Brixham Harbour is a harbour and fishing port situated at Brixham, Devon, England. It is home to one of the largest fishing fleets in the United Kingdom.

A statue of William III, also known as the Prince of Orange statue, stands in Brixham, Devon, England. It commemorates the landing of William of Orange (later to become King William III of England) and his army at the town on 5 November 1688. The monument has been a Grade II listed building since 1949.

The Orange Way, so called because it follows the march in 1688 of Prince William of Orange and his army from Brixham to London, is a 350 miles (560 km) unofficial long-distance walk in England that passes through Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and London.

The British Seaman's Orphan Boys' Home was founded in Brixham on the Berry Head Road in 1863 by William Gibbs of Tyntesfield for the orphan sons of deceased British seamen. He died in 1875 and his widow conveyed the Home upon trust to the Bishop of Exeter, with the object of providing for the orphan sons of British seamen. It was closed in 1988 after 125 years. It was famous for its bugle and drum marching band which could be seen marching from the home to All Saints' Church most Sundays. Many hundreds of boys have passed through the Home and have been given a good start in life which they otherwise would have not had – most went on to join the Royal Navy. Some boys, in later life, spoke about the brutality of aspects of the orphanage, including physical violence and lack of affection or warmth . Life was very regimented for already traumatised children in the early part of the twentieth century.

Brixham railway station was a railway station on the Torbay and Brixham Line, serving the town of Brixham, in Devon. The station opened in 1868 and closed in 1963. The station was subsequently demolished and the site was developed as a housing estate.

Brixham College is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in Brixham in the English county of Devon.Previously a foundation school administered by Torbay Council, Brixham College was converted to academy status on 1 January 2012. However the school continues to coordinate with Torbay Council for admissions. Brixham College offers GCSEs, BTECs and NVQs as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A-levels and OCR Nationals. The school was originally built for 750 students but because of the good image of the school, it has around 1200 students.

Windmill Hill Cavern (also called Windmill Hill Cave, the Brixham Cave, Brixham Bone Cavern and Philp's Cave) is a limestone cave system in the town of Brixham, Devon. It was discovered in 1858 and later excavated by a team led by the geologist William Pengelly, who found proof that humans co-existed with extinct British fauna.

Torbay Lifeboat Station is the base for Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) search and rescue operations at Brixham, Devon in England. Brixham Lifeboat Station was opened in 1866 but since 1924 has been known as 'Torbay'. Since 2005 it has operated a Severn-class all-weather lifeboat (ALB) together with a D-class (IB1) inshore lifeboat (ILB).

Brixham Town Hall is a municipal building in New Street, Brixham, Devon, England. The structure, which is the meeting place of Brixham Town Council, is a Grade II listed building.

Brixham Breakwater is a coastal breakwater situated at the town of Brixham in Devon, England. The breakwater provides shelter for vessels mooring at the port, including the historic Brixham fishing fleet. The building of the structure to its final length spanned several decades, with work beginning in 1843 to the design of the local civil engineer James Meadows Rendel and being completed in 1916, when the present cast-iron lighthouse was installed at the pier end.

Brixham is a fishing town and civil parish in the district of Torbay in the county of Devon, in the south-west of England. Brixham is at the southern end of Torbay, across the bay (Tor Bay) from Torquay, and fishing and tourism are the major industries of the town. At the time of the 2011 census it had a population of 16,693.It is thought that the name 'Brixham' came from Brioc's village. 'Brioc' was an old English or Brythonic personal name and '-ham' is an ancient term for home derived from Old English. The town is hilly and built around the harbour which remains in use as a dock for fishing trawlers. It has a focal tourist attraction in the replica of Sir Francis Drake's ship Golden Hind that is permanently moored there. Historically, Brixham was two separate communities with only a marshy lane to connect them. Cowtown was the area on top of the hill where the farmers lived, while a mile away around the harbour was Fishtown where the fishermen and seamen lived. Cowtown, the St Mary's Square area, is on the road leaving Brixham to the south west, in the direction of Kingswear, upon which stands a church built on the site of a Saxon original. The town holds a yearly pirate event which competes for the title of most pirates in one place and this draws visitors from far and wide. King William III landed in England at Brixham on 5 November 1688 on his way to become king as part of the Glorious Revolution.
