McGill University Health Centre

Montreal Chest Institute is a health centre in Montreal specializing in respiratory medicine. It is affiliated with the Royal Victoria Hospital, and by extension, McGill University Health Centre. On June 14, 2015, the historic Institute moved into the new MUHC Glen Site.

The Shriners Hospital for Children – Canada (French: Hôpital Shriners pour enfants – Canada; also known informally as the Montreal Shriner's Hospital) is the Canadian branch of the Shriners Hospitals for Children network. It is located in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montreal, Quebec, at 1003 Decarie Boulevard. It overlooks downtown Montreal, and is close to Royal Victoria Hospital of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) hospital network, with which it is associated but not fully affiliated. The hospital was previously located at 1529 Cedar Avenue, which had outgrown its facilities, and since it was surrounded by Mount Royal Park, it could not expand in that location before being moved to the new location in 2015. The Shriner's Hospital for Children, along with McGill University was named number 1 in the world in expertise in Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) with researchers Frank Rauch ranked #1 and Francis H. Glorieux #3 in global expertise in Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI).

The Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) (French: Hôpital Royal Victoria), colloquially known as the "Royal Vic" or "The Vic", is a hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It forms the biggest base hospital of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), which is affiliated with McGill University. The hospital was established in 1893 and was based at Pine Avenue, now known as the Legacy site, until 2015, when major hospital operations were moved to the Glen site (1001 Décarie Boulevard), named for the former Glen railway yards. The future uses of the Legacy site are now under study and it seems likely that the site, which is adjacent to its main campus, will be taken over by McGill University.

Vendôme station is an intermodal transit station in the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, near the town of Westmount in the Westmount Adjacent area of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce that adjoins the Décarie Expressway. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Orange Line of the Montreal Metro. The station connects to Exo's commuter rail network by a pedestrian tunnel, permitting access to platforms providing service on the Vaudreuil-Hudson, Saint-Jérôme and Candiac lines.

The Westmount station (French: Gare de Westmount) is a disused railway station in the city of Westmount, Quebec, Canada. Its address is 4848 Saint Catherine Street West at the bottom of Victoria Avenue in the Victoria Village neighbourhood. It was designed for the Canadian Pacific Railway by the company architect, W.S. Painter, and was completed in 1907.

Turcot is a former village in the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. A road junction (the Turcot Interchange), a railway yard and a city park are also named Turcot, and a street is named rue Philippe-Turcot. The name comes from Philippe Turcot (1791-1861), a merchant and landowner, who sold building lots over the period 1847 to 1860 that became a village known as Turcot.

The Turcot Interchange is a three-level four-way freeway interchange within the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Located southwest of downtown, the interchange links Autoroutes 15 (Décarie and Décarie South Expressways) and 20 (Remembrance Highway), and Route 136 (Ville-Marie Expressway), and provides access to the Champlain Bridge via the Décarie South Expressway. It takes its name from the nearby Philippe-Turcot Street and Turcot village, which were in turn named after Philippe Turcot (1791-1861) who was a merchant owning land in Saint-Henri.Turcot is the largest interchange in the province and the third busiest interchange of Montreal (after Décarie and Anjou Interchanges, respectively) as of 2010, with numbers averaging a north-southbound flow of 278,000 approximate daily drivers, and over 350,000 west-eastbound in total. Moreover, Turcot is an occasional spot for road accidents, as speed is limited to only 70 km/h (43 mph) on any of the interchange's directions, and the limit is often disregarded by the night drivers going over 100 km/h (62 mph). The interchange underwent an extensive reconstruction commencing in 2015 which was completed by fall 2020. The $3.7-billion project is the largest roadwork in the province's history.

Victoria Village (French: Village Victoria) is a commercial and residential neighbourhood in the southwest corner of the city of Westmount, in Greater Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Victoria Village's commerce is centred along Sherbrooke Street and Victoria Avenue; some other businesses are located on Prince Albert Avenue, Claremont Avenue, and Somerville Avenue. The neighbourhood features a variety of businesses including restaurants, coffee shops, grocers, and clothing stores, many of which are independent. Some higher-end outlets are now also located in Victoria Village. Outdoor gear manufacturer Arc'teryx opened its first compact "Arc'type" location in Canada in the neighbourhood in 2021, followed by Canada's first Vilebrequin swimwear store in 2022.The Westmount Park and Public Library are located near Victoria Village to the east. On the west, the neighbourhood extends to the Montreal border, where it meets the district of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG). Le Sud-Ouest borders it to the south, beyond the former train station and across the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks. Vendôme station in NDG provides the Montreal Metro's closest access to the neighbourhood, and it is also connected to NDG and downtown by multiple Montreal bus routes including the 104 Cavendish and 105 Sherbrooke.

Westmount Park United Church is an historic church building in Westmount, Quebec. Located adjacent to Westmount Park on De Maisonneuve Boulevard West, the modern church is a member of the United Church of Canada. Membership is derived from four different historic Protestant congregations. The first tabernacle on the site was a Methodist wooden structure built in 1885 and replaced with brick in 1896. The current building was dedicated on April 30, 1930.The church under Rev. Neil Whitehouse has been noted for its commitment to the environment.

Oxford Park (French: Parc Oxford) is a park in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located in the southern part of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighbourhood in the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. While known informally as Oxford Park for many years, with activities operated by the Oxford Park Association, the City of Montreal formally named it the Georges-Saint-Pierre Park (French: Parc Georges-Saint-Pierre) during the 1990s in honour of the founder of the local Caisse Populaire Saint-Raymond, a community credit union. The park was made famous for its sporting tradition. Hockey greats as Doug Harvey, Howie Morenz, Kenny Mosdell and Fleming Mackell learned their crafts on the outdoor rink which was part of a larger neighbourhood house league, including such teams at Terrebonne Park, Benny Park, and Patricia Park. The park was also where boxing legend Johnny Greco played sports as a child. The park is bounded by Oxford, Upper Lachine, Old Orchard Avenue and Saint Jacques Street.The park was initially part of a farm owned by the Brodie clan, who bought the land after arriving from Scotland.After several generations the family sold to the city of Montreal in 1949 for $73,000 under the condition that the historic farmhouse would be turned into a library or facility for children. The city reneged on this clause and the stone building was demolished in the 1960s. The park was also home to a longstanding Italian Festival which was cancelled after the city added a controversial fenced-off plastic turf soccer field, which could get damaged during fireworks.

Westmount–Saint-Georges was a former provincial electoral district in the Montreal region of Quebec, Canada. It elected members to the Legislative Assembly of Quebec. It was created for the 1939 election from Westmount electoral district. Its final election was in 1962. It disappeared in the 1966 election and its successor electoral district was the re-created Westmount.
