The Beckman Laser Institute (sometimes called the Beckman Laser Institute and Medical Clinic) is an interdisciplinary research center for the development of optical technologies and their use in biology and medicine. Located on the campus of the University of California, Irvine in Irvine, California, an independent nonprofit corporation was created in 1982, under the leadership of Michael W. Berns, and the actual facility opened on June 4, 1986. It is one of a number of institutions focused on translational research, connecting research and medical applications. Researchers at the institute have developed laser techniques for the manipulation of structures within a living cell, and applied them medically in treatment of skin conditions, stroke, and cancer, among others.

Crawford Hall is the basketball and volleyball practice facility for UC Irvine Athletics . Crawford Court located in Crawford Hall is a 1,400-seat arena that houses the UC Irvine intercollegiate athletics offices, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's volleyball and women's volleyball teams practice facilities.

The Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory (CNLM) is a research center established in 1983 in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine that studies memory and learning. Center faculty reported the first known case of hyperthymesia; they have also done research on false memory syndrome. James McGaugh was the founding director, and noted memory expert Elizabeth Loftus is a research fellow of the center.Dr. Michael A. Yassa, professor of neurobiology and behavior and James L. McGaugh Endowed Chair, has served as center director since 2016.

The School of Biological Sciences (formerly the Francisco J. Ayala School of Biological Sciences) is one of the academic units of the University of California, Irvine (UCI). In 1995, the school gained international prominence when Frank Sherwood Rowland, a professor in chemistry and Frederick Reines, a professor in physics, won the Nobel Prize in their respective fields. It was the first time two people won the prize in the same year in two different fields at the same public university.

KUCI (88.9 FM) is a college radio station broadcasting a variety format. Licensed to Irvine, California, United States, the station serves the Orange County area. The station is currently owned by Regents of the University of California and is based out of the system's Irvine campus.KUCI's studios are located by the Science Library and the Arts Computation Engineering Facility and remains the only independent radio station in Orange County.

The Claire Trevor School of the Arts (CTSA, Claire Trevor) is an academic unit at the University of California, Irvine, focused on the performing and visual arts. The four departments housed in the school are for art, dance, drama, and music. CTSA has undergraduate programs, masters programs, and a doctoral program in drama conducted jointly with UC San Diego.

Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark is the ballpark at the University of California, Irvine in Irvine, California, United States. It is the home stadium of the UC Irvine Anteaters baseball team. Opened in 2002, the stadium has 908 seats and can accommodate up to an additional 2,500 people on a grass berm.In 2009, the ballpark's field was named for Ralph J. Cicerone, the university's chancellor from 1998 to 2005.

The New Swan Theater is an outdoor, portable theater that is assembled and disassembled each summer as part of New Swan Shakespeare Festival, the annual Shakespeare festival at the University of California, Irvine. It is a reduced-size replica of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
