Overthorpe, Double Bay

Double Bay is a harbourside eastern suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 4 kilometres east of the Sydney central business district. It is the administrative centre of the local government area of the Municipality of Woollahra. Double Bay takes its name from the bay of Sydney Harbour and refers to the two geographical formations between Point Piper and Darling Point, which are interrupted by a miniature point in between. The eastern part is also known as Blackburn Cove. It has some of the most expensive real-estate in Australia and is colloquially often referred to as "Double Pay", a term coined due to the high income of people living there, and the nature of the shopping area which features high-end fashion labels.

Fenton and surrounds is a heritage-listed house at 8 Albert Street, Edgecliff, Municipality of Woollahra, New South Wales, Australia. The house was designed by Robin Dods in 1919. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. The property is privately owned.

Rosemont is a heritage-listed residence at 14 Rosemont Avenue, Woollahra, Municipality of Woollahra, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by James Hume and Alexander Campbell. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Bishopscourt, Darling Point is a heritage-listed residence and former archbishop's residence at 11A Greenoaks Avenue, Darling Point, Sydney, Australia. It was designed by J. F. Hilly (1846), Edmund Blacket (1859) and Leslie Wilkinson (1935) and built from 1846 to 1849 by Thomas Woolley (1841); Thomas Sutcliffe Mort. It is also known as Bishopscourt and Greenoaks. Up until December 2015, the property was owned by the Anglican Diocese of Sydney; and is now privately owned. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Double Bay Compressed Air Ejector Station is a heritage-listed former sewage pumping station (SPS87) and now decommissioned sewerage infrastructure in Jamberoo Lane, Double Bay, adjacent to the rear boundary of 63 William Street, in the Municipality of Woollahra local government area of New South Wales, Australia. The site of the pumping station and the State Heritage Register curtilage is shown on SHR:01324–Plan 2019, reproduced on the internet page referenced here.The Ejector Station was designed and built from 1895 to 1896 by the New South Wales Department of Public Works. It is also known as Double Bay Sewage Ejector Station No. 1 (decommissioned). The property is owned by Sydney Water, an agency of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 18 November 1999.

Double Bay ferry wharf is located on the southern side of Sydney Harbour serving the Sydney suburb of Double Bay. The Australian 18 Footers League maintain a function centre adjacent to the wharf.

St Mark's Church is an active Anglican church in Darling Point, a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is part of a significant local heritage group that includes the church, rectory, and adjacent cottage. The group forms part of a large collection of important to late 19th century buildings of considerable townscape, historic and cultural significance, including the former St Mark's Crescent School, St Mark's Cottage and Bishopscourt, formerly Greenoaks.

The houses located at 4 and 6 Wiston Gardens, Double Bay are heritage-listed former residences and estate with vineyard and now residences located at 4 and 6 Wiston Gardens, Double Bay, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Professor Leslie Wilkinson and built from 1932 to 1936. It is also known as Wiston Gardens; Sweetapple (#4); Parkinson (#6).

Trumper Park Oval is a sporting oval in Paddington, New South Wales. The oval is located at the corner of Glenmore Road & Hampden Street, Paddington and is named in honour of Victor Trumper. The oval has a long history of catering for Australian Football in the form of NSWFL foundation club, East Sydney, as well as catering for cricket and athletics. A series of walking trails connect surrounding streets. Australian football has been played at this oval since at least 1903. To put this date of 1903 in perspective, Australian football was played on Trumper Oval five years prior to the establishment of the first rugby league competition in Australia and only one year after the establishment of the Hawthorn football club. All the Sydney FL grand finals (bar one) between 1952 and 1977 were played at this venue. Some of the biggest names in Australian football history have played on this oval including Jack Dyer (Richmond vs NSW 1946), Keith Miller (Sydney Naval), Bill Morris (Richmond), Kevin Murray (Fitzroy/East Perth) and John Pitura (North Shore) amongst many others.

Woollahra railway station was a proposed railway station on Sydney's Eastern Suburbs line. Named after the suburb it was located in, Woollahra railway station would have been built between the present stations of Edgecliff and Bondi Junction. The proposed site of the station currently exists as a cutting off Edgecliff Road. Had this station been completed, it would have been the only above-ground station on the line. Opposition from local residents and costs associated with the construction of the Eastern Suburbs railway prevented the station from being opened.
