Knapton Cutting

Knapton is a village and a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. The village is 8.9 miles (14.3 km) southeast of Cromer, 19.4 miles (31.2 km) northeast of Norwich and 134 miles (216 km) northeast of London. The Village is located alongside the B1145 a route which runs between King's Lynn and Mundesley. The nearest railway station is at North Walsham for the Bittern Line which runs between Sheringham, Cromer and Norwich. The nearest airport is Norwich International Airport.

Pigneys Wood or Pigney's Wood is a 20.9-hectare (52-acre) Local Nature Reserve north of North Walsham in Norfolk, England. It was formerly owned by the North Norfolk Community Woodland Trust and is now owned and managed by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust. This wood has 40 different species of trees, most of which have been planted since 1993, but there is a 450 year old oak. There is also a range of birds, butterflies and dragonflies. Mammals include otters, water voles and badgers. There is public access to the reserve.

Swafield is a village and a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. The village is 16.4 miles (26.4 km) north north east of Norwich, 10.1 miles (16.3 km) south south east of Cromer and 133 miles (214 km) north-east of London. The village lies 1.4 miles (2.3 km) north of the town of North Walsham. The village sits astride the B1145 Kings Lynn to Mundesley road that bisects North Norfolk west to east. The nearest railway station is at North Walsham for the Bittern Line which runs between Sheringham and Norwich. The nearest airport is Norwich International Airport. The parish had in 2001 census, a population of 273, including Bradfield and increasing to 315 at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of North Norfolk.

Paston and Knapton railway station was a station in North Norfolk on the Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Railway line between Cromer Beach and North Walsham. It served the settlements of Paston and Knapton, through it was nearer to the latter. It closed on 5 October 1964 to passengers and to goods on 28 December 1964.

Trunch is a village and parish in Norfolk, England, situated three miles north of North Walsham and two miles from the coast at Mundesley. At the Census 2011 the village had a population of 909. The parish covers an area of 5.5 square kilometres (2.1 sq mi). The villages name origin is uncertain perhaps, 'upland wood'.Trunch never had any rail connections in the village itself but it does have a rail map outside of its pub. Before the 1960s one could go to the next village along (Knapton) to catch a train to Cromer or North Walsham from Paston & Knapton railway station (M&GN) to catch a train. Now the nearest stations are Gunton and North Walsham.

Edingthorpe is a small village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Bacton, in the North Norfolk district, in the county of Norfolk, England. The village is located 10 miles (16 km) south-east of Cromer and 18 miles (29 km) north-east of Norwich. In 1931 the parish had a population of 213. On 1 April 1935 the parish was abolished and merged with Bacton under the County of Norfolk Review Order, 1935.

North Walsham High School is a co-educational secondary school located in North Walsham in the English county of Norfolk. On the same site there is the shared-use Atrium Arts Centre.

St Nicholas Church is a parish church in the Church of England in the centre of the Norfolk town of North Walsham. The building is a well known landmark, notable for its collapsed tower.

North Walsham is a market town and civil parish in Norfolk, England, within the North Norfolk district. The town is located 8 mi (13 km) south of Cromer and Norwich is 15 mi (24 km) south.

Paston College (previously Paston Sixth Form College) is a sixth form college located in the town of North Walsham, Norfolk. The college has been part of City College Norwich, following a merger of the two colleges, since 1 December 2017.

Mundesley railway station was a railway station on the Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Railway in Mundesley, Norfolk. It opened on 1 July 1898. The station was host to a LNER camping coach from 1938 to 1939. Two coaches were positioned here by Eastern Region of British Railways in 1952, then four coaches from 1953 to 1958, then ten for 1959 reducing to six coaches from 1960 to 1964, 3 coaches remained for the 1965 season despite the station having closed. On 7 April 1953 the station became the terminus of the line from North Walsham when the route to Cromer closed. In 1964 the remainder of the route was closed.

Paston Great Barn is a medieval barn near Paston Hall on the southeast edge of the village of Paston in northeast Norfolk, owned by the North Norfolk Historic Buildings Trust. Dating from 1581, the building has a long association with the Paston family. A scheduled monument and a grade II* listed building, the barn is the centre of a 0.95 hectares (2.3 acres) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest, a National Nature Reserve and a Special Area of Conservation. It is in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
