George Hotel is a heritage-listed former hotel at 631 George Street, Sydney, Australia. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

St Peter Julian's Church is a Roman Catholic church and shrine of eucharistic adoration in Sydney in the care of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament. The church is located at 641 George Street, Haymarket, in the heart of Chinatown. Designed by Terence Daly, it was completed in early 1964, it is named after the congregation's founder, St Peter Julian Eymard, who was canonised in 1962. A religious community of priests and brothers (currently under the leadership of Fr Joe Fernando SSS]) live in the monastery attached to St Peter Julian's Church.

Chinatown (Chinese: 悉尼唐人街; pinyin: xīní tángrénjiē; Jyutping: sik1nei4 tong4jan4gai1) is an urban enclave situated in the southern part of the Sydney Central Business District, in New South Wales, Australia. It comprises the majority of the Haymarket suburb, between Central station and Darling Harbour. It is part of the local government area of the City of Sydney, and is Australia's largest Chinatown.Sydney, and the colony of New South Wales experienced, Chinese migration as early as 1828. The first group of Chinese labourers from Amoy (modern day Xiamen) embarked for New South Wales in 1848. With the discovery of gold in 1851 Chinese immigration increased, and by 1855 the number of Chinese immigrants reached around 17,000. The Chinese population had traditionally been represented by those who came from Southern China (i.e. provinces such as Guangdong and Fujian), due to the majority of colonial ports being located in the southern coast of China.

Barry was a comedy digital radio station broadcasting to the five mainland state capital cities in Australia. The station is owned by Austereo and was the second permanent digital-only station the company has launched, alongside Radar Radio. The station was launched on 16 July 2010. It ceased operation in June 2012.

William Blue College of Hospitality Management is an Australian private hospitality college that offers both tertiary education and vocational education and training. The college is a part of an education provider Torrens University Australia, itself part of the Strategic Education, Inc. group. Other Torrens University colleges include: Billy Blue College of Design, CATC Design School, APM College of Business and Communication, Southern School of Natural Therapies, Australian National College of Beauty, Australasian College of Natural Therapies and Jansen Newman Institute. Paddy's Markets is a commercial enterprise that has two large markets in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Paddy's Markets are located in Haymarket and Flemington and specialise in the sale of fruit, vegetables, fish, clothes and giftware. Both markets are operated by Sydney Markets Limited, along with the rest of Sydney Markets located at Flemington. The Flemington Paddy's Market is the larger site and specialises in fruit and vegetable sales. The market is the primary delivery service of these products for Sydney. The market has a wholesale sales section that caters to larger business and general sales to the public at the Paddy's Markets. Sydney Markets is the central marketplace for Sydney's farmers to sell their fresh produce, and includes Sydney Flower Market, the central provider of flowers to NSW and ACT florists. On weekends, Paddy's Markets feature clothes, gifts and souvenirs. There is also Paddy's Swap and Sell Market, where vendors set up a sales stand selling a range of secondhand goods. The Haymarket Paddy's Markets is allocated in Haymarket, beside Chinatown and is more like a traditional flea market, specialising in cheap imported clothes, giftware and also has a small section for fresh fruit, vegetables and seafood. The Haymarket Paddy's Markets site also sells souvenirs which makes it popular with tourists.

The Sydney Trades Hall is a heritage-listed trade union building located at 4-10 Goulburn Street in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by John Smedley, with later additions Spain and Cosh and Minnett and built from 1888 to 1916. It is also known as Trades Hall Building. The building was built and owned by the Trades Hall Association, the original trade union affiliates who built the hall in 1888, and is now owned by Unions NSW. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Roden Cutler House is a skyscraper in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It consists of 19 floors primarily office/commercial space. Construction finished in 1975 and it is located at 24 Campbell Street, Sydney. The Antenna height is 112m and the structure height is 108m. The building is owned by Ausgrid and the lower floors house the City South substation. The building is named after Sir Roden Cutler, the longest-serving Governor of New South Wales and a Victoria Cross recipient. Roden Cutler won the Victoria Cross in the 1941 Syrian campaign where he was wounded, requiring the amputation of a leg.[1]

The John Bridge Woolstore is a heritage-listed former warehouse located at 64 Harbour Street, in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area. It was probably designed by either William Pritchard or his son Arthur Pritchard, and was built by Stuart Bros. in 1889. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art, formerly known as Gallery 4A, 4A Galleries, Asia-Australia Arts Centre and also known simply as 4A, is an Australian independent not-for-profit organisation based in the Haymarket area of Sydney, New South Wales. It commissions, exhibits, documents and researches Asian and Asian-Australian contemporary art in Australia, and promotes Australian talent in Asia, promoting and maintaining cultural connections between the nation and the region. The gallery and the associated Performance 4A (for the performing arts) were founded by the Asian Australian Artists Association Inc. in 1997. The centre is funded mainly by Commonwealth, state and local government sources, but also by private sponsors and organisations, and generates its own income. It has partnered with the Sydney Biennale twice, as well as other organisations such as the Campbelltown Arts Centre to mount major exhibitions and events.

181-187 Hay Street,also known as the Corporation Building or Municipal Building, is a heritage-listed former council chambers located at 181-187 Hay Street, in the Haymarket district of Sydney, Australia. It was built from 1893. The property is owned by City of Sydney and was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. The building is home to the 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art.

World Square is a large shopping centre and urban development in the Sydney Central Business District.[1]It fills an entire Sydney city block, bounded by George, Liverpool, Pitt and Goulburn Streets, on what was a small hill called Brickfield Hill. World Square features a shopping centre, hotels, office buildings and residential apartment towers. Liverpool Lane, off Liverpool Street, is part of World Square and features restaurants, cafes and take away shops. It is also the home of Southern Cross Austereo's Sydney radio stations Triple M and 2Day FM.
