Lake Arpin is a small lake located in the Laurentian Mountains of Quebec, Canada. This is a non populated lake. The first house to be built close to the water was in 2005. Until this house was built, the only access point was Chemin du Sentier, an almost fully grown-in dirt road. A bridge now gives access from Chemin du Lac Arpin to a small river which connects to the lake. This lake is used in the summer months by a Jewish Hasidic community located across the street, the four families who have summer houses on the lake and the families who live on connecting lakes: lac Magnan and lac Papineau. The fish population in the lake includes perch, sun fish, cat fish and muskellunge.

Sainte Agathe Academy (SAA; French: Académie Sainte Agathe) is a public anglophone primary and secondary school in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec. It is operated by the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board. Congregation House of Israel (French: Congrégation Maison d'Israël, Hebrew: ק״ק בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל) is an Orthodox synagogue in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec, serving the Laurentian Jewish community. It was officially opened on 12 July 1953.The congregation is led by Rabbi Emanuel Carlebach, who assumed the role upon the passing of his father Rabbi Ephraim Carlebach in 1985. The House of Israel counts more than 1,500 families as members, mostly Montrealers with second homes in the Laurentians. The congregation also hosts a religious school and early learning centre.

Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts is a town in the province of Quebec, Canada, in the regional county municipality of Les Laurentides in the administrative region of Laurentides, also known as the "Laurentians" or the Laurentian Mountains (in English). Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts borders on a lake called Lac des Sables, and is located approximately 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Montreal, and 130 kilometres (81 mi) northeast of Ottawa. The town has been twinned with Lagny-sur-Marne, France since 1969 and Saranac Lake, New York since 2002.

Ivry-sur-le-Lac is a village and municipality in the Laurentides region of Quebec, Canada, part of the Les Laurentides Regional County Municipality. The municipality completely encompasses Lake Manitou which is a popular cottage vacation location. The village of Ivry-sur-le-Lac is located at the head of the north-east bay (Lacasse Bay), and the hamlet of Lac-Manitou-Sud is at the head of the south-east bay of Lake Manitou.

Camp Massad of Canada (Hebrew: מַחֲנֶה מַסָד, Maḥaneh Massad) is a Zionist Jewish summer camp in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec, with headquarters in Montreal. It was founded in 1947, with the creation of Massad Alef on Lac Quenouille in the Laurentian Mountains. At its peak Massad had nearly 400 campers.Camp Massad has a long tradition of Hebrew language immersion. It is shomer Shabbat and has a kosher kitchen under the supervision of the Montreal Va'ad Ha'ir. Massad attracts campers of various Jewish backgrounds from Montreal and other parts of Canada, various cities in the United States, Israel, and many other places throughout the world. Camp Massad is a member of the Foundation for Jewish Camp and the Ontario Camps Association.

Val-David is a village of more than 5,200 inhabitants in the Laurentian Mountains about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Attracting about 100,000 tourists a year, Val-David is predominantly francophone although it has a small anglophone minority. The village is famous for its delicious and diverse food scene as well for its artistic and hippie character. Many renowned and amateur artists, writers and dancers live and have lived in Val-David, notably Québécois poet Gaston Miron, jazz bassist Charlie Biddle, and singer-songwriter Alan Gerber. Val-David is also a centre for much outdoor recreational activity as its 2,000-acre (8.1 km2) Parc Dufresne is the most popular rock-climbing destination in eastern Canada. Also, the Parc Linéaire Le P'tit Train du Nord, a 200 kilometres (120 mi) bike trail, and groomed cross-country ski and snowshoe trails in Winter, run throughout the town's splendid nature.

Pripstein's Camp Mishmar (Hebrew: מַחֲנֶה מִשְׁמָר) was a private co-educational summer camp in St. Adolphe d'Howard, Quebec, which operated from 1941 to 2014. Though not strictly a Jewish summer camp, Mishmar predominantly catered to a middle- and upper-class Jewish clientele. In its seventy year history, the camp hosted a number of prominent future writers, businesspeople, and politicians.

Canadian Forces Station Lac St. Denis (also CFS Lac St. Denis) is a former Canadian Forces Station that was located by Lac St. Denis, 60 miles north of Montreal in the Laurentian Mountains.

Ski Chantecler is a ski resort in the Laurentides region of the Canadian province of Quebec, Canada. It is a few minutes away from the town of Sainte-Adèle and one hour north from Montreal. 8 of the 22 trails are lit for night skiing. (No more night skiing as of the 2023-2024 season) The average annual snowfall is 381 cm and snowmaking is 85% over the entire skiable area.
