Bangladesh Computer Council operates a tier III certified national data center in Bangladesh.The ICT Division of Bangladesh Computer Council is building a tier IV (most reliable) National Data Center (4TDC) at Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City, Kaliakoir, Gazipur with the help of the Chinese Government. This data center will be equipped with cloud computing and G-cloud (e-Governance through cloud computing) technology.

The Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ উন্নয়ন গবেষণা প্রতিষ্ঠান (বিআইডিএস)) is an autonomous multi-disciplinary public research organization that conducts policy research on development issues for Bangladesh. Supported by the Government of Bangladesh, BIDS functions as a think tank, helping formulate socio-economic policies. The institute conducts research and promotes study and education in development economics, rural development, demographics and social sciences.

Bangladesh Hi-tech Park Authority (BHTPA) is a government agency in Bangladesh dedicated to establish, manage and operate technology business parks throughout the country.

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ সরকারী কর্ম কমিশন) is a quasi judicial constitutional body established in 1972. The commission is responsible for the recruitment of civil service servants in the Bangladesh government. It was formed by Section 137 of Part IX, Chapter II of the Constitution of Bangladesh.

National Museum of Science and Technology (NMST) (Bengali: জাতীয় বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি জাদুঘর) in Dhaka, Bangladesh was founded on April 26, 1965, by the Pakistani government and became a part of Bangladesh's Ministry of Science and Technology following the Bangladesh Liberation War. It was first based in the Dhaka Public Library, and moved a number of times before its permanent home was completed in 1981. The NMST serves as Bangladesh's only science museum and organizes science education activities at a national level.

The National Library of Bangladesh (NLB) (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় গ্রন্থাগার) is the legal depository of all new books and other printed materials published in Bangladesh under the copyright law of Bangladesh. It was founded in 1973, but it traces its origins back to 1967, before the Bangladesh Liberation War and its independence. It is open to general public and has both Bengali and English language books. It is housed in the National Library Bhaban.

The National Archives of Bangladesh (NAB) are based in Dhaka and contain 225,000 volumes of documents in addition to books, microfilm rolls and newspaper clippings. The archives were founded in 1973 by the government of Bangladesh and are administered by the Directorate of National Archives and Libraries. Located in a rented building near the campus of Dhaka University until 1985, the collections are now housed in a purpose-built part of the National Library of Bangladesh complex in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.

Sher-E-Bangla Nagar Government Boys' High School (Bengali: শেরেবাংলা নগর সরকারি বালক উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়) is a public secondary school located in Agargaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The school was established in 1969 as "Central Government Boys' High School". After the independence of Bangladesh in 1971, the name of the school was changed according to its local area. In addition to its high school curriculum, the school started college level education in 2008.The school is ranked in Group B since the overall quality, facilities and performance of this school is one of the best in Dhaka city.The school is used as a polling station. However, in the controversy in 2006 over election arrangements, this was one of the place where draft voter lists were not posted.Class Hours: 7:00 am – 12:10 pm (Morning Shift) (Class I - XII) And 12:30 pm – 5:15 pm (Day Shift) (Class III - XII)

Agargaon (Bengali: আগারগাঁও, romanised: Agargao) is an elevated metro station of the Dhaka Metro's MRT Line 6. It is located in Agargaon, and was opened on 29 December 2022.

Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) (Bengali: গ্রিন ইউনিভার্সিটি অব বাংলাদেশ) is a private university in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It offers BBA, MBA, Journalism & Media Communication, LLB, English, LLM, EEE and BSc in Computer Science, Textile Engineering and IT degrees among others. The university is accredited by the government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, and its curricula and programs have been approved by the Bangladesh University Grants Commission, the only national accreditation authority in Bangladesh. The President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh is the Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh. The Vice Chancellor, the Pro-Vice Chancellor, and the Treasurer are appointed by the President of the country in his capacity as the Chancellor of the university.
