Kaynarca is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Pendik, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 47,493 (2022). The current headman of Kaynarca is Birol Okay. Kaynarca railway station is served by local trains on the Marmaray line.

Tersane railway station (Turkish: Tersane istasyonu) is a railway station in Pendik, Istanbul, on the Marmaray line. Up until 2012, the station was a stop on the Haydarpaşa suburban commuter rail line. The original station consisted of two side platforms with two tracks. The station gets its name from the nearby Pendik Shipyards, as Tersane is Turkish for shipyard. Tersane station was closed down on 1 February 2012, when all train traffic between Pendik and Arifiye was temporarily suspended due to construction of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed railway. The station was demolished shortly after and a new station was built in its place. The new station consists of an island platform serving two tracks, with a third express track on the south side. Tersane station was opened on March 12, 2019 along with the entire Marmaray line.

Kaynarca station (Turkish: Kaynarca istasyonu) is a railway station in the Kaynarca neighborhood of Pendik, Istanbul. The station was originally built in 1967 by the Turkish State Railways in anticipation of electric commuter rail service from Haydarpaşa to Gebze. The station was closed down 29 April 2012 and demolished shortly after. A new station was built in its place in 2014 as part of the rehabilitation of the railway for the Marmaray commuter rail system. The station was reopened on 12 March 2019.

The Güzelyalı railway station (Turkish: Güzelyalı istasyonu) is a railway station in Pendik, Istanbul, on the Marmaray line. It was a stop on the Haydarpaşa suburban commuter rail line until 2012. Kosilaos was a town of ancient Bithynia located on the road from Libyssa to Chalcedon on the north coast of the Sinus Astacenus, an arm of the Propontis. Its site is located east of Pendik, in Asiatic Turkey.

Tavşantepe is an underground station of the M4 line of the Istanbul Metro. Located under beneath the D.100 state highway in the Doğu neighborhood of Pendik, Istanbul, it was opened on 10 October 2016 along with the 5 km (3.1 mi) expansion from Kartal to Pendik.

Fevzi Çakmak—Hastane is an underground rapid transit station on the M4 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located at the intersection of Mimar Sinan Street and Ankara Street in the Fevzi Çakmak district of Pendik. It was opened on 2 October 2022 with the extension of M4 line from Tavşantepe to Sabiha Gökçen Airport.The station includes a nearby land parking lot which has 500 parking spaces, built and operated by Pendik Municipality.

Art Shipyard (Turkish: Art Tersanesi) is a Turkish shipyard established in Tuzla, Istanbul in 1975.

Sedef Shipyard (Turkish: Sedef Tersanesi) is a Turkish shipyard established in Gebze, Kocaeli in 1972. Shipyard moved to Tuzla, Istanbul in 1990. The shipyard is building defense industry ships and commercial ships such as the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu to be used by the Turkish Naval Forces. In 2000, the shipyard became a subsidiary of Turkon Holding.The shipyard was qualified in 2009 by obtaining the necessary documents to take part in military projects. In 2013, the company won the tender for a multi-purpose amphibious assault ship project, which will be the largest ship in the Turkish Navy and can carry one battalion. Within the scope of this project, the construction of TCG Anadolu started in 2015 and the ship was launched in 2019.The construction of a sister ship, to be named TCG Trakya, is currently planned by the Turkish Navy.

Pendik is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 190 km2, and its population is 750,435 (2022). It is on the Asian side between Kartal and Tuzla, on the Marmara Sea. Home to Sabiha Gökçen International Airport. It also neighbours Sultanbeyli, Sancaktepe and Çekmeköy from northwest, Şile from north and Gebze from northeast. The oldest known name of the district is Pantikapeun. During the Roman, Byzantine, Eastern Roman and Latin Empire periods, the names Pantichion and Panlihion were also used.
