The River Café (London)

Thames Wharf Studios, in Hammersmith, London, was originally an industrial site containing the Duckham's oil facility overlooking the River Thames in Hammersmith. It was acquired by the Richard Rogers Partnership in 1983, which converted the industrial complex of redundant 20th century warehouses into offices, workshops, housing and a restaurant.

The Harrods Furniture Depository buildings flank the south bank of the River Thames near Hammersmith Bridge in Barnes, London, built on the site of an old soap factory in 1894 as a storage centre for the larger items that could not be taken into Knightsbridge to the Harrods department store. The present salmon-pink terracotta-clad buildings date from 1914. The architect was W. G. Hunt.The buildings, which are Grade II listed, are no longer owned by Harrods but retain many of its original external features. In 2000 the conversion to a residential estate was completed, consisting of 250 townhouses and penthouse suites known as "Harrods Village". William Hunt Mansions, the main riverfront building, is a key marker post on the annual Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race between Putney Bridge and Chiswick Bridge.The buildings can be seen in the music video of the Verve's 1997 song Lucky Man, which were filmed opposite.

Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School existed as a legal entity for 13 years, as the midpoint of a series of mergers which strategically consolidated the many small medical schools in west London into one large institution under the aegis of Imperial College London. In 1984, Charing Cross Hospital Medical School and Westminster Hospital Medical School merged to form the Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. This move was part of a series of mergers in the London medical schools in the early 1980s, which foreshadowed the second, larger round of mergers in the late 1990s. Based at the Charing Cross Hospital site in Hammersmith and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in Chelsea, the new medical school took the form of its larger precursor (CXHMS) in using "X" as an abbreviation for "Cross". The medical school also maintained academic units at the university hospitals of Queen Mary's Roehampton, West Middlesex, Ashford and Hillingdon.In 1997, CXWMS merged with Imperial College, London (whose medical department was at St Mary's Hospital Medical School), The National Heart and Lung Institute and the Royal Postgraduate Medical School to form Imperial College School of Medicine.

Charing Cross Hospital Medical School (CXHMS) is the oldest of the constituent medical schools of Imperial College School of Medicine. Charing Cross remains a hospital on the forefront of medicine; in recent times pioneering the clinical use of CT scanning, reflective of its position as one of the most important neuroscience centres in London; and advances in oncology and chemotherapy. Students of the medical school have benefited from this expertise, with many taking a research interest in these areas during their training.

Fulham Hospital was an English hospital in the west London district of Fulham from 1884 to 1973. From 1957 onwards it was merged with the Charing Cross Hospital and gradually demolished. Charing Cross Hospital relocated from central London and now occupies the former Fulham Hospital site, south of St Dunstan's Road.

Charing Cross Hospital is an acute general teaching hospital located in Hammersmith, London, United Kingdom. The present hospital was opened in 1973, although it was originally established in 1818, approximately five miles east, in central London. It is part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and is a teaching hospital of the Imperial College School of Medicine. It is a tertiary referral centre for neurosurgery, and is a national centre of excellence for gestational trophoblastic disease. It currently houses the serious injuries centre for West London. In recent times, the hospital has pioneered the clinical use of CT scanning. The hospital is host to the West London Neuroscience Centre. In addition, a day surgery unit, the Riverside Wing, was recently added. The West London Mental Health NHS Trust also has buildings on site. The hospital hosts the largest and oldest gender identity clinic in the country, with 150 operations performed annually.

Riverside Studios is an arts centre on the banks of the River Thames in Hammersmith, London, England. The venue plays host to contemporary performance, film, visual art exhibitions and television production. Having closed for redevelopment in September 2014, Riverside Studios reopened in August 2019 with one of the first television broadcasts to come from Studio 1 at Riverside was the 2019 December UK election coverage on Channel 4.

Temple Lodge is a Grade II listed building at 51 Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith, London, W6 9QL.The house dates from the early 19th century. The attached studio to the right was created in about 1908 by the artist Frank Brangwyn.

Lillie Rec (proper name Lillie Road Recreational Ground), is a park located in London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, 0.8 mile (1.25 km) south of Hammersmith tube station, and at the junction of Lillie Road and Fulham Palace Road.

Hammersmith power station supplied electricity to the London Borough of Hammersmith from 1897 to 1965. It was owned and operated by the Vestry / Borough of Hammersmith until the nationalisation of the British electricity supply industry in 1948. The power station was frequently redeveloped with new plant over its operational life to meet increased demands for electricity. It was decommissioned in 1965.

The Hammersmith Apollo, currently called the Eventim Apollo for sponsorship reasons, but formerly (and still commonly) known as the Hammersmith Odeon, is a live entertainment performance venue, originally built as a cinema, located in Hammersmith, London. It is an art deco Grade II* listed building.The venue has hosted numerous concerts by major stars, including the Beatles, Queen, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Iron Maiden, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Marley, Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington amongst many others.
