Mount Tabor is a New Jersey Transit station in Denville, New Jersey along the Morristown Line just west of the small community of Mount Tabor in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey. The station consists of one side platform and 48 parking spaces for commuters. One of these parking spaces is handicapped-accessible.

The Morris County School of Technology (MCVTS or MCST) is a vocational magnet public high school located in Denville Township, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States, operating as part of the Morris County Vocational School District. This school prepares high school students for future careers, through its academy programs, each focusing on a particular trade as well as an advanced college preparatory program. Students apply to one of the 13 different academies in a process that starts the 8th grade year of local students. The highly competitive process begins with a general admissions test and is followed by group interviews on an academy basis. Denville is a large NJ Transit station in Denville. Located on Estling Road, the three-platform station serves both the Morristown Line and the Montclair-Boonton Line, with service to Hoboken or to New York City via Midtown Direct. The Morristown Line station is two low-level platforms located on a curve, with shelters and a mini-high platform while the Montclair-Boonton Line station is a single platform next to the closed Denville Tower. Denville Tower was constructed as an interlocking tower for the junction between the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad's Boonton Branch and Main Line. The station is the end of a short electrification stretch on the Montclair-Boonton Line and the second-to-last station seeing electrified service on the Morristown Line. After the fork, Morristown Line trains serve Mount Tabor station and Montclair-Boonton Line trains serve the Mountain Lakes station.

Craftsman Farms is a historic house located in Parsippany-Troy Hills, Morris County, New Jersey, United States. It was founded by noted early 20th century designer Gustav Stickley as a farm and school for the Arts and Crafts movement. It remained in use until 1915 when it was sold to a family and became a private house. When threatened by development in 1989, the home was purchased by the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills through eminent domain. The property is operated as a museum, also known as the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms, and is operated by the Craftsman Farms Foundation.

Denville Township is a township in Morris County, New Jersey, located 35 miles (56 km) west of Manhattan. The lake is fed by Den Brook and drains over a dam into Indian Lake. New Jersey Transit's Montclair-Boonton Line runs along the north shore of the lake. The lake's residents participate in a variety of sporting events with other nearby lakes such as Parsippany, White Meadow, Rainbow, Arrowhead, Mountain, Indian, Intervalve, Telemark, Rock Ridge, Lake Valhalla, and Cedar known as the "Hub Lakes." An ice house existed on the lake until it was destroyed in the early twentieth century.

Rainbow Lake is a residential lake, natural, spring-fed body of water, a private community and unincorporated area within Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey, United States. The lake is used for many recreational activities, including: swimming, fishing, ice skating, and non-motor boating. The Lake has a sand beach and a floating dock, and which are used by most members of the lake, especially throughout the summer months. The Rainbow Lake Community Club (RLCC) runs a clubhouse available to all members of the lake, which provides a volleyball court, tennis court, and a playground, organizes many community activities, and hosts a bar for the adults every weekend. Rainbow Lake is a member of an athletic organization called Hub Lakes, which includes other local communities: Lake Valhalla, Lake Arrowhead, Estling Lake, Indian Lake, Lake Intervale, Mountain Lakes, Lake Parsippany, Cedar Lake, Rock Ridge, Lake Telemark, and White Meadow Lake. Hub Lakes provides competition between the lakes in bowling, diving, golf, horseshoes, roller hockey, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.

Watnong Mountain is a mountain in Morris County, New Jersey. The major peak rises to 965 feet (294 m). It is located in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township and overlooks Morris Plains to the east. It is part of the New York–New Jersey Highlands of the Reading Prong.

Rainbow Lakes is a census-designated place (CDP) in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, Morris County, New Jersey, United States. It is in the western part of the township and consists of housing built around Rainbow Lake (or "Rainbow Lakes" on federal maps), plus a zone of commercial buildings to the east of the lakes. It is bordered to the east by Parsippany proper, to the north by the borough of Mountain Lakes, and to the west by Denville Township. The northern edge of the CDP is formed by U.S. Route 46 and the NJ Transit Montclair-Boonton Line, and Interstate 80 forms the southern edge. It is 21 miles (34 km) northwest of Newark and 30 miles (48 km) west of the George Washington Bridge over the Hudson River. Rainbow Lakes was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.
