Naugatuck station is a commuter rail station on the Waterbury Branch of the Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line, located in Naugatuck, Connecticut.

The U.S. Post Office-Naugatuck Main, also known as Naugatuck Main Post Office, is a historic former post office building at Church and Cedar Streets in Naugatuck, Connecticut. Designed in 1915 and completed the following year, it is one of the most architecturally sophisticated post office buildings in the state. It is set among a cluster of civic buildings designed by McKim, Meade & White. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. Naugatuck's current post office is located at 170 Water Street.

The Salem School is a historic school building at 124 Meadow Street in Naugatuck, Connecticut. It is a 2-1/2 story brick Renaissance Revival structure, designed by McKim, Mead & White and built in 1893. It is one of a group of buildings on the Naugatuck Green designed by the firm, and one of only two school buildings in Connecticut designed by the firm (the other is also in Naugatuck). The school (and many of the other buildings) were commissioned by a local industrialist, John Howard Whittemore. The schoolhouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 3, 1983. It presently serves as a district school serving kindergarten through fourth grades.

The Naugatuck Center Historic District encompasses the historic civic and business center of Naugatuck, Connecticut. Centered around the town green, the district includes churches, schools and municipal buildings, many from the late 19th or early 20th centuries, as well as a diversity of residential architecture. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The Bronson B. Tuttle House is a historic house at 380 Church Street in Naugatuck, Connecticut. Built in 1879 for a prominent local industrialist, it is a fine example of Queen Anne architecture in brick, and a well-preserved reminder of its 19th century industrial past. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. The building now houses the local historical society.

St. Hedwig Parish - designated for Polish immigrants in Union City, Connecticut, United States. Founded on February 18, 1906. It is one of the Polish-American Roman Catholic parishes in New England in the Archdiocese of Hartford.

WFNW (1380 KHz, "Rádio Press") is a radio station licensed to Naugatuck, Connecticut. The station is owned by Candido Dias Carrelo. It airs a Portuguese contemporary radio format. The station has been assigned the WFNW call letters by the Federal Communications Commission since February 13, 1989.By day, WFNW is powered at 3,500 watts. At night, to avoid interference with other stations on 1380 AM, it reduces power to 350 watts. It uses a directional antenna at all times. Its transmitter is on Thunderbird Drive in Naugatuck.

The Laurel Park, Inc. site, also known as Hunters Mountain Dump, or Murtha's Dump to locals, is a capped landfill that occupies approximately 20 acres (81,000 m2) of a 35-acre (140,000 m2) parcel of land in Naugatuck, Connecticut. The landfill has been in existence since the late 1940s, and several industries disposed of solvents, oils, hydrocarbons, chemical and liquid sludge, chemical solids, tires, and rubber products there. The facility continued to operate as a municipal landfill until 1987. It was owned and operated by Terrence and Howard Murtha.

Naugatuck High School is a public high school (grades 9–12) in Naugatuck, New Haven County, Connecticut, US. The old high school, now an intermediate school, was located on Hillside Ave. The new school is located at 543 Rubber Avenue. The building was constructed in 1959. Three wings were added during the 1970s: Castle House, Goodyear House, and the Applied Education Wing, which contains all the shop classes. The main building then became known as Judd House. Recent renovations have resulted in a re-brand of the wings of Naugatuck High School. Judd House is now known as North, Castle and Goodyear Houses have combined to become South, the Applied Education wing is East, and the gym, auxiliary gym, and pool make up West. The original building, located on Hillside Ave., was built in 1905 by McKim, Mead, and White and then was the Hillside Middle School until the 2010–2011 term when it became Hillside Intermediate School. The school mascot is the greyhound and the school colors are garnet and grey. Naugatuck competes against other high schools in the Naugatuck Valley League. These schools include Wilby, Kennedy, Holy Cross, Crosby, Sacred Heart, Waterbury Career, Watertown, Torrington, Derby, Ansonia, St. Paul, Woodland Regional, Wolcott, Seymour, and Oxford. NHS has a storied football rivalry with the high school in Ansonia that is one of the longest in America. Like the other high schools in the Naugatuck Valley, the two teams meet the morning of Thanksgiving Day. The first meeting was in 1900. Ansonia is the long-term winner in the series. In 2009, the school added solar panels to its roof. In 2013, the school began an $81 million renovation project that updated the schools interior and exterior, as well as added new technology. The project was completed in the fall of 2015.

Whittemore Glen State Park is an undeveloped public recreation and wilderness area for hiking and horseback riding covering 242 acres (98 ha) mostly within the town of Naugatuck, Connecticut. Sitting outside the southwestern edge of the city of Waterbury, the state park is the eastern terminus of the Larkin State Park Trail. It entered the roles as Connecticut's forty-eighth state park in the 1945–46 edition of the Connecticut Register and Manual. The park is managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

Hop Brook Lake is spread over three communities in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States. These communities are Naugatuck, Middlebury, and Waterbury. A dam was created across Hop Brook in Naugatuck and the lake that was created is known as Hop Brook Lake.
