A statue of Lucas Sullivant by Michael Foley is installed in Columbus, Ohio's Genoa Park, in the United States. The sculpture was commissioned by the Franklinton Historical Society in 2000, and unveiled on May 6. The plinth depicts scenes from Franklinton's origins.

Battelle Riverfront Park is a 4.1-acre (1.7 ha) park in downtown Columbus, Ohio, United States, near Columbus City Hall. The park was established in 1983. It is named after Gordon Battelle and was funded by the Battelle Memorial Institute.

The Columbus Firefighters Memorial, or Firefighters' Memorial, is a monument commemorating firefighters who died while serving by Ed Nothaker, installed in Columbus, Ohio's Battelle Riverfront Park, in the United States. It was erected in 1958 and features an eternal flame on top of Greek columns.The memorial was dedicated on April 13, 1958, and rededicated on October 16, 1988. It was surveyed by the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in 1993.

The James W. Barney Pickaweekee Story Grove features a series of six bronze sculptures by Jack Greaves, installed in Columbus, Ohio's Battelle Riverfront Park, in the United States. The artworks were completed in 1992 for the Christopher Columbus Quincentenary Jubilee celebrations. The grove is named after Jim Barney, who served as director of the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, and the sculptures were relocated to their current location in 2015.The figures, sometimes collectively referred to as Children's Fountain, KidSpeak Children's Fountain, or Pickaweekee Children's Fountain, include Eagle, Griffin, Hound, Lion, Owl, and Unicorn.The sculptures were designed for a children's park, located just south of the Joseph P. Kinneary U.S. Courthouse. The park was themed after S. J. Seaburn's mythical story, "Pickaweekee, A Myth of Discovery", with a set of trees representing an enchanted forest, among a fountain, waterfall, and meandering stream. During the Scioto Mile renovations, the space was redesigned, and the statues were moved a short distance northwest, to their current place. The Scioto River and a nearby young tree stand in for the story in the present day.The group's owl sculpture, valued at $35,250, was stolen in 2009.

Genoa Park is a 2.07-acre (0.84 ha) urban park along the west bank of the Scioto River in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The park, located between Broad and Rich Streets, is named after Genoa, the birthplace of Christopher Columbus and one of Columbus' sister cities. It opened in 1999.

Celebration of Life, also known as the Arthur Boke/Sarah Sullivan statue, is a 2004 bronze sculpture by Alfred Tibor, installed near Franklinton's Genoa Park, in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The artwork depicts a woman holding a baby above her head, and commemorates Arthur Boke, the first known black child born in Franklinton, and Sarah Sullivant, the wife of Lucas Sullivant. The Sullivants, a white couple, raised Boke as their own child.

WCBE (90.5 FM) is a public radio station in Columbus, Ohio that began broadcasting in 1956. The WCBE call sign represents the station's licensee, the Columbus Board of Education (Columbus City Schools). Christopher Columbus, or simply Columbus, is a 1955 sculpture by Edoardo Alfieri, originally installed outside Columbus, Ohio's City Hall, in the United States. The statue was unveiled in 1955, celebrating Christopher Columbus's voyages to the New World. It was removed in July 2020, in light of the explorer's abusive relationship with indigenous Americans.

The Columbus City Council is the lawmaking body of Columbus, Ohio. It has 7 members who are elected at-large. It meets in the City Council Chambers located on the second floor of Columbus City Hall.

To Honor the Immigrants (also known as Immigrants: Strength of Our Nation or simply Immigrants) is an outdoor 1991–1992 bronze sculpture by Gary Ross, installed at Columbus, Ohio's Battelle Riverfront Park, in the United States.

Columbus City Hall is the city hall of Columbus, Ohio, in the city's downtown Civic Center. It contains the offices of the city's mayor, auditor, and treasurer, and the offices and chambers of Columbus City Council. City Hall was designed in a Neoclassical style by the Allied Architects Association of Columbus. It replaced offices in the Central Market building as well as a former permanent city hall. The new city hall was built from 1926 to 1928, during a period of extensive construction building the city's riverfront civic center. An additional wing was added to City Hall in 1936. Renovations took place in 1949 and 1986, and the building was determined to be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places as part of a historic district in 1988.
