Chipstead Downs is a 157.8-hectare (390-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south-east of Banstead in Surrey, England. Part of it is Park Downs, which is managed by the Banstead Commons Conservators.This site has ancient woodland and steeply sloping chalk grassland together with associated secondary woodland and scrub. A large part of the grassland is dominated by tor-grass, but in some areas mowing and rabbit grazing have produced a rich chalk grassland flora including the endangered greater yellow-rattle. There are rich bird and butterfly fauna.Most of the site is public open space which is owned by Surrey County Council and managed by Reigate and Banstead Borough Council.

Shabden Park is a 103-hectare (250-acre) nature reserve in Chipstead in Surrey. It is owned by Surrey County Council and managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust and is part of the Chipstead Downs Site of Special Scientific Interest.This is a working farm which has wildflower meadows on chalk grassland together with areas of woodland. It has a nationally scarce species of mining bee and other fauna include Roesel's bush-cricket and a variety of birds and butterflies.There is access to footpaths through the farm only.

Chipstead railway station serves the village of Chipstead in Surrey. It is a late-Victorian station on the Tattenham Corner Line and was opened in 1897. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Southern. It is in Travelcard Zone 6, 18 miles 41 chains (29.8 km) from Charing Cross. The station buildings are no longer used by Southern, having been sold off and converted for private use in the mid-late 1990s, and a small ticket office is in a pre-fabricated building on the Up platform.

Chipstead Football Club is a football club based in Chipstead, near Banstead, in Surrey, England. Affiliated to the Surrey County Football Association, they are currently members of the Isthmian League South Central Division and play at High Road.

Tooting Bec Football Club is a football club based in Tooting Bec, Greater London, England. They are currently members of the Southern Counties East League Division One and groundshare at High Road, home of Chipstead FC.

The Recreation Ground is a cricket ground in Banstead, Surrey. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1955, when South Women Second XI played the Women's Cricket Association. It hosted its only first-class match in 1984, when Surrey played Cambridge University.Additionally, between 1983 and 2006, the ground played host to a number of Surrey Second XI matches in the Second XI Championship and Second XI Trophy, hosting a combined total of 20 Second XI matches.The ground has also hosted 2 Women's One Day International's. The first came in 1986 and was played between England women and India women. The second was played between England women and Denmark women in 1993 Women's Cricket World Cup.In local domestic cricket, the Recreation Ground is the home venue of Banstead Cricket Club who play in the Surrey Premier League. The original pavilion was constructed in the 1890s and still stands to this day, although a new pavilion was built in the 1970s.

Kingswood or Kingswood with Burgh Heath is a residential area on the North Downs in the Borough of Reigate and Banstead in Surrey, England. Part of the London commuter belt, Kingswood is just to the east of the A217 separating it from Tadworth and has a railway station. Burgh Heath in its north is combined with it to form a ward. Reigate is 3.6 miles (5.8 km) south of its centre and London is 15.5 miles (24.9 km) to the north northeast. Kingswood with Burgh Heath had a population of 6,891 in 2011.

Hooley is a village in the borough of Reigate and Banstead in Surrey, England. Within its small grid of streets is the 13th-century church of Chipstead which has been, since time immemorial, its ecclesiastical parish. Hooley is connected via paths and the A23 road to the larger community of Coulsdon, to the north, in the London Borough of Croydon.

Woodmansterne is a village in the borough of Reigate and Banstead, Surrey, bordering Greater London, England. It sits on a small plateau of and a southern down slope of the North Downs and its ecclesiastical parish borders continue to span old boundaries and reach into Chipstead, Coulsdon and Wallington.

Kingswood railway station serves Kingswood in the county of Surrey. It is a late-Victorian station on the Tattenham Corner Line, 20 miles 72 chains (33.6 km) from London Charing Cross. Train services and the station are operated by Southern. The station has a building on the up side only (platform 1), with just a metal shelter on the down side (platform 2). Part of the building is still used by Southern, with a large waiting area and ticket office on the ground floor, though this is only open during weekday morning peak travel. The upper floors and part of the ground floor are used as offices, the Tudor Business Centre. There is a small forecourt available for car parking on both sides of the station, cyclists are provided with a small shelter. The two platforms are connected by a new steel over bridge (which replaced the existing concrete bridge in early 2014). There is a self-serve ticket machine located on each platform and Oyster smart card readers are installed at the entrance/exits on both sides of the station.

Lower Kingswood is a village located in Surrey, just within the M25 motorway. It is between Kingswood and Reigate, and is bisected by the A217 dual carriageway. Neighbouring settlements include Tadworth and Reigate also Redhill.

Banstead is a town in the borough of Reigate and Banstead in Surrey, England. It is 3 miles (5 km) south of Sutton, 5 miles (8 km) south-west of Croydon, 8 miles (13 km) south-east of Kingston-upon-Thames, and 13 miles (21 km) south of Central London. On the North Downs, it is on three of the four main compass points separated from other settlements by open area buffers with Metropolitan Green Belt status. Banstead Downs, although a fragment of its larger historic area and spread between newer developments, is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The civil parish of Banstead became part of the Epsom Rural Sanitary District on the district's creation in 1872, and continued as part of its successor, the Epsom Rural District, from 1894 to 1933. In that year the Banstead Urban District was created incorporating also the parishes of Chipstead, Kingswood, Walton on the Hill, and Woodmansterne. The civil parish was abolished, like other parishes in former urban districts, when (under the Local Government Act 1972) the Banstead Urban District was subsumed into the new Reigate and Banstead Borough in 1974. Both parish and urban district included many outlying parts as well as the main settlement. One of the Banstead wards is "Banstead Village". The contiguous ward of Nork, which contains Banstead station, shares in many amenities of Banstead and is included in county-level population analyses of Banstead but not the central-government-drawn Banstead Built-up Area. The latter takes in Burgh Heath and held 15,469 residents as at the 2011 census.
