Melbourne is a home rule-class city in Campbell County, Kentucky, United States, along the south bank of the Ohio River. The population was 458 at the 2020 census. St. Anne Convent is located in Melbourne; scenes from the movie Rain Man were filmed there.

Silver Grove School was a pre-K–12 school located in the small city of Silver Grove, Kentucky, about 15 miles (24 km) southeast of Cincinnati in Campbell County, Kentucky. The school, which housed all grades in a single building, was located near the center of the city and operated by the Silver Grove Independent Schools district. The school sports teams had the unusual nickname of Big Trains (boys) and Lady Trains (girls), derived from the fact that the city and school were established in 1911 when the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad built a railyard in the community.By the 2018–19 school year, the Silver Grove district, one of the state's smallest, was plagued by both low enrollment and low test scores. Recent graduating classes had been in single digits, and even after a significant increase in enrollment in that school year, the district had only slightly more than 200 students. The district's average ACT score for its juniors (11th grade) in the 2017–18 school year was 14.8 on the test's 36-point scale, with only one other high school in the state scoring lower. However, only seven students took the test in that year. At a February 2019 meeting of the Silver Grove school board at which a merger with the surrounding Campbell County Schools district was discussed, one parent noted that 87% of Silver Grove students were in households that met U.S. federal poverty guidelines. During this meeting, one board member suggested that the Silver Grove district close its high school component but continue to operate a K–8 school.Later that month, the Silver Grove board voted to fully merge with the Campbell County district, which serves most of the county, despite resistance from many students, parents, and teachers. Within a week, the Campbell County district's board voted to approve the merger, and the Silver Grove School held its final day of instruction on May 16, 2019, with the merger of the two districts officially taking effect on July 1.

St John's Lutheran Cemetery is a historic Lutheran cemetery on Upper Tug Fork Rd. near Alexandria, Kentucky. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.It is the cemetery of the St. John's Lutheran Church, which was established in 1860 and served German Lutherans in both in its Campbell County, Kentucky area and in southern Ohio.The cemetery was deemed "significant as a place of interment for local German Protestants. It also contains a unique instance of German funerary folk art."

The United Brethren in Christ Church, also known as "Five Mile Chapel", is a historic church building located southeast of Cincinnati in Anderson Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. Built in 1844, it is a stone building with a stone foundation and a slate roof. It was the house of worship for the oldest Church of the United Brethren in Christ congregation in southeastern Hamilton County, which became the mother of other congregations: some of its members later left to found other United Brethren in Christ churches elsewhere in Hamilton County and in the surrounding community.The church was built by its members using stones quarried from the small creek that flows past the church building. Its floor plan is that of a rectangle, modified by the 1896 addition of a bell tower to the front with an entrance in its base. Among the most distinctive elements of its architecture is a large Gothic window on the front facade. Except for the front, the church is surrounded by its cemetery, which is of a date approximately equal to the church building.In 1978, the United Brethren in Christ Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Although both churches and cemeteries must pass hurdles higher than other types of properties to qualify for inclusion on the Register, it qualified both because of its well-preserved architecture and because of its place as a significant component of local history.

Camp Springs House, also known as Herb and Pat's Four Mile Inn and as Camp Springs Inn, is a historic property located on Four Mile Road in Camp Springs, Kentucky, a rural area of Campbell County, Kentucky. Originally built as a stage coach stop and inn, the stone building was constructed as part of a settlement built by German immigrants in the mid-19th century. The structure was added to the United States National Register of Historic Places in 1983.It is an "imposing" three-and-a-half-story stone tavern and residence.Camp Springs House was built in the 1860s for William Uthe by the Ort brothers. It is built of rubble limestone from the creek and surrounding land. It took about 4 years to build. It served as a stagecoach stop, tavern and inn. At one time it also served as a post office for the community. Over the years it has been a gathering place for the community. The 2nd floor once had a dance hall and card room. It was also popular for its beer garden and horseshoe tournaments. In the 1900s there was a ball field, restaurant/bar and pool hall.

It is a 1+1⁄2-story stone commercial store and residence built along a hillside. Its five-bay front faces Four Mile Pike.
