situated in Monken Hadley, in the London Borough of Barnet. It was previously the Architectural Association School between 1940-45; and then St Martha’s Catholic School for Girls was founded in 1947 at Mount House from the mid-20th Century until 2017. In September 2017 the school became co-educational and the first intake of boys was accepted into Year 7 and the Sixth Form.

The White Horse, now known as The Cask and Stillage, is a public house in High Street, Potters Bar, England, and a grade II listed building with Historic England.

Mount House, Camlet Way, Monken Hadley, in the London Borough of Barnet, is a grade II* listed house. The attached stable block is also listed.
