Sagunto Castle (Spanish: Castillo de Sagunto; Valencian: Castell de Sagunt) is a fortress overlooking the town of Sagunto, near Valencia in Spain. The site's history extends back over two thousand years and includes Iberian, Roman and medieval remains. During the Islamic period, the castle was known as Murbĩtar and Morvedre. The castle was declared a National Monument in 1931. The sacking of the Iberian settlement by Hannibal in 219 BC led to the outbreak of the Second Punic War. The visible walls are largely Islamic in origin, with substantial modifications taking place after the end of Islamic rule, with the defences being strengthened and modernised. In 1811, during the Napoleonic Wars, the French laid siege to the castle, and were ultimately successful in taking it, after which the defences were repaired.

The Teatro romano de Sagunto (Spanish: Teatre romano) is a Roman theatre located in Sagunto, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1896. The Roman Theatre of Sagunto is located at the foot of the mountain, crowned by Sagunto Castle. It occupies the intermediate terrace, between the city and the upper platform chaired by the Forum, Civic Center of the municipality, responding to an urban planning of the times of Emperor Augustus. It was built in the middle of the first century, using the slope of the mountain. It consists of two distinct parts: the cavea or grandstands, semicircular and composed by three orders of stands and the frons scaenae, which rises to the height of the top of the grandstands porch. It is semicircular in shape and can seat 8,000 spectators.

It is best known for the remains of the ancient Iberian and Roman city of Saguntum. The siege of Saguntum in 219 BC was the trigger of the Second Punic War between the Carthaginians and the Romans. The municipality includes three differentiated urban nuclei: Ciutat Vella (Sagunt / Sagunto), Grau Vell and Puerto de Sagunto (Port de Sagunt). Over half of the population lives in the coastal settlement of Puerto de Sagunto.

Sagunto Power Station (Spanish: Central térmica de Sagunto) is a natural gas-fired combined-cycled power station in Sagunto near Valencia, Spain. It went into operation in 2007. The power station is owned and operated by Unión Fenosa. The power station consists of three identical units with an electrical power output of 1,212.6 MW. Each of these units is including a 65 metres (213 ft) high flue gas stack. It was built and equipped by Siemens. Each of the units has an efficiency of 57%. The power station is connected via a 380 kV double-circuit powerline with Gauss substation. On the area of the facility at present, the static inverter of HVDC Cometa is under construction.

It belongs to the Horta Nord. The municipality borders El Puig south and Sagunt (or Sagunto) to the north. It has 19,975 inhabitants (01/01/2021), of whom 9,839 are men and 10,136 are women (according to INE).
