The Güzelyalı railway station (Turkish: Güzelyalı istasyonu) is a railway station in Pendik, Istanbul, on the Marmaray line. It was a stop on the Haydarpaşa suburban commuter rail line until 2012. The original station had two side platforms with two tracks. The station was closed on 1 February 2012, when all train traffic between Pendik and Arifiye was temporarily suspended due to construction of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed railway. It was demolished shortly thereafter and a new station built in its place, consisting of an island platform serving two tracks, with a third express track on the south side. Güzelyalı Station opened in 12 March 2019 along with the entire Marmaray line.

Istanbul Naval Shipyard (Turkish: İstanbul Donanma Tersanesi), also known as Pendik Naval Shipyard, is a naval shipyard of the Turkish Navy on the northeastern coast of the Sea of Marmara in Tuzla, Istanbul, Turkey. It is the largest shipbuilding facility in Turkey.Right after the 1999 İzmit earthquake, which caused also heavy damage to the facilities of the Turkish Navy located in Gölcük, Kocaeli, the Navy Command decided to relocate the shipbuilding activities at the Gölcük Naval Shipyard to the Istanbul Naval Shipyard, leaving only the ship maintenance and reparation works there.The shipyard has one of the largest shipbuilding drydocks in the country, with the dimensions of 300 m × 50 m × 8.5 m (984 ft × 164 ft × 28 ft) (length x width x depth). The drydock is serviced by one Kone portal crane with the lifting capacity of 450 tons. In addition, the shipyard has a semi-drydock slipway with the dimensions of 200 m × 38 m (656 ft × 125 ft) (length by width), serviced by one portal crane with the lifting capacity of 300 tons.

The station was originally built in 1967 by the Turkish State Railways in anticipation of electric commuter rail service from Haydarpaşa to Gebze. The station was closed down 29 April 2012 and demolished shortly after. A new station was built in its place in 2014 as part of the rehabilitation of the railway for the Marmaray commuter rail system. The station was reopened on 12 March 2019.

Sedef Shipyard (Turkish: Sedef Tersanesi) is a Turkish shipyard established in Gebze, Kocaeli in 1972. Shipyard moved to Tuzla, Istanbul in 1990. The shipyard is building defense industry ships and commercial ships such as the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu to be used by the Turkish Naval Forces. In 2000, the shipyard became a subsidiary of Turkon Holding.The shipyard was qualified in 2009 by obtaining the necessary documents to take part in military projects. In 2013, the company won the tender for a multi-purpose amphibious assault ship project, which will be the largest ship in the Turkish Navy and can carry one battalion. Within the scope of this project, the construction of TCG Anadolu started in 2015 and the ship was launched in 2019.The construction of a sister ship, to be named TCG Trakya, is currently planned by the Turkish Navy.

The station was originally opened in 1954 by the Turkish State Railways, as İçme railway station and was a stop on the Haydarpaşa suburban commuter rail line. The original station consisted of two side platforms with two tracks. İçme station was also serviced by the popular Adapazarı Express regional rail service from Istanbul to Adapazarı.The station was closed down on 1 February 2012, when all train traffic between Pendik and Arifiye was temporarily suspended due to construction of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed railway. The station was demolished shortly after and a new station was built in its place. The new station consists of an island platform serving two tracks, with a third express track on the south side. Fevzi Çakmak—Hastane is an underground rapid transit station on the M4 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located at the intersection of Mimar Sinan Street and Ankara Street in the Fevzi Çakmak district of Pendik. It was opened on 2 October 2022 with the extension of M4 line from Tavşantepe to Sabiha Gökçen Airport.The station includes a nearby land parking lot which has 500 parking spaces, built and operated by Pendik Municipality.
