Cattai Estate

The Cattai National Park is a protected national park that is located in the Hawkesbury region of Sydney, New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The 424-hectare (1,050-acre) national park is situated approximately 55 kilometres (34 mi) northwest of the Sydney central business district and approximately 13 km (8.1 mi) from Windsor. It includes Mitchell Park and Hope Farm.

Cattai is an historic suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located 44 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district and 30 kilometres north-west of Parramatta. It is in the local government areas of The Hills Shire and City of Hawkesbury. Cattai's state electoral district is Hawkesbury, and its federal electoral divisions are Berowra and Macquarie. Cattai is bounded in the north-west by the Hawkesbury River and is traversed by Cattai Creek. It encompasses the heritage-listed Cattai Estate, located within Cattai National Park at the junction of the Creek and the River. The Georgian house was built between 1804 and 1821 by former Magistrate Thomas Arndell, with further additions being made in the 1860s. Cattai is also home to a historic rural public primary school that was founded in 1886. The suburb was originally home to the Darug Indigenous Australians before being settled in the early nineteenth century.

The Ebenezer Church is a heritage-listed Uniting church and cemetery and former schoolhouse located at Coromandel Road, Ebenezer, City of Hawkesbury, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Andrew Johnston and built from 1809 to 1823. It is now part of the Uniting Church in Australia, having been a Presbyterian church prior to amalgamation. The church was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Ebenezer is a historic town in New South Wales, Australia, in the local government area of the City of Hawkesbury. Ebenezer is located 69 kilometres north-west of Sydney and about 5 kilometres from the larger centre of Wilberforce. It sits on the banks of the Hawkesbury River and like typical early 19th century villages in NSW, it straggles along the roads rather than compactly around a village centre.

Stannix Park House is a heritage-listed residence in Stannix Park Lane, off Stannix Park Road, Wilberforce, City of Hawkesbury, New South Wales, Australia. It was built in 1839. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Maraylya is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Maraylya is located 43 kilometres (27 mi) north-west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of The Hills Shire and the City of Hawkesbury. Maraylya is bounded in the north and the east by Cattai Creek. The western part of Maraylya is prone to flooding after heavy rains, particularly from run-off from the Scheyville National Park. The flood waters make their way to Longneck Lagoon, which eventually drains into the Hawkesbury River less than 2 km to the west. Maraylya consists mainly of small-acreage properties used as hobby farms and for keeping horses for recreational purposes. Scheyville National Park adjoins the southern border of Maraylya and is popular for horse trail rides for local residents. There is an arena in the area called the Horseworld Sportsworld Equestrian Stadium. In July 2020, a small section of Maraylya in the south was carved out and formed the new suburb of Gables.

Bird In The Hand Inn is a heritage-listed inn at 87 Eldon Street, Pitt Town, City of Hawkesbury, New South Wales, Australia. It is also known as the Maid of Australia Inn, It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Wild Cat Conservation Centre is a wild felid conservation centre in Wilberforce, New South Wales, Australia. It is a privately owned facility of 10 hectares northeast of Sydney and operates as a charitable organisation. The centre focuses on wild felid conservation, particularly smaller, less well known, species. Though the educational and conservational purpose of the centre is concerned with protecting all wild cat species, Ben Britton the owner and director of the facility established the centre because 99% of the international felid conservation funding was directed towards only the seven largest species of the forty different wild cats in the world.Clouded leopards Cinta, Mark, Moana and Tai are the only four to be kept in Australasia with the park actively involved in an international conservation program for the cats which are listed as a vulnerable species by the IUCN (International Union for conservation of nature).Caracal duo Kaia and Kato were the first pair in Australia to produce kittens when a pair were born to them at the park in March 2020.The centre is home to five different wild cat species: Caracal Cheetah Clouded leopard Fishing cat ServalThe centre also houses two marmoset monkey species and eight reptile species.

Wilberforce Park is a heritage-listed public parkland at 47 George Road, Wilberforce, City of Hawkesbury, New South Wales, Australia. It was first established in 1810 by Governor Lachlan Macquarie and surveyed by James Meehan in 1811. It is also known as Great Square, Reserved Square and the Recreation Ground. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 18 November 2011.

St John's Anglican Church and Macquarie Schoolhouse is a heritage-listed Anglican church building and church hall located at 43-43a Macquarie Road, Wilberforce, City of Hawkesbury, New South Wales, Australia. The church was designed by Edmund Blacket and built from 1819 to 1859 by James Atkinson, senior; and the schoolhouse was built by John Brabyn. The church is also known as the St. John's (Blacket) Church, while the hall (former schoolhouse) is also known as the Macquarie Schoolhouse/Chapel and the Wilberforce Schoolhouse. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 20 August 2010.

Macquarie Arms Inn is a heritage-listed former inn and now residence at 104-106 Bathurst Street, Pitt Town, City of Hawkesbury, New South Wales, Australia. It was also known as the Blighton Arms and Flemings Public House in its time as an inn, while the main house on the property became known as Mulgrave Place. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Wilberforce Cemetery is a heritage-listed cemetery at Clergy Road, Wilberforce, City of Hawkesbury, New South Wales, Australia. It was laid out by surveyor James Meehan and established in 1811. It is also known as St John's Church of England Cemetery. It is owned by Hawkesbury City Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 20 August 2010.
