Peapack station

The Moses Craig Lime Kilns, also known as the Peapack and Gladstone Lime Kilns, are located at 122 Main Street in the borough of Peapack-Gladstone in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. Built c. 1860, the lime kilns, listed as the Moses Craig Limekilns, were added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 11, 2019. The Historical Society of the Somerset Hills acquired the site in 1998. The kilns were subsequently transferred to the borough in 2019.

Peapack-Gladstone (also written as Peapack and Gladstone) is a borough in the Somerset Hills region of northern Somerset County in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 2,558, a decrease of 24 (−0.9%) from the 2010 census count of 2,582, which in turn reflected an increase of 149 (+6.1%) from the 2,433 counted in the 2000 census.Peapack-Gladstone was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 28, 1912, from portions of Bedminster, subject to the results of a referendum held on April 23, 1912. It is part of the New York metropolitan area, as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-New Jersey-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area and it is located within the Raritan Valley region.Peapack is home to historic Natirar as well as the Essex Hunt Club and Fox Hounds. In operation until the mid-1930s, the Moses Craig Lime Kilns are located at the center of Peapack.Gladstone is home to the Hamilton Farm Golf Club, the Stronghold Soccer Club and the United States Equestrian Team. Natirar is an estate spanning 491 acres (1.99 km2) in Peapack-Gladstone, Far Hills and Bedminster, in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. Its name is a reverse spelling of Raritan. The complex was built between 1910 and 1912. In 2003 it was sold by the estate of Hassan II, late King of Morocco, to Somerset County, New Jersey, and is now administered by the Somerset County Park Commission. Approximately 90 acres (360,000 m2) of the estate have been leased to develop that portion of the estate (which includes the mansion, stable/carriage barn and most of the other outbuildings) into an exclusive hotel, spa, restaurant complex.

Gladstone is a New Jersey Transit station in Peapack-Gladstone, Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. It is the western terminus of the Gladstone Branch of the Morris and Essex line. A yard is to the east of the station. The original 1891 wood station and freight station remains in service. The head house has been on the state and federal registers of historic places since 1984, listed as part of the Operating Passenger Railroad Stations Thematic Resource.

Blairsden is a historic 62,000-square-foot (5,800 m2), 38-room mansion located in Peapack-Gladstone, New Jersey. Set high on a hilltop overlooking Ravine Lake, the mansion is part of what was originally an estate of 550 acres (2,200,000 m2). In addition to its 38 rooms, the mansion has 25 fireplaces and 19 bathrooms.

The Sybase Match Play Championship was a women's professional golf tournament for three seasons on the LPGA Tour, held at Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, New Jersey. First played in 2010, it was the only match play format event on the LPGA Tour schedule. The previous match play tournament was the HSBC Women's World Match Play Championship, played from 2005 to 2007, with all three events at Hamilton Farm. The title sponsor was Sybase, an enterprise software and services company headquartered in Dublin, California. It previously sponsored the Sybase Classic, a stroke play event on the LPGA Tour also held in the New York-New Jersey area through 2009. Sybase was acquired by SAP in 2010, which elected not to continue as title sponsor in 2013.Azahara Muñoz won her first title on the LPGA Tour at the final edition in 2012.

Gill St. Bernard's School is a private, nonsectarian, coeducational, college preparatory day school located along the Somerset-Morris county line between the Gladstone section of Peapack-Gladstone and Chester Township, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Established in 1900, the school serves students in primary (3- to 4-year-olds) through twelfth grade. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1979 and is accredited until January 2028.Gill St. Bernard's School is a member of and accredited by the National Association of Independent Schools and the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools. Bedminster is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) comprising the primary community in Bedminster Township, Somerset County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.The community is in northern Somerset County, in the east part of Bedminster Township. It is bordered to the east by the borough of Far Hills and to the north by the borough of Peapack and Gladstone. U.S. Routes 202 and 206 pass through the community. US 202 leads northeast 12 miles (19 km) to Morristown, while US 206 leads north 17 miles (27 km) to Netcong. Together, the two highways lead south 8 miles (13 km) to Somerville.

The Bedminster Township School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Bedminster, in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprised of one school, had an enrollment of 486 students and 54.9 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.9:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "I", the second-highest of eight groupings. Far Hills is a NJ Transit station in Far Hills, in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States located at the intersection of Route 202 and CR 512, one-half mile (0.80 km) east of Route 206.

The Far Hills Races is a steeplechase horserace held annually in Far Hills, New Jersey, United States. The October 2021 event was the 100th running, and race day purses can equal up to or more than $1,000,000, with six races offering the highest purses on the National Steeplechase Association circuit. Considered one of the premier social events of the year in the tri-state area, it is attended by as many as 75,000 people annually. Groups of visitors create unique and often extravagant fall picnic areas, complete with beautiful floral centerpieces, ice carvings, haybale seating, and culinary feasts. For many visitors, the Race Meeting is a tradition and a reunion of family and friends.
