Brushy Creek is a stream in Clay County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of the Fishing River. Brushy Creek was so named on account of brush lining its banks.

Liberty North High School (LNHS) is a four-year high school located in Liberty, Missouri, United States. As of 2021, its enrollment is over 2,000 (following a rapid increase in the 2013–14 school year, when 9th graders were placed in high schools instead of middle schools for the first time.) LNHS is one of two high schools in the Liberty Public School District, alongside Liberty High School. Liberty North High School has two feeder middle schools, South Valley Middle School and Heritage Middle School (formerly Liberty Junior High).

Garrison School Historic District is a national historic district located at Liberty, Clay County, Missouri. It encompasses six contributing buildings associated with the African-American community of Liberty. The district developed between about 1900 and 1942, and contains a variety of National Folk housing types, as well as the brick Garrison School and the limestone African Methodist Church.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Liberty Jail is a historical jail in Liberty, Missouri, United States, which served as the county jail of Clay County, Missouri between December 1834 and 1853. The jail is known in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints due to the imprisonment of Church president Joseph Smith and some of his associates during the 1838 Mormon War. The location is now a visitors’ center operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and includes an indoor cut-away reconstruction of the jail on its original site, at 216 North Main.

Mt. Memorial Cemetery, also known as The Old Gravevard, is a historic cemetery located on the campus of William Jewell College at Liberty, Clay County, Missouri. It was established about 1828, and contains 554 documented burials. The cemetery is rectangular in plan and measures approximately 140 feet by 435 feet.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

It encompasses 236 contributing buildings in a predominantly residential section of Liberty. The district developed between about 1852 and 1946, and includes representative examples of Greek Revival, Queen Anne, Tudor Revival, Prairie School, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style residential architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Frank Hughes Memorial Library.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

It encompasses 139 contributing buildings in a predominantly residential section of Liberty. The district developed between about 1850 and 1946, and includes representative examples of Greek Revival, Queen Anne, Tudor Revival, Prairie School, American Foursquare / Shirtwaist and Bungalow / American Craftsman style residential architecture.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Miller Building is a historic commercial building located at Liberty, Clay County, Missouri. It was built in 1868, and is a two-story, rectangular brick building with Late Victorian style design elements. It has a flat roof and features a decorative brick cornice, hooded window surrounds, and an intact storefront with cast-iron columns.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Major Hotel, also known as Colonial Hotel and Franklin House Apartments, is a historic hotel located at Liberty, Clay County, Missouri. It was designed by the architectural firm Keene & Simpson and built in 1912. It is a three-story, rectangular brick building with Colonial Revival and Prairie School style design elements. It features a low-pitched, hipped roof with wide, overhanging eaves and shed-roof dormers and one-story/ full-length verandah porch. It was rebuilt after a fire in 1934 and converted to a 21-unit apartment building in 1987.: 5–7 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
