The James W. Barney Pickaweekee Story Grove features a series of six bronze sculptures by Jack Greaves, installed in Columbus, Ohio's Battelle Riverfront Park, in the United States. The artworks were completed in 1992 for the Christopher Columbus Quincentenary Jubilee celebrations. The grove is named after Jim Barney, who served as director of the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, and the sculptures were relocated to their current location in 2015.The figures, sometimes collectively referred to as Children's Fountain, KidSpeak Children's Fountain, or Pickaweekee Children's Fountain, include Eagle, Griffin, Hound, Lion, Owl, and Unicorn.The sculptures were designed for a children's park, located just south of the Joseph P. Kinneary U.S. Courthouse. The park was themed after S. J. Seaburn's mythical story, "Pickaweekee, A Myth of Discovery", with a set of trees representing an enchanted forest, among a fountain, waterfall, and meandering stream. During the Scioto Mile renovations, the space was redesigned, and the statues were moved a short distance northwest, to their current place. The Scioto River and a nearby young tree stand in for the story in the present day.The group's owl sculpture, valued at $35,250, was stolen in 2009.

The Joseph P. Kinneary United States Courthouse is a federal courthouse in Columbus, Ohio, in the city's downtown Civic Center. It was formerly known as the U.S. Post Office and Court House. It was designed by Richards, McCarty & Bulford and was completed in 1934. The supervising architect was James A. Wetmore. It was renamed for Joseph P. Kinneary in 1998. It is still in use by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Battelle Riverfront Park is a 4.1-acre (1.7 ha) park in downtown Columbus, Ohio, United States, near Columbus City Hall. The park was established in 1983. It is named after Gordon Battelle and was funded by the Battelle Memorial Institute.

The AEP Building is a 456 ft-tall (139 m) skyscraper in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was completed in 1983 and has 31 floors. Abramovitz, Harris & Kingsland designed the building following a modernist architectural style. The AEP Building is the 8th tallest building in Columbus. It has served as the headquarters of the American Electric Power (AEP) since they relocated from New York City in 1983. At the front of the building are two sculptures created by George Greenamyer. The turbine rotors came from the former Philo Power Plant in Philo, Ohio and the Twin Branch Power Plant in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Alexander Park, or Alexander AEP Park, is a park in Columbus, Ohio, United States. Donated by American Electric Power, the park is located between Battelle Riverfront Park and North Bank Park. It is named after former City Council President Arvin J. Alexander, and features a 1991 memorial in his honor by Carl Faehnle. The park also features a plaque marking the site of the city's first cabin, completed by John Brickell in 1797.

WCBE (90.5 FM) is a public radio station in Columbus, Ohio that began broadcasting in 1956. The WCBE call sign represents the station's licensee, the Columbus Board of Education (Columbus City Schools). The Columbus Firefighters Memorial, or Firefighters' Memorial, is a monument commemorating firefighters who died while serving by Ed Nothaker, installed in Columbus, Ohio's Battelle Riverfront Park, in the United States. It was erected in 1958 and features an eternal flame on top of Greek columns.The memorial was dedicated on April 13, 1958, and rededicated on October 16, 1988. It was surveyed by the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in 1993.
