LJ Institute of Business Administration (LJIBA) is an undergraduate business school affiliated with Gujarat University and based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was founded in 1998. It gives a three-year BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) degree to the graduates. It provides two specialisations in the third year of attendance: Accountancy and Marketing. The college is owned and managed by the Lok Jagruti Kendra trust.

Vastrapur Lake is situated in western part of Ahmedabad. It is officially named after Narsinh Mehta. The lake was beautified by the AMC after 2002 and has since become a popular spot in the city. Everyday, many people visit this lake. It currently boasts an open-air theater and children's park. There is a 600m pathway all around the lake which serves many walkers and joggers in the early mornings and in the evenings. There are also few fitness equipments available like chest press, lat pull down, hip rollers, pull bar, rowing machine. The lush green lawns surrounding this lake also serve as a central hub of Ahmedabad, wherein various cultural events take place regularly. At times, the water from Narmada River is allowed to flow into this lake. The lake is surrounded by pretty gardens with much stonework.In 2013, Vastrapur lake was renamed to 'Bhakt Kavi Narsinh Mehta Sarovar' in memory of Narsinh Mehta and a statue of Narsinh Mehta was installed in the garden of lake.In 2016, the lake almost dried up. People removed dead fish, and moved surviving fish elsewhere.In September 2019, Amdavad Municipal Corporation is planning fill the lake with Narmada River water.

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) is a business school located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The school has been accorded the status of an Institute of National Importance by Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India in 2017. Established in 1961, the institute offers master's degree programs in management and agri-business management, a fellowship program and a number of executive training programs. The institute's founding director is Ravi J. Matthai. Other notable founding figures were the Indian physicist Vikram Sarabhai, Indian businessman Kasturbhai Lalbhai and Indian educator Kamla Chowdhary.

The B. K. School of Business Management is a business schools in the state of Gujarat. It is a postgraduate department of Gujarat University situated in Gujarat University Campus, Ahmedabad. The school was started in 1976, to serve local students and those who could not afford the higher fees at other schools. The school offers two-year full-time and three-year part-time MBA programs for working executives. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and part of B+ National Assessment and Accreditation Council accreditation. The school receives a grant from the University Grants Commission (UGC), and runs an Industry Institute Partnership cell under the UGC umbrella. The school started a port management program to cater needs of expanding international business and privatisation of ports in Gujarat. The school offers two year full-time MBA program and three year MBA part-time program (i.e. evening program for working executives) and offers specialization in finance, marketing and human resources. The school also offer post graduate diploma program in port management and diplomas in finance, human resources, and marketing and advertisement. The school updates courses in response to the demands of industry and offers placement assistance for graduating students.

This metro station consists of the main SGVP Swaminarayan Hindu Temple along with the Government District Library in Ahmedabad. It was opened to the public on 30 September 2022.

The Ahmedabad Textile Industry's Research Association (commonly known as ATIRA) is an autonomous non-profit association for textile research located in the Navarangpura area of Ahmedabad, India. It is the largest association for textile research & allied industries in India. Established on 13 December 1947, and started in 1949, ATIRA was recognized by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. It was later linked to the Ministry of Textiles.

The Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) is a National Research Institute for space and allied sciences, supported mainly by Department of Space, Government of India. This research laboratory has ongoing research programmes in astronomy and astrophysics, atmospheric sciences and aeronomy, planetary and geosciences, Earth sciences, Solar System studies and theoretical physics. It also manages the Udaipur Solar Observatory and Mount Abu InfraRed Observatory. The PRL is located in Ahmedabad. The Physical Research Laboratory was founded on 11 November 1947 by Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. The laboratory had a modest beginning at his residence, with research on cosmic rays. The institute was formally established at the M.G. Science Institute, Ahmedabad, with support from the Karmkshetra Educational Foundation and the Ahmedabad Education Society. Prof. K. R. Ramanathan was the first Director of the institute. The initial focus was research on cosmic rays and the properties of the upper atmosphere. Research areas were expanded to include theoretical physics and radio physics later with grants from the United States Atomic Energy Commission. PRL is involved in research, related to five major fields of science. PRL is also instrumental in the PLANEX planetary science and exploration programme. In June 2018, PRL scientists discovered exoplanet EPIC 211945201b or K2-236b, located 600 light years away from the Earth.The building of the PRL was designed by Achyut Kanvinde in 1962.

Doordarshan Kendra is an elevated metro station on the East-West Corridor of the Blue Line of Ahmedabad Metro in Ahmedabad, India. This metro station consists of the main Doordarshan Kendra (Ahmedabad) along with its adjacent Ahmedabad Education Society Ground and SKUM College of Physiotherapy. This metro station was opened to the public on 30 September 2022.

The Centre for Environment Education (CEE) in India was established in August 1984 as a Centre of Excellence supported by the Ministry of Environment and Forests. The organisation works towards developing programmes and materials to increase awareness about the environment and sustainable development. The head office is located in Ahmedabad. The centre has 41 offices across India including regional cells in Bangalore (South), Guwahati (North East), Lucknow (North), Ahmedabad (West) and Pune (Central); state offices in Delhi, Hyderabad, Raipur, Goa, Coimbatore; and several field offices. It has international offices in Australia and Sri Lanka.
