Fair Oaks is a historic farmstead at 23718 New Mountain Rd. in Loudoun County, Virginia, near the village of Aldie. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame Italianate style house was built in 1881 by Alexander Moore, whose family operated the Aldie Mill for many years. The most prominent exterior decorative feature is the front porch, which features a delicately scroll-sawn balustrade and decorative brackets. Most of its interior woodwork has been preserved. The farmstead includes three other buildings dating to the same period, as well as the 1844 Moore family cemetery.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Mount Zion Old School Baptist Church, also known as Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church and Mount Zion Old School Predestinarian Baptist Church, is a historic Primitive Baptist church located at Gilberts Corner, Loudoun County, Virginia. It is now maintained by the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority: the property including the adjoining cemetery is open from dawn to dusk and the church itself open on the fourth Sunday of various months (except in wintertime), or by reservation for weddings and events.

The Little River Turnpike Bridge carries U.S. Route 50 (US 50) across the Little River near Aldie in Loudoun County, Virginia. The two-arch masonry bridge was built in 1826 by the Little River Turnpike Company, which built the roadway that is now US 50. The costs of the bridge were apparently shared between that company and the Ashley's Gap Turnpike Company. It is one of a small number of masonry arch bridges still carrying a major through road in the state. It is about 108 feet (33 m) long and 23 feet (7.0 m) wide.The bridge has received only modest visible modifications since its construction. Concrete caps have been installed on upper surface elements, and the arch underside has also been protected with shotcrete. The upstream central pier has had a concrete fender added to protect it from debris and scouring. The downstream parapet wall was damaged by a truck in 1998 and reconstructed, and in 2004 reinforcing metal rods were injected into the rubble of the bridge to help distribute the active load. As of 2014, the bridge has no weight limit.The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Aldie is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located between Chantilly and Middleburg in Loudoun County, Virginia, United States. The historic village of Aldie is located on the John Mosby Highway (U.S. Route 50) in a gap between the Catoctin Mountains and Bull Run Mountains, through which the Little River flows. Aldie traditionally serves as the gateway to the Loudoun Valley and beyond. The Aldie CDP was first drawn prior to the 2020 census and comprises solely the historic village. As of 2014, the Aldie postal area (ZIP Code 20105), covering a much greater area than the CDP, had a population of 11,420 people, a 569% increase since 2000 making it one of the fastest-growing suburbs in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and the second fastest growing ZIP code in Virginia. The Aldie ZIP Code 20105 has currently the highest median sales prices for houses sold in Loudoun County. As a result, the eastern part is suburbanized with numerous upscale communities recently built or under construction while most of the Aldie Hills adjacent to the village of Aldie have so far largely preserved their bucolic character with farms, wineries and custom homes. It was first listed as a CDP in the 2020 census with a population of 70.

The Battle of Aldie took place on June 17, 1863, in Loudoun County, Virginia, as part of the Gettysburg Campaign of the American Civil War. Maj. Gen. J.E.B. Stuart's cavalry screened Gen. Robert E. Lee's Confederate infantry as it marched north in the Shenandoah Valley behind the sheltering Blue Ridge Mountains. The pursuing Union cavalry of Brig. Gen. Judson Kilpatrick's brigade, in the advance of Brig. Gen. David McMurtrie Gregg's division, encountered Col. Thomas T. Munford's troopers near the village of Aldie, resulting in four hours of stubborn fighting. Both sides made mounted assaults by regiments and squadrons. Kilpatrick was reinforced in the afternoon, and Munford finally withdrew toward Middleburg.

Stoke is a historic farm property at 23587 Stoke Farm Lane in rural Loudoun County, Virginia, near the hamlet of Aldie. Its main house, set one mile down the entrance drive, is an 1840 Greek Revival farmhouse that underwent a major transformation in 1907 in the Renaissance Revival style. The property includes an early 20th-century swimming pool, tennis court, and landscaped garden with wall fountain, in addition to a complex of farm outbuildings, many dating to the 1920s. The gardens were developed by noted horticulturalist Eleanor Truax Harris.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The property includes two contributing frame barns.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Institute Farm, also known as the Loudoun Agricultural and Mechanical Institute, was the first agricultural school in Virginia and one of the earliest institutions devoted to agronomy in the United States. Located near Aldie, Virginia, the school was established as the Loudoun County Agricultural Institute and Chemical Academy around 1854 on a former portion of U.S. President James Monroe's Oak Hill plantation.
