Marco Simone Golf and Country Club (also known as Golf Marco Simone) is a golf course in Guidonia, Rome, Italy. It is 10 miles from the city centre of Rome and has 2 golf courses, an 18-hole Championship Course and a 9-hole Resort Course. In 2015 it won the bid to host the 2023 Ryder Cup.

Fonte Nuova is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Rome in the Italian region Lazio, located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northeast of Rome. The comune was created in 2001 from the frazioni of Tor Lupara di Mentana and Santa Lucia di Mentana, once belonging to Mentana, and that of Tor Lupara of Guidonia Montecelio.

The Aqua Virgo was one of the eleven Roman aqueducts that supplied the city of ancient Rome. It was completed in 19 BC by Marcus Agrippa, during the reign of the emperor Augustus and was built mainly to supply the contemporaneous Baths of Agrippa in the Campus Martius. At its peak, the aqueduct was capable of supplying more than 100,000 cubic metres (100,000,000 L) of water per day. The name is thought to be derived from the purity and clarity of the water because it does not chalk significantly. According to a legend repeated by Frontinus, thirsty Roman soldiers asked a young girl for water, who directed them to the springs that later supplied the aqueduct; Aqua Virgo was named after her.

Collatia was an ancient town of central Italy, c. 15 km northeast of Rome by the Via Collatina.It appears in the legendary history of Rome as captured by Tarquinius Priscus. Vergil speaks of it as a Latin colony of Alba Longa. In the time of Cicero it had lost all importance; Strabo names it as a mere village, in private hands, while for Pliny it was one of the lost cities of Latium.According to Livy, it was taken, along with its population and surrounding land, from the Sabines by Tarquinius Priscus at the conclusion of his war against them. Livy records the wording of the form of the town's surrender. The date of Tarquinius' triumph over the Sabines, according to the Fasti Triumphales, which Livy says occurred shortly after the surrender of Collatia, is 13 September, 585 BC. By 509 BC the town was governed by the Roman Lucius Tarquinius Collatinus, who took his name from the town. It was the site of the rape of Lucretia in that year, and Livy records that the leaders of the revolution which followed thereafter, gathered in Collatia to hear Lucretia's tale, then gathered the youth of Collatia to commence their revolution.The site is undoubtedly to be sought on the hill now occupied by the large medieval fortified farmhouse of Castello di Lunghezza immediately to the south of the Anio, which occupies the site of the citadel joined by a narrow neck to the tableland to the southeast on which the city stood: this is protected by wide valleys on each side, and is isolated at the southeast end by a deep narrow valley enlarged by cutting.No remains are to be seen, but the site is admirably adapted for an ancient settlement. The road may be traced leading to the south end of this tableland, being identical with the modern road to Lunghezza for the middle part of its course only. The earlier identification with Castellaccio, c. 3.5 km to the southeast, is untenable.

The Castello di Lunghezza ("Lunghezza Castle") is a medieval fortification situated roughly 20 kilometers (12 mi) east of Rome, Italy. It lies in Municipio VIII of Rome, and sits on the site of the ancient town of Collatia.

Rebibbia is an urban zone of Rome, Italy. It was located on the road Via Tiburtina on the north-east edge of the city. Administratively Rebibbia is part of both Ponte Mammolo quarter of Rome and Municipio IV of Rome. The suburb, first developed at the start of the 20th century, consists almost completely of family homes, largely built with few floors and small gardens, in an almost rural style. The two churches of the Via Casal de' Pazzi and Piazza Ferriani are simple, having been renovated in a modern style. The eponymous prison holds 352 women and 1927 men. It has entrances on vias Bartolo Longo and Tiburtina. It is one of the major Italian prisons intended for rehabilitation and social reintegration of inmates. It housed would-be papal assassin Mehmet Ali Agca during his prison time in Italy, when Agca met his would-be victim Pope John Paul II on 27 December 1983 and was forgiven by him. Disgraced ship captain Francesco Schettino is a prominent inmate.

The church of San Liborio is a church in Rome, in the district Ponte Mammolo, in Via Diego Fabbri. It was built in the twentieth century and inaugurated 7 November 1998. The parish was erected on 28 May 1965 with the decree Neminem fugit, issued by the Cardinal Vicar Luigi Traglia, and entrusted to the secular priests of the Institute of Sodales Priests. Originally the parish was dedicated to St. Mary of the Purification. On 2 December 1996, by decree of Cardinal Camillo Ruini, it assumed its current name. It was instituted a cardinal's titular church by Pope John Paul II 21 February 2001. It is dedicated to Saint Liborius, who was bishop of Le Mans (Cenomanus) from 348 to 397.

Rebibbia is a station on the Rome Metro, and is the northern terminus of line B. It was opened in 1990 and is situated along via Tiburtina in the Rebibbia district at the north-eastern extremity of Rome. Beside the station is the Rebibbia prison.

Santa Bernadette Soubirous is a 20th-century parochial church and titular church in eastern Rome, dedicated to Saint Bernadette Soubirous (1844–1879).

Tor Tre Teste is a district of Rome, Italy, outside the city walls. It is located in Municipio VII along Via Praenestina. It has a population of 12,176.The area was part of the Roman countryside until the middle of the 20th century. Tor Tre Teste means "three heads' tower" and was named after a Roman funerary relief. One of the deceased is a veiled woman. The relief was walled into a tower built in the 12th century and belonging to the Lateran Basilica. Later the tower was incorporated into a small church. This part of the Roman Campagna was built up rapidly in the second half of the 20th century. Important Roman archaeological remains were destroyed during the process. The modern district is mainly suburban sprawl, a blend of nondescript housing developments and industrial estates.
