Art Shipyard (Turkish: Art Tersanesi) is a Turkish shipyard established in Tuzla, Istanbul in 1975.

Tersane railway station (Turkish: Tersane istasyonu) is a railway station in Pendik, Istanbul, on the Marmaray line. Up until 2012, the station was a stop on the Haydarpaşa suburban commuter rail line. The original station consisted of two side platforms with two tracks. The station gets its name from the nearby Pendik Shipyards, as Tersane is Turkish for shipyard. Tersane station was closed down on 1 February 2012, when all train traffic between Pendik and Arifiye was temporarily suspended due to construction of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed railway. The station was demolished shortly after and a new station was built in its place. The new station consists of an island platform serving two tracks, with a third express track on the south side. Tersane station was opened on March 12, 2019 along with the entire Marmaray line.

Sedef Shipyard (Turkish: Sedef Tersanesi) is a Turkish shipyard established in Gebze, Kocaeli in 1972. Shipyard moved to Tuzla, Istanbul in 1990. The shipyard is building defense industry ships and commercial ships such as the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu to be used by the Turkish Naval Forces. In 2000, the shipyard became a subsidiary of Turkon Holding.The shipyard was qualified in 2009 by obtaining the necessary documents to take part in military projects. In 2013, the company won the tender for a multi-purpose amphibious assault ship project, which will be the largest ship in the Turkish Navy and can carry one battalion. Within the scope of this project, the construction of TCG Anadolu started in 2015 and the ship was launched in 2019.The construction of a sister ship, to be named TCG Trakya, is currently planned by the Turkish Navy.

İçmeler railway station (Turkish: İçmeler istasyonu) is a railway station in Tuzla, Istanbul. The station was originally opened in 1954 by the Turkish State Railways, as İçme railway station and was a stop on the Haydarpaşa suburban commuter rail line. The original station consisted of two side platforms with two tracks. İçme station was also serviced by the popular Adapazarı Express regional rail service from Istanbul to Adapazarı.The station was closed down on 1 February 2012, when all train traffic between Pendik and Arifiye was temporarily suspended due to construction of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed railway. The station was demolished shortly after and a new station was built in its place. The new station consists of an island platform serving two tracks, with a third express track on the south side. Istanbul Naval Shipyard (Turkish: İstanbul Donanma Tersanesi), also known as Pendik Naval Shipyard, is a naval shipyard of the Turkish Navy on the northeastern coast of the Sea of Marmara in Tuzla, Istanbul, Turkey. It is the largest shipbuilding facility in Turkey.Right after the 1999 İzmit earthquake, which caused also heavy damage to the facilities of the Turkish Navy located in Gölcük, Kocaeli, the Navy Command decided to relocate the shipbuilding activities at the Gölcük Naval Shipyard to the Istanbul Naval Shipyard, leaving only the ship maintenance and reparation works there.The shipyard has one of the largest shipbuilding drydocks in the country, with the dimensions of 300 m × 50 m × 8.5 m (984 ft × 164 ft × 28 ft) (length x width x depth). The drydock is serviced by one Kone portal crane with the lifting capacity of 450 tons. In addition, the shipyard has a semi-drydock slipway with the dimensions of 200 m × 38 m (656 ft × 125 ft) (length by width), serviced by one portal crane with the lifting capacity of 300 tons.

Kaynarca is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Pendik, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 47,493 (2022). The current headman of Kaynarca is Birol Okay. Kaynarca railway station is served by local trains on the Marmaray line.

Kaynarca station (Turkish: Kaynarca istasyonu) is a railway station in the Kaynarca neighborhood of Pendik, Istanbul. The station was originally built in 1967 by the Turkish State Railways in anticipation of electric commuter rail service from Haydarpaşa to Gebze. The station was closed down 29 April 2012 and demolished shortly after. A new station was built in its place in 2014 as part of the rehabilitation of the railway for the Marmaray commuter rail system. The station was reopened on 12 March 2019.

Camp Armen or also known as Tuzla Armenian Orphanage (Armenian: Արմէն ճամբար, Turkish: Kamp Armen, Tuzla Ermeni Yetimhanesi) is an Armenian orphanage in Tuzla, owned by the Gedikpaşa Surp Hovhannes Church.
