The Depot Street Bridge is a historic bridge in Beacon Falls, Connecticut, carrying Depot Street over the Naugatuck River. Built in 1935 with federal jobs relief funds, it is one of a small number of surviving Parker through truss bridges in the state. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Beacon Falls station is a commuter rail stop on the Waterbury Branch of the Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line, located in Beacon Falls, Connecticut. With just 14 daily passengers, the station is one of the least used stations in the entire Metro-North system.

Beacon Falls is a town in western New Haven County, Connecticut, United States. It lies in the southwestern part of the state, and is bisected by the Naugatuck River. The population was 6,000 at the 2020 census, down from 6,049 at the 2010 census.

Woodland Regional High School is a high school located in the western part of Beacon Falls, Connecticut, near the town line shared with Oxford. The school is operated by Regional School District 16. The school mascot is Harry the hawk. Students residing in the towns of Beacon Falls and Prospect in grades 9 through 12 attend the school.

The Naugatuck Trail is a 6.8-mile (10.9 km) Blue-Blazed hiking trail "system" in the eastern central-lower Naugatuck River Valley in New Haven County, Connecticut, USA. It is almost entirely contained in the Naugatuck State Forest. The mainline (officially the "Blue" or "non-dot") trail is primarily east to west with three short side or spur trails. Composed of four trails (including the primarily East-to-West mainline trail (5.5 miles) plus three shorter side trails), at its western end the trail ends with a section alongside Route 8 and the Naugatuck River. During the 1930s and 1940s, it was much larger. But post–World War II housing developments of the Connecticut Blue-Blazed Trails, led to its drastic reduction. Notable features include: the summits of Beacon Cap and Spruce Knoll. The trail goes near, but does not summit Beacon Hill (670 feet). The Connecticut Forest and Park Association is mostly responsible for its maintenance.

The Laurel Park, Inc. site, also known as Hunters Mountain Dump, or Murtha's Dump to locals, is a capped landfill that occupies approximately 20 acres (81,000 m2) of a 35-acre (140,000 m2) parcel of land in Naugatuck, Connecticut. The landfill has been in existence since the late 1940s, and several industries disposed of solvents, oils, hydrocarbons, chemical and liquid sludge, chemical solids, tires, and rubber products there. The facility continued to operate as a municipal landfill until 1987. It was owned and operated by Terrence and Howard Murtha.

The Salem School is a historic school building at 124 Meadow Street in Naugatuck, Connecticut. It is a 2-1/2 story brick Renaissance Revival structure, designed by McKim, Mead & White and built in 1893. It is one of a group of buildings on the Naugatuck Green designed by the firm, and one of only two school buildings in Connecticut designed by the firm (the other is also in Naugatuck). The school (and many of the other buildings) were commissioned by a local industrialist, John Howard Whittemore. The schoolhouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 3, 1983. It presently serves as a district school serving kindergarten through fourth grades.

Naugatuck is a consolidated borough and town in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States. The town spans both sides of the Naugatuck River just south of Waterbury and includes the communities of Union City on the east side of the river, which has its own post office, Straitsville on the southeast (along Route 63), and Millville on the west (along Rubber Avenue). The town is part of the Naugatuck Valley Planning Region. As of the 2020 census, Naugatuck had a population of 31,519.

The Naugatuck Center Historic District encompasses the historic civic and business center of Naugatuck, Connecticut. Centered around the town green, the district includes churches, schools and municipal buildings, many from the late 19th or early 20th centuries, as well as a diversity of residential architecture. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The Wooster Sawmill and Gristmill Site is a historic industrial site on Park Street in Oxford, Connecticut. From at least 1747 until 1965 it was operated as a sawmill, gristmill, and cider mill, giving it one of the longest known histories as a water-powered mill complex in the United States. The surviving elements of the complex, its structures now converted to private residential use, were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Naugatuck State Forest is a Connecticut state forest consisting of five separate blocks in the towns of Oxford, Beacon Falls, Naugatuck, Bethany, Cheshire, Hamden, Seymour, and Ansonia. The five blocks are the Mount Sanford (Cheshire, Hamden—bordering Prospect and Bethany), East (Beacon Falls, Bethany, Naugatuck), West (Naugatuck, Oxford, Beacon Falls), Quillinan Reservoir (Seymour, Ansonia), and Great Hill (Seymour) blocks.
