Hereford Inlet

The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse located in North Wildwood, New Jersey, situated on the southern shore of Hereford Inlet at the north end of Five Mile Beach. Its construction was completed and it became operational in 1874. The 50-foot (15 m) tower and its beacon are visible for up to 13 nautical miles (24 km; 15 mi).

North Wildwood is a city located on the Jersey Shore in Cape May County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The city, and all of Cape May County, is part of the Ocean City metropolitan statistical area, and is part of the Philadelphia-Wilmington-Camden, PA-NJ-DE-MD combined statistical area, also known as the Delaware Valley or Philadelphia metropolitan area. As of the 2020 United States census, the city's population was 3,621, a decrease of 420 (−10.4%) from the 2010 census count of 4,041, which in turn reflected a decline of 894 (−18.1%) from the 4,935 counted in the 2000 census. North Wildwood is home to the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse.The city's beaches were ranked the fourth-best in New Jersey in the 2008 Top 10 Beaches Contest sponsored by the New Jersey Marine Sciences Consortium. North Wildwood is one of five municipalities in the state that offer free public access to oceanfront beaches monitored by lifeguards, joining Atlantic City, Wildwood, Wildwood Crest and Upper Township's Strathmere section.

Chateau Bleu Motel is located in North Wildwood, Cape May County, New Jersey, United States, in an area now known as, and designated by the state of New Jersey as, the Wildwoods Shore Resort Historic District. The building was built in 1962 in the distinctive "Googie" or "Doo Wop" architectural style. Googie details include the heart shaped swimming pool and the spikes (one of which is broken) at the entrance. The motel was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 25, 2004.

The North Wildwood School District is a community public school district that serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade from North Wildwood, in Cape May County, New Jersey, United States The district also serves students from West Wildwood, which has a non-operating district that sends students to North Wildwood District in a sending/receiving relationship.As of the 2021–22 school year, the district, comprised of one school, had an enrollment of 207 students and 33.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 6.3:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "A", the lowest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.For ninth through twelfth grades, public school students from North Wildwood attend Wildwood High School in Wildwood as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Wildwood Public School District, together with students from West Wildwood and Wildwood Crest. As of the 2021–22 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 263 students and 31.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.5:1.

Wildwood Catholic Academy (WCA), formerly Wildwood Catholic High School, is a co-educational pre-kindergarten to twelfth grade Catholic school in North Wildwood, in Cape May County, New Jersey. The school operates under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden. The school opened in September 1948 with an initial enrollment of 80 students. Wildwood Catholic High School has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1956; the school's accreditation expires in May 2023.As of the 2019–20 school year, the school had an enrollment of 139 students and 14.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.4:1. The school's student body was 82.0% (114) White, 8.6% (12) Hispanic, 5.0% (7) Black, 2.9% (4) two or more races and 1.4% (2) Asian.

The Wildwoods are a group of five communities (four distinct municipalities and one census-designated place) in Cape May County, New Jersey. These are situated on the Island of Five Mile Beach, a barrier island facing the Atlantic Ocean. These Jersey Shore communities have relatively small year-round populations that swell significantly during the summer with vacationers.While the communities have no shared governance (other than Cape May County), with each community reporting to a different local government, the term is often used to refer collectively to the area. All of the communities are part of the greater Delaware Valley or Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Great Nor'easter (formerly called Fly - The Great Nor Easter from 2006 to 2016) is a steel inverted roller coaster, a Suspended Looping Coaster model manufactured by the Dutch company Vekoma. It is located at Morey's Piers amusement park in North Wildwood, New Jersey. The track is colored white and blue and seats 20 people per ride in two trains. Riders are required to give 10 tickets or have a wristband in order to ride, and must be over 52" and under 79". Further restrictions are posted at the ride, and loose articles (cell phones, flip flops, etc.) are not permitted.The Great Nor'easter opened on May 26, 1995. It was known by that name until 2005, and since 2017.

U.S. Life-Saving Station No. 35 is located in Stone Harbor, Cape May County, New Jersey, United States. The station was built in 1895 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 8, 2008.

RC-48 was a steel roller coaster built by Pinfari. This ride is the only installation of the model ever produced, as Pinfari went bankrupt shortly after its release. The ride operated on Morey's Pier's Surfside Pier from 2000 until 2004. The RC-48 replaced the retired Jet Star attraction in 2000. The RC-48 was purchased by Wade Shows, Inc. During 2008, it was present at the Michigan State Fair, Oklahoma State Fair, North Carolina State Fair and perhaps others. During February 2010 it was still traveling with Wade Shows when it appeared at the Florida State Fair.

Doo Wopper is a steel roller coaster on the Surfside Pier of Morey's Piers amusement park in New Jersey. The attraction appeared along with Rollies Coaster, The Storm, and Shark Bite, but Shark Bite is now defunct. The Doo Wopper was relocated from the Adventure Pier to Surfside Pier where it replaced the RC-48. A S&S Screaming Swing took the Doo Wopper's former space on Adventure Pier. The Doo Wooper is a wild mouse type of roller coaster. This ride has undulating hills and is a modern version of a classic wild mouse coaster. The ride costs five tickets to ride. Morey's Piers has rated this ride as a moderate type of roller coaster.Doo Wopper was originally located at the Adventure Pier (formerly Wild Wheels) then moved to Surfside Pier.The theme of the Doo Wopper is set to the 1950s and has props of a typical drive-thru in a fast food restaurant.

Runaway Tram is a steel family roller coaster located on Morey's Piers' Surfside Pier in North Wildwood, New Jersey. The attraction replaced the aging Flitzer roller coaster and required the reconfiguration of several rides on the pier and represented a total investment of $4 million. Runaway Tram spoofs the Wildwood Sightseer Tramcar, a local yellow-and-blue trackless train service.

Flitzer was a steel roller coaster on the Surfside Pier in the amusement park Morey's Piers. The Flitzer was 1 of the 3 small coasters at Morey's Piers. It opened in 1983 and was manufactured by Zierer in 1969. In 2018, it was announced that the Flitzer would close for good after September 23, 2018. Due to weather, the send off for the ride was postponed to September 30, 2018. A roller coaster called Runaway Tram replaced the Flitzer in 2019. Three of the Flitzer's ride vehicles are now at Runaway Tram's entrance.
