The Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB or Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College) is a public teacher-training university college situated in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei, founded in 2007. The institution aims to improve the standing of religious education in Brunei and create educators by integrating research and teaching knowledge based on Islamic principles and the Melayu Islam Beraja (MIB) concept.

The Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (Malay: Jabatan Alam Sekitar, Taman dan Rekreasi; Jawi: جابتن عالم سکيتر، تامن دان ريکرياسي; abbrev: JASTRe), also referred to as the Environment Unit, is a department overseen by the Ministry of Development. The Pollution Control Guidelines for Industrial Development in Brunei are under the custody of JASTRe.

The Laksamana College of Business (LCB), (Malay: Kolej Perniagaan Laksamana) is an accredited private university college in Brunei. It was the first British college to open a campus as a foreign educational institution in the country, achieved through its partnership with Kensington College of Business, the University of Chester, and Abdul Razak Holdings, in Brunei.

The Royal Mausoleum (Malay: Kubah Makam Diraja) in Batu Satu, Bandar Seri Begawan, is a significant historical and cultural landmark in Brunei. Located along the Brunei River, it lies beyond Kampong Ayer and on the route from Bandar Seri Begawan to the Istana Nurul Iman. This site serves as the final resting place for several Bruneian sultans and members of the royal family, with Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin I, who died in 1795, being the first monarch interred here. Although the mausoleum holds immense significance in Brunei's monarchical history—particularly during the 19th and 20th centuries—and in its interactions with the British, it remains relatively off the main tourist trail and is less visited by foreign tourists. Despite this, it is a notable destination for domestic visitors, offering a peaceful setting with ample parking and a refreshment shop for convenience.

The Batu Tarsilah (Genealogical Stone Tablet) is a stone tablet listing the genealogy of Bruneian sultans from 1363 to 1804 CE, in addition to historical records such as Malay manuscripts and oral narratives. The Batu Tarsilah, a stone inscription dating back to 1807, documents Brunei's royal ancestry and was commissioned by Sultans Muhyiddin and Husin Kamaluddin. The tablet is regarded as the most trustworthy source for verifying Brunei's monarchy's ties to the Prophet Moḥammad's lineage (Ahl al-Bayt) and the Quraysh through comparative research based on Islamic genealogy, hence bolstering the legitimacy and sovereignty of Brunei's rulers. The historical and cultural grandeur of the sultanate is symbolised by this tablet.

The Istana Darul Hana (English: Darul Hana Palace) is one of the few remaining palaces in Brunei which notably, is the former residence of Omar Ali Saifuddien III from 1951 to 1987. The palace is located on a hill at Kilometer 3 of Jalan Tutong in Kampong Tumasek, Brunei-Muara District, Brunei. It is sometimes referred to as Istana Lama.

Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital, commonly abbreviated as RIPAS Hospital, is the main and largest public hospital in Brunei. It is the primary referral hospital and teaching hospital for medical and nursing students mainly from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, the only university in the country providing such courses. The hospital is funded by the government and administered under the Ministry of Health. It was officially opened on 28 August 1984. The hospital accommodates 1260 beds and has 257 doctors.

Limbongan was a neighbourhood in Kampong Ayer, the riverine stilt settlement in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei. It was officially a village subdivision under Tamoi, a mukim (subdistrict) of Brunei-Muara District, and had the postcode BL1312. Limbongan was one of the traditional stilt neighbourhoods which had existed along the banks of the Kedayan River, a tributary of the Brunei River in the vicinity of Kampong Ayer, before they were eventually demolished in the 2010s and redeveloped into Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas, a riverfront park.

Mukim Tamoi is a mukim in Brunei-Muara District, Brunei. It is part of Kampong Ayer, the traditional stilt settlements on the Brunei River in the country's capital Bandar Seri Begawan. The population was 1,389 in 2016.

The Supreme Court of Brunei Darussalam is the highest court of Brunei Darussalam, though its decisions are subject to appeal in civil cases to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. The Chief Justice and other Judges of the Supreme Court are appointed by the Sultan of Brunei to sit in judgment of the most acrimonious contentions in the country.

Kedayan River (Malay: Sungai Kedayan) is a tributary of the Brunei River which flows through the capital of Brunei, Bandar Seri Begawan.

Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas (from the Malay name, literally 'Golden Jubilee Crown Park'), initially known as Eco-Corridor Park (Malay: Taman Eko-Koridor), is a riverfront public park in the former Mukim Sungai Kedayan of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. The park was inaugurated on 22 October 2017 in conjunction with the Golden Jubilee of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah's accession to the throne as the 29th and current Sultan of Brunei.
