The Saginaw Armory is a former National Guard installation located at 234 South Water Street in Saginaw, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The Saginaw News Building is an office building located at 203 South Washington Avenue in Saginaw, Michigan, formerly the headquarters of The Saginaw News. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

The East Saginaw Historic Business District is a primarily commercial historic district located in Saginaw, Michigan and roughly bounded by Federal, North Water, North Washington and North Franklin Streets. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Temple Theatre is a historic theater, located on the banks of the Saginaw River in Saginaw, Michigan. The Temple was built in 1927 for the Elf Khurafeh Shriners, and operated for 50 years by W. S. Butterfield Theatres. The theatre complex also contains the former clubhouse of the Elf Khurafeh Shrine, now in use as event space. The 1,750-seat Temple Theatre, nicknamed the "Showplace of Northeastern Michigan," is the home of multiple Saginaw-based arts organizations, including the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra and the Saginaw Choral Society. The Temple also regularly presents film screenings and national touring shows.

The Hoyt Library is a historic library in downtown Saginaw, Michigan, United States. Built in the late 19th century by Eric Pinchet, the Richardson Romanesque library is home to numerous genealogical records of the Mid-Michigan area.

The Bearinger Building is a commercial building located at 124 North Franklin Street in Saginaw, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Castle Museum, previously known as Castle Station or Saginaw Post Office, in Saginaw, Michigan, United States is a historic structure on the National Register of Historic Places. It is currently the home of the Historical Society of Saginaw County and officially known as the Castle Museum of Saginaw County History.

Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy, or SASA, is a public, magnet high school and middle school in Saginaw, Michigan. From its founding in the early 1980s until 1999, it was known as the Center for the Arts & Sciences (CAS). During this period, it was a half-day school utilizing a concentration, or major, program to allow students to focus on specialized areas of study, while spending the other half of the day at their home school. In 1999, the name was changed, and SASA became a full day school, allowing students to take other required classes in addition to their concentration.

The School District of the City of Saginaw, known also as the Saginaw Public School District (SPSD) or Saginaw Public Schools, is a school district in Saginaw, Michigan. The district is a part of the Saginaw Intermediate School District, and serves the cities of Saginaw, Buena Vista, and Zilwaukee, the eastern part of Kochville Township, and portions of Buena Vista Township north of Hess Avenue.

The Cathedral of Mary the Assumption, also known as St. Mary's Cathedral, is a Catholic cathedral and parish church located in Saginaw, Michigan, United States. It is the seat of the Diocese of Saginaw. In 1979 it was included as a contributing property in the Saginaw Central City Historic Residential District on the National Register of Historic Places.

Dow Event Center (formerly known as Saginaw County Event Center and Saginaw Civic Center) is an indoor arena located in Saginaw, Michigan. The center consists of several parts: The Atrium, The Garden Room, The Theater, The Red Room, Huntington Event Park, and The Arena. It currently houses the Ontario Hockey League's Saginaw Spirit. The facility has housed a number of hockey teams in the past, such as the Saginaw Lumber Kings and both the IHL and UHL incarnations of the Saginaw Gears. The Arena At The Dow Event Center has a capacity of 7,600 people for concerts (without the ice), and 5,500 for hockey games. The Theater at the Dow Event Center has a capacity of 2,276 people. Originally built in 1972 as part of an urban development program, the center is the only structure left. Most of the other buildings were razed in the 1980s due to many problems, including health risks, foreclosure and bankruptcy. For a time in the 1990s, the facility nearly faced foreclosure and bankruptcy due to lack of funds provided by the city. The facility underwent a series of renovations in early 2000s, mainly in hopes for a better facility to host their newly acquired hockey team. The naming rights of the facility were transferred in September 2004 to The Dow Chemical Company, headquartered in nearby Midland. The center was used two times during the summer of 2004 as a center for Republican political rallies in support for the re-election of U.S. President George W. Bush. Voters transferred the ownership from the City of Saginaw to Saginaw County on May 8, 2001. The city then closed the facility on June 30, 2001, and the county reopened it on July 1. The county then appointed SMG Worldwide to manage the facility, and started updating and renovating the building. The total cost of the renovations was tagged at $17 million, and they were completed in 2003. The center hosts many events, concerts, political rallies, and graduations. Trade shows also take place there; the complex has 25,000 square feet (2,300 m2) of space at Wendler Arena. It hosted the third WWF In Your House pay-per-view on September 24, 1995. Jehovah's Witnesses District Conventions are held annually at the Dow Event Center. Starting in mid-June, and ending in early July, three-day conventions held on every weekend in that time will occur. The Jehovah's Witnesses first started using the building in 2005, after rumors of demolition for the Pontiac Silverdome raised concern over where meetings would be held, as the Silverdome was the previous venue.

The Diocese of Saginaw (Latin: Dioecesis Saginavensis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in Michigan in the United States. It is a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Detroit. The Diocese of Saginaw was founded on February 26, 1938. The mother church of the diocese is Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw.
