St. Kazimierz Church

The Kotowski Palace (Polish: Pałac Kotowskich) was a 17th-century palace in Warsaw, Poland. It served as the main cloister building for the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.

The Warsaw New Town (Polish: Nowe Miasto) is a neighborhood dating from the 15th century in Warsaw, Poland. It lies just north of the Old Town and is connected to it by ulica Freta (English: Freta Street), which begins at the Warsaw Barbican. Like the Old Town, the New Town was almost completely destroyed by the Germans during World War II and rebuilt after the war.

New Town Market Place (Polish: Rynek Nowego Miasta) is the main square of the Warsaw New Town of Warsaw, Poland. It was formed before 1408, as the main square of the Warsaw New Town. It initially had a rectangular shape, with an area of 140 x 120 meters. In the 15th century, a wooden town hall was built in the center of the square and residential buildings were also constructed. In 1544 the square was damaged by fire, and the town hall was reconstructed in brick. The rest of the buildings remained wooden. In 1656 the square was burned down by Swedes, during the Deluge. The reconstruction was slow, and the town hall was rebuilt again in 1680. In 1688 the Baroque Saint Kazimierz Church was built by Dutch architect Tylman van Gameren. In the second half of the 18th century, wooden residential buildings were replaced by bricked tenement houses. In 1785, the town hall was partially reconstructed and several shops were added to it. In 1818 the town hall was torn down, and the square gained its market character, which continued until 1878. Then, the buildings on the square were expanded and reconstructed to house growing number of craftsmen and workers. In 1932 a statue of Saint Klemens Hofbauer was placed in the square. In World War II, during the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, the square was completely destroyed, 80% of houses were completely demolished, including the church. After the war, the square was reconstructed in the 18th-century style. The reconstruction lasted until 1955. A 19th century well is located in the southern part of the square. The image of a girl with a unicorn, old symbol of the New Town, can be found on the top of its eclectic cast-iron pump.

The Church of the Visitation of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary (Polish: Kościół Nawiedzenia Najświętszej Marii Panny), otherwise known as St. Mary's Church (Kościół Mariacki) is a church in Warsaw, Poland. It is one of oldest buildings and one of the few surviving examples of Gothic architecture in the city. It is located at ulica Przyrynek 2.

The Maria Skłodowska-Curie Monument (Polish: Pomnik Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie) is a bronze statue in Warsaw, Poland, located within New Town neighbourhood of Downtown district. It is dedicated to Maria Skłodowska-Curie, a 19th- and 20th-century physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity, who was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, and the first person to win a Nobel Prize twice. The statue was designed by Bronisław Krzysztof, and unveiled on 4 June 2014. It is placed near the intersection of Kościelna and Piesza Streets, in front of Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 2 Przyrynek Street, and near the tenement at 16 Freta Street, where Skłodowska-Curie was born and grew up in.

Samborska Street (ulica Samborska) is the shortest street in Warsaw and possibly in Poland. Approximately 22 metres (72 ft) long, it is located in Warsaw's New Town, just off Przyrynek Street near the Polish Security Printing Works building. It was laid out in 1770 or 1771. Its name comes from the Polish family name Samborski, who were Warsaw residents and, at the time, owners of the surrounding land. No buildings are assigned to the street. For many years it was almost invisible, overgrown and closed. In 2010 it was renovated and opened to pedestrians, becoming one of the minor attractions of New Town.

The Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum (Polish: Muzeum Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie) is a museum in Warsaw, Poland, devoted to the life and work of Polish two-time Nobel laureate Maria Skłodowska-Curie (1867–1934), who discovered polonium and radium. The Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum is a cultural institution of The City of Warsaw co-organized by the Polish Chemical Society. It carries out educational and cultural projects related to the Nobel laureate and her family. The museum is located at 16 Freta Street (ulica Freta 16) in Warsaw's "New Town" district (dating from the 15th century), and is housed in the 18th-century tenement house in which Maria Skłodowska was born.Due to renovation, in December 2014 the museum was temporarily moved to 5 Freta Street.

Sapieha Palace (Polish: pałac Sapiehów w Warszawie) is one of the palaces in Warsaw New Town district of Warsaw, Poland. Started by the powerful Sapieha family who gave the name to the building, it currently houses the Environmental Protection School Complex.

The Church of the Holy Spirit in Warsaw is a church at 3 Długa Street, in Warsaw's New Town. The church was originally built in the Gothic style alongside a hospital in the 14th century. It was probably the first hospital of this type in the Mazovian region and was located just outside the walls of the Warsaw Old Town. It was founded by Janusz the Elder, Duke of Warsaw, and handed over to the city in 1388.
